This is probably the best hotel we stayed at while travelling through Thailand! We have booked the room with sea view and it was the best view to wake up to in the morning. We loved how private, secluded and intimate the hotel felt. The reception staff were lovely and helped us get a boat back to the mainland and helped us with our luggage. We’ll definitely be back! Lastly, we couldn’t believe how close Railay beach was to the hotel!
There aren’t many dislikes for this hotel. The only thing that we struggled with a little bit was the restaurant and limited menu. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel with snacks and drinks as shops around the island are very limited!

We arrived by boat from Ao Nam Mao, which was a beautiful experience by itself, and had a caddy driver waiting for us at the beach. He and everyone else was so welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and you could feel the magic in the air. Maybe it was just the storm that was coming that night and breakfast in the gale force winds was an amazing experience. We loved being cut off from the rest of the world and were lucky to be able to trek to Railay for a few hours between the two storms... and then for it to be calm enough for us to leave and catch out flight at the end of the stay. Honestly we would've been delighted to have been stranded there a few more days! Watching the storm from our beautiful hut then walking around the beach, pool and relaxing in the treehouse after the rain had stopped but the warm wind blew clouds past the rising moon at dusk was something we'll never forget.
Honestly tough to remember anything negative except having to leave at the end. Our stay was too short :D The breakfast could've had a couple more options but was 7.5/10 at the very least. The pineapple jam was scrumptious so be sure to try that. The Thai option was also yummy. We felt a little dissuaded from leaving to go explore the village behind the resort, but to be fair, there was a storm coming. Also, though not a problem for us, maybe not a place to stay the day before a flight as you could get stranded but absolutely a place to stay for a longer while to unwind away from it all. We also ended up paying twice (at the beginning and the end) but the team was super cooperative and friendly in helping the issue get resolved.

The outstanding location, only accessible by boat.
Large and smartly arranged family room..
Good food & drinks at the restaurant.
The boat service between Ao Long and Tonsai Beach is poor and not under control (we have severely cut our feet on the sharp rocks at the pier while disembarking).
The beds are hard.

Utterly idyllic, fabulous location and a brilliant chill out bar at the end of the beach. We loved the Tinidee, it was a highlight of our trip. Fabulous
The low tide can cause issues with transport on and off the beach on a long boat but for us this added to the adventure.

LOVED this place. The position, the design, the breakfast, the style of the room. The best place we’ve stayed in Thailand.
Staying on Tonsai would always be cool but the hotel was beautifully done to not be an eyesore in such a natural setting.
And the only place we stayed which was eco aware with solar panels, turning off aircon for night period, recyclable things.
Just excellently done.
Had the feel of a very stylish ecodesigner running it but it’s actually a massive company. Anyway..
Nothing really. We loved it

A lot of space and a really lovely surrounding. Every room is a separate “little house”. There is Palmtrees in between and nice little spaces to hang out. The hotel is located directly at a very calm beach and 10 walking minutes away from the famous Railay beach.
The property is located in a very calm area and it’s hard to get to eat or explore somewhere else as it is only accessible by boat. But it’s the perfect place to tune off during vacation because of that.

Location is peaceful, and it is a walk up a small mountains to get to raillay beach. Good food. Bungalows are lovely. The resort is absolutely lovely for a chill session.
The beds are very soft and not comfortable, the food is good but very overpriced.

Good Staff only of the Restaurant and the Bell Boy who brought and took back our luggage.
Good WiFi
Water Faucet fixed at the entry of each room
!! NOT HAPPY WITH BOOKING.COM AND ITS RATINGS ! !
1. There is no Pier nor any arrangements for boats to come upto the shore. Every time even when sea is calm, we must walk to the boat through knee deep water spoiling our sheos and clothes.
2. Guest handling staff is not cooperative.
3. No ACs from 10 AM to 2 PM
4. No Emergency contact after 6 pm
5. Erratic power during the night.
6. Not prepared for any emergency
7. No Medical help available.
8. No place/stool or stand provided to keep our baggage.
9. Chairs only in Balcony not in room.
10. No room Service.
11. Open WC without any door located besides Tea/Coffee desk. They should have had some isolation between WC and the room.
12. Too many insects crawl into the room.
13.During rains, lot of water seeps into the room.
14. Bad and dangerous Electrical wiring practice. No safety moms followed.
15. No one responds after 10 PM, No help can be got.
16. Hotel arranges for very substandard boats for transfer with careless and ill trained staff on boat who do not bother about the human safety especially while boarding the boat from a knee deep water.
16. During the selection process of this property, there was no mention of the fact that there this location cannot be approached by road from anywhere.

Lovely place to stay. The staff was so nice and helpful all the way from the reservations up until departure. The operations manager is a very polite person and came to greet us at breakfast to see if we had a good night. He even granted us an upgrade when he did not have to. The views are great, the accommodation was great and we had lovely food at the facility restaurant.
It gets hot in the bungalow at night because of isolation which is to be expected.

staff was friendly and trying
tonsai beach is not swimmable. you can walk over to Railay beach but it’s not easy and you have to haul your stuff. sometimes it’s high tide and you can’t get through on Railay side.
swimming pool is not inviting.
since hotel is only accessible by boat you have to buy a private boat every time you want to leave. you can’t get a Public boat unless you wait for 8 people to gather. given there is no one coming and going you’ll wait a long time. even when we did buy a private, the hotel put us on a boat with other workers and boat driver charged us the full private price.
air conditioning did not work. our room was over 80F.
overall, it’s just not worth the money they charge.

This place were just breathtaking! The nature and the surroundings of the bungalow were even more beautiful than the pictures. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bungalow itself and the design of it were so nice and picture-friendly. If you go to Krabi and really want the exotic glimpse of Thailand, this is were you should stay! Such a unique stay
This place is located on an «Island» so you will be kind of stuck there, and the only way to get to the resort is by treeboats, which were a bit stressful with suitcases, but we made it back and forth in one piece.
Since it’s located in the «jungle» there’s a lot of insects and ants inside the bungalow, which is nasty but makes sense.
Also the aircondition had to be switched off between 10:00 and 14:00 so the room got so hot, so toilet-visits were a bit painful during this time!

Fantastic scenery and location. Unique accommodation and big spacious rooms with amazing views are also a perfect place to rock climb.
Did not have a long tail shuttle into the main part of town though this may be due to tidal flats here and only accessible at certain times.

what’s not to like about Tinidee Beach Resort, the location is amazing, arriving by long boat and seeing the accommodation on stilts with the beautiful views in front was wonderful

The stuff, food, location, facilities are great! Beach towels and even a beach bag provided!
The hotel tries to minimize the use of plastic and you can refill the water as well as glass bottled water is provided in the room every day.
The only thing that bothered us was the sound of the boats passing by or arriving/departing from the beach. It's nothing too bad, just to keep in mind that it won't be extremely quite during the day (and sometimes night), unless you learn to ignore the sound, which we didn't manage to.
