Significant variety of Burmese and International food, delicious and adequate.

Breakfast was good, had a spacious room and also the bistro in front was pretty cool.
Lots of mosquitoes in the neighbors and the insulation was not good, it was quite noisy in the night when other rooms are having some parties.

Great staff, very polite and caring. Nice restaurants and coffee places not far from the hotel.

I liked the location of the hotel in Golden Valley
The staff didn't seem to care and there was already an argument going on between guests and front desk staff when we arrived. They gave me a key card, then took it back and told me thean showing us to the room had our key, however when we got there the room number had changed and nobody had a key card. He went downstairs to get us one and when we went in the room there were no towels or toilet paper in the bathroom, just the empty cardboard tube. I called the front desk to tell them then heard them try to call us back in the room they were going to put us in to start with, so I couldn't answer their call. We had to ask the housekeeping staff for the missing items. The room was basic but adequate, thw bed sheets were old and had stains on them which wasn't great. The worst though came in the morning when I woke up covered in bed bug bites. Thankfully we were only staying one night and told the stafd at check out. They seemed uninterested in what I had to tell them.

Location is close to The Shawedagon pagoda, just 5 minute by car.
Extra bed is so poor, not feel comfortable.

Best on Town with Forest and Shwedagon as main view , Breakfast excellent as always
Is a bit tricky to get normal rates taxis there as many Taxis overcharge due to the side road location and taking advantage

Breakfast was so lovely. They serve Myanmar food and some primary western menu as a buffet. The restaurant was so clean. And we should have added another person to the room- 3 persons in a room and they prepared an extra bed and a chair smoothly. The staffs are so cooperative. And the additional cost was not too much, very reasonable. The reception workers are so bright that they respond to our message very quickly and effectively, in both online messaging/in- person communicating.
The hotel permit dollars or Myanmar kyats payment. We had only Myanmar Kyatts and they accepted the Kyatt payment online. At that time the hotel`s exchange rate was not the same as the present market rate. These days the 1 dollar = around MMK 2100, but they demanded MMK 2600. I found some booking.com pages did not show the hotel exchange policy and showed the estimate applying the market rate. At that time the price will be quite a big difference. If the hotel demands a higher rate, booking.com should indicate the rate before making a final booking. Or if the hotel follows the real market exchange rate, the estimate will be more accurate on the booking.com web page.
I found that some hotels in Yangon demand 1 dollar MMK 3000. It was too much. But I found that some reasonable hotels give a reasonable rate, around MMK 2,100-.
