We loved everything about this resort! The people are so kind, so warm, so positive all the time! With the attention the focus on details and the beautiful location, water, amenities, you feel you’re in Paradise! The food was great, very good buffet in the morning; for lunch or dinner you could choose one of the restaurants onsite which către to any taste. We spent our Honeymoon here and it will forever hold a place in our hearts. 🤍

Restaurants weren't so good

Room, location, facilities.
The food. Except for breakfast, the food was OK but not to the quality of Le Tahaa Pearl Resort. The descriptions of the food were inadequate, and special food events were cancelled without warning.
The descriptions of the available activities were mostly wrong, and the QR codes describing the activities were missing.

• Many Room Options to suit your needs/desires
• Amazing beach
• Breathtaking views of the lagoon and Island
• Meticulously groomed gardens and common areas
• Super private garden bungalows
• 4 ft deep lagoon from your own private deck
• Very quiet resort
• Friendly and Responsive staff
• Thermal Bottles for each person to get water form any of the many water/ice stations throughout the resort
• Room Service prices were not inflated over restaurant prices
• Mini Fridge restocked daily
• Some Over-water Bungalows are a long walk
• Need more lighter-fare options on menus

No great vegan options. I thought being charged for transport to the hotel and airport for a very short trip was overcharged and akin to being nickled and dimed.

The overwater bungalow was by far the best and nicest one of our honeymoon in French Polynesia. The entire hotel property is spotless. The views -from everywhere you look- are stunning. It feels like a 5-star resort, way more than other 5-star resorts on the islands.
Airport transfer is way overpriced in all The Pearl resorts, and mandatory (no other way to get there). The food is pricey for what you get. Le Bora Bora is located in a private motu and the hotel charges quite a bit for every boat transfer to town, which can make you feel a bit trapped.

The property is beautiful with a big beach and gorgeous gardens. Nice central complex of restaurants, bars, and boutiques surrounding the pool. The lagoon is quite shallow for a very long way with a sandy bottom. Reefs have been constructed under all of the overwater bungalows plus a few areas of constructed coral gardens for snorkeling. Our group had one overwater bungalow with a pool on our deck (incredible!!!) plus two garden bungalows with private pools which were very pretty and spacious! Staff was friendly and fun, it feels like they all really enjoy their jobs.
Hard to find a clear view of Bora Bora from anywhere on the property.

The staff are all nice. It is a beautiful resort and well-maintained.
The room was nice and clean.
We saw lots of fish in the Lagoon. if you are lucky you get to see Shark and Stingray at night time.
We will be back😊
The breakfast buffet was delicious.
But the Restaurant meals at dinnertime were a bit average.

This was the best travel experience we've ever had and we've traveled all around the world! The scenery was outstanding - it was like living on top of a saltwater aquarium, surrounded by huge patches of light and dark blue water as we looked out from our bungalow. At night, we would see small sharks and rays swimming around our bungalow along with pretty fish during the days and nights.
Our bungalow felt brand new - very clean and beautifully appointed -- we could tell lots of care and planning went into the details. At the end of our bed, we had a see through bottom that opened up and looked down into a planted coral garden which attracted colorful fish. Around the sinks and bathtub were see through areas to the turquoise waters below as well. I especially liked the background splash shield wall of mother of pearl shell that the two round light up mirrors were placed against. The room walls had petroglyph wall paper, and the ceiling was perfectly placed layer after layer of traditional Polynesian thatched roof.
The service and food were outstanding - every time we needed to call for something, it was immediately done. The hotel knew our schedule for excursions and flights and made sure to give us reminders. The food was outstanding -- fresh fish everyday and the pastries could have been flown in from Paris. We loved the sweet pineapple, mango, kiwi, salted fish, scrambled eggs (not overcooked).
One exceptional highlight was Laurent, the executive assistant manager. He was so kind as to give us an impromptu tour of the gardens and nursery in the back portion of the resort, showing us the beauty, thought & care that went into planning the property with authentic Polynesian touches and consideration for sustainability. We cannot wait to return one day and we will be sure to tell all our friends and family! Being seasoned travelers, I do not normally write reviews but in this instance, I felt strongly to give a nod to our best travel...
The first station's ice machine didn't work but the rest of the ice machines at the other stations did. It was probably scheduled to be fixed.

The welcome at the airport and the arrival at the hotel is spectacular, the resort is nice. Breakfast plentiful, large selection of everything. Accommodation in the garden villa is nice, the villa is comfortable and large
There is nowhere to hang wet swimsuits in the garden villa, I asked the cleaners, they did not know.
The fee for the boat trip to and from the airport is exorbitant for the price of accommodation.
Additional charge for travel to Vaitape.
Food at Miki Miki restaurant limited selection.
Grilling fish and lobsters at Miki Miki restaurant disappointed me, lobster was unfinished, meat tough, I left more than half, could not be eaten
The resort tries to limit plastic, there is a thermos in the villa for drawing drinking water, but if you order water in the restaurant, you get a plastic bottle
I was most disappointed with the lagoon, nowhere does it say that you can't swim in it, depth up to the waist, if I knew, I would never go there

Location, architecture, rooms, building new reef structures,
The food was not on par with the quality of the resort. To take the resort to the next level quality control needs to be done on food coming off the grill and in the stations.
