La proximité des commerces, la facilité de stationnement, le partage des espaces communs, la présence d’une machine à laver, ainsi que la flexibilité de Karren, qui nous a permis de déposer nos bagages avant l’heure du check-in.
L’exterieur n’est pas entretenu, le logement est assez sommaire et semble avant tout conçu dans une logique de rentabilité, au détriment du confort et de l’expérience des voyageurs. Par ailleurs, nous aurions apprécié que l’accueil et le suivi du séjour soient assurés directement par Karren. Les échanges avec son mari, Rainui, ont été décevants : nous n’avons pas retrouvé chez lui la chaleur, la bienveillance et le sens de l’hospitalité que nous attendons d’un hôte. Nous avons notamment ressenti une approche trop intéressée financièrement concernant le règlement rapide du séjour et un manque de discrétion voir d’intrusion juste avant le check out ce qui a nui à notre expérience.

1) The Bora Bora Yacht Club and Restaurant is across from this pension and it is a 20 seconds walk.
You can look at the sea and swim there as well. There is also a public bathroom facility at the Yacht Club.
2) Karen and her husband gave me a couple of free ride to the grocery at Vaitape.
3) If you book a Lagoonarium Lagoon excursion through the pension the price will be 11000 XPF instead of 13000 XPF.
1) Since the pension is only about 12 feet from the road, the traffic noise is 24 hours unabated.
2) Only the bedroom have air conditioning (AC), while the kitchen and the dining area do not, and so the
temperature would go up to 94 degree Fahrenheit. If the fan is running then the temperature would go
down to 88 degree Fahrenheit.
3) The nearest grocery store is about a 50 minutes walk.
