Excellent location and the owner was super friendly. Though it was a short stay had a wonderful time.

Maybe more breakfast choices for vegetarian people.

Very well located on a lake. Secure systems. Nice room. Comfortable bed. Nice welcome. Host communicated with us about arrival time.

Extremely steep downward access slope. No lift to reception. Very tough for people who have walking or balance issues. Very spartan breakfast made ready in an aluminium tray. Host welcomed us on arrival but didn’t show on day of departure. It seemed on the expensive side compared to other properties.

The house itself is right by the fjord. But be careful - the rooms vary quite a bit. We did NOT get anything even close to our expectation. It was supposed to be a 2Bedroom apartment with a fjord view but we ended up in a crawl space where you can barely sit straight because the ceiling was too low.

We booked an apartment for 4 with 2 BRs and a fjord view. What we got barely qualifies as a crawl space!. Your head touches the ceiling even when sitting on the bed (and I am petite). The mattresses were horrible. There were two tiny mattresses (smaller than twin) in both rooms that were worse than a couch bed. You keep falling off the bed as they were like temporary air mattresses. For the amount of money we spent on this, we were completely deceived. After we shared our frustration, they gave an alternate room with no view for only one couple, this room was reeking of paint and if you opened the curtain you see the dark dungeon (burnt down basement level). The other two members had no alternate option and were stuck with the crawl space. The host helped pull the mattress out of the crawl space into the living room, but that wasn't much better as the mattresses were worse than what you would get in a free/cheap hostel room. This was the worst lodging experience ever ! It ruined our vacation mood completely. We just wanted to get out of there.

Brilliant location, nice and quiet and restful. (You will need transport like a hire car to get there). Rooms very comfortable and host great. Little bit of 'work in progress' there, but nothing disruptive and nothing to detract from the stay.

That would be finding fault for the sake of finding fault!

- the owners were very friendly and helpful. we had a lot of bags and they helped us bring them to the property and take them back up to the cars - rooms done up to a high specification however lot of variability in the quality of rooms - gorgeous location by the water

- not convenient to get to, particularly with a lot of luggage because getting to the hotel requires coming down a very steep slope - we were in a group and had booked some rooms together in advance that were not given to us and changed last minute. furthermore, the apartment that we booked had very uncomfortable rooms. the ceilings were sloping and came down so far that one couldn’t even sit up in bed. we therefore had to ask for different rooms. the hosts however accommodated this request and ended up giving us a suitable room when we expressed disappointment at the size of the bedrooms in the apartment

Clean and beautiful apartment. Stunning water views. Great shared space. Nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful host.
