4 noche en la isla.

-El lugar tenía para rentar motorbikes (200B por día). -Tenía servicio de lavanderia de pago. Entendimos 6 Baths por Kg de ropa. Pero al final fueron 60 Baths por Kgs. -Aire condicionado OK. -Buenas vistas (se ve el mar) des de nuestro Bungalow (terraza). - Hay una gata lugareña que cada mañana venia a visitarnos. Le compartiamos el desayuno. Por favor, hacer lo mismo se la veis, q no os cuesta nada. Además, caza ratones. -El personal muy amable y servicial. Nos gestionó todo lo q necesitamos.

- El Bungalow tiene demasiados agujeros, lo que facilitaba el acceso a todo tipo de insecto. Mosquitos, insectos voladores, hormigas (teníamos en toda la ropa). Tras eso, la mujer nos facilitó insecticida y limpió el bungalow. Suerte de la mosquitera, sobre todo por la noche. Nosotros nos consideramos de campo y fue algo incomod. Así que si no te gustan nada los bichos, no es tu sitio.

Beautiful, calm and comfortable experience near the beach and in the middle of nature

You get what you pay for. The owners and everyone around are incredibly helpful and kind. We got everything we needed except the hair dryer, but that was fine considering how hot it was in the island. Breakfast was so good, home made sticky rice with fresh mango and fresh sandwiches. There is coffee in the room and a little coach. We needed a motorbike and they brought it to us right away in minutes since we asked. We asked for helmets and they brought them right away. We experienced 2 different type of bungalows and both were very well equipped and comfortable for the price we paid, with beautiful view to the beach and nature. One of them had even a mosquito net for the bed.

We were impressed about the amount of lizards (and lizard poop) everywhere in the room. But it did not bother us at all. That is the price of being in the middle of the nature, you have to adapt. But you must know this is the case. Also the shower is right on top of the toilet and all floor will get wet, but it was totally fine for us and it never bothered us. For us it was the best way to get a real Thai experience.

Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit . Bungalow war gut.. Kleine Küche mit Toaster Kühlschrank Wasserkocher Mikrowelle ..

Frühstück muss man nicht haben.. entweder selber machen oder frühstücken gehen ..

Peaceful l, quiet stay in Koh Yao Noi, highly recommend!

Aircon wa amazing, surroundings were beautiful, peaceful stay. Lady host was so fantastic, couldn’t do enough for us. Nice breakfast. Nice kitchenette in the bungalow. Sweet cat came and said good morning to us every morning we were there.

Bad smell in bathroom, lots of mosquitos able to enter the bathroom. Housekeeps left one of our windows up when they cleaned and we were out for the day, meaning all of our belongings were easily accessible to anyone who wanted to enter.

Très bon rapport qualité prix.

La disponibilité et la sympathie du personnel. L’environnement arboré et bien entretenu.Le petit déjeuner en terrasse avec vue sur la mer à l’horizon. La location des scooters par l’établissement ( indispensable et vital sur l’île)

La décoration intérieure est tristounette, sans charme.

Lovely bungalows in a peaceful setting and great views. Good value for money as well.

We stayed in the bungalows on the left going up with lovely views. They were a good size and the additional living area and kitchen was very useful. Fridge and limited cooking facilities/utensils. We had the breakfast option which was fantastic and delivered freshly made by one of the staff - something different every day. The location is off the road and very peaceful day and night. There is a very friendly ginger/white cat who loves attention. There are a few bars/restaurants that are walkable (although a dark road at night). They hire bikes which is needed to explore the island. We ended up staying for 3 extra days and would recommend for a quite location.

really nice place

bedroom,bedsheets and bathroom clean. ac was working. the balcony with sea view and the kitchen’s équipement. the wifi is very well this is a really big bungalow + there is a cute orange cat hanging around 🥰

the kitchen supplies, the frige and the dishes were not clean at all (there were some leftover dishes in the sink when we arrive)

A peaceful escape

Lovely lady who runs the place, brought me a delicious breakfast to my balcony every morning :) Amazing views and such a peaceful location. I stayed for 9 nights and never wanted to leave!! Ko Yao Noi is a special island.

I would recommend Mookanda to anyone. Excellent all-round. Superb morning sunrise views, great breakfast ~ Something different every day! Pleasant staff.

We stayed in a fantastic bungalow with aircon that overlooked the bay. The host was great there is a language barrier but she’s so lovely. There are a couple nice restaurants close to the property but they also have scooters for hire as well to get around the island. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Great stay with fantastic home made breakfast

1. Fantastic sea view from the balcony 2. Exeptional breakfasts delivered every morning to your terrace: home made mango sticky rice, tuna sandwiches and Thai style rice soup 3. Very nice and kind owners although hard to communicate as non of them speak English

This is review regarding the oldest bungalow with a fan. Mookanda also owns newer ones with red roofs and AC and everyone seems to prise them. 1. Our was very old and run down with holes that allow every creature to crawl in, walls and roof are full of lizards and they make a lot of noise during the night. 2. Plastic covered bed screeching when you move while sleeping 3. No mosquito nets in the windows which should be easy to fix Despite all of above we had fantastic stay and I truly recommend this place.

Stunning location, close to nicer beaches on east coast

Beautiful bungalow with large terrace in a jungle hillside setting. Spacious with separate kitchen area. All bungalows have partial sea views. 10 minutes walk to Tha Khao beach

The staff are a nice family who run a shop and laundrette on the road which is about 3 min walk down hill from the bungalows. But I found them difficult to communicate with, as my Thai language was limited. I was certain that I had booked the Superior Bungalow (with red roof and better build quality) and the description and photos even showed it on my booking confirmation. But the lady who handles my check in insisted I pay 200 bht extra over 3 nights to upgrade and I didn’t have the mindset or energy to argue. Ended up booking my transfers and tours with other agents around the island

Something in between

Quiet, easy to relax, the staff was very kind.

Drain pipe was leaking, so there was constant smell and wet floor in the bathroom. The walls and roof are full of lizards, and they make a lot of noise during the night, and you don’t know when someone will crawl out. The bed was very uncomfortable and had some kind of plastic cover underneath the sheets so it was very hot as well. These are all the problems of the old Bungalows with white roof on top of the hill. If you can, get the one with the red roof, we saw they don’t have gigantic holes in roof, and they are well isolated. Probably better beds too.

the „Manager“ of the Bungalows was awesome …great guy…👌🏻…we book all at him -scooters tours transfers-…all prices where good and it was a all in one packed … i can recommend the booking there

Wonderful place, so close to nature

Lovely place with an amazing flora and fauna around. The service is amazing, really lovely and helpful people. I loved the breakfast, especially the mango sticky rice, my favorite!

Superb

Great bungalow. Lots of space and a generous breakfast left on the terrace each morning. People that run it are lovely, sorted scooter hire and did our washing for us. Highly recommend

Nice quiet island easily accessible from Phuket and krabi

Really lovely staff. It was a difficult time, my plans were forced to change due to Covid-19 and I had to cut short my staff. They were very helpful and accommodating and took me to the pier for my boat back to Krabi.

If we were to stay again would probably just pay for the AC bungalow for less hassle. Friendly owner

We liked getting changed to the bigger bungalow with the red roof on the second day, it was sealed from bugs and optional 100 baht extra for AC. The newer bungalows are really nice and would highly recommend them, very spacious includes seperate kitchen. We liked how the owners were always available to talk at the shop down the street. We liked how easy it was to rent a scooter from the owners and the access to do laundry. We liked the close proximity to the really nice beaches by 6 senses resort and Sea gypsy/other good restaurants. Might stay again, but would just book the AC bungalow to avoid the hassle. The photos with the bed/kitchen and view from patio are the new bungalow we got switched to with the red roof. There is one photo of the older bungalow with bugs (with the silver/grey looking roof).

The first night there we were put in the oldest bungalow (wooden roof), it had a problem with termites in the roof around the time of thunderstorms in the evening. The bugs would fall from the ceiling and could crawl through our mosquito net and bite us. The owner said it was only around the time it rains that the bugs come out and he offered to move us into a newer bungalow (with red roof) that is sealed for AC. This means it is not the first time it has happened. He told is we had to pay an extra 100 baht/night, we negotiated that we just wouldn't turn on the AC as we payed for only a fan room so we didn't pay the extra 100 baht. We don't like using AC, they did set us up with 3+ fans to make us more comfortable as it was the summer season. The owners were very accommodating after that night and always asked us if we needed anything or any help. They however didn't clean the room at all during our 5 nights there and language barrier was tricky as they speak little English and we speak little Thai. We found out on the last day when we were leaving that the owner didn't have a key to our bungalow /we had the only key so if we were not in the bungalow when she wants to clean it then it doesn't get cleaned.
