Excellent location & atmosphere for a weekend in London.

Excellent location, so close to Holborn tube station which is on the Picadilly and Central lines. Hotel is very 'cool,' lovely atmosphere. Room was spacious and very clean, couldn't fault it.

It was noisy, not the hotel itself, we didn't hear noise from the bars but as it is on a busy road we were woken by passing traffic and sirens during the night, it is the only negative about the hotel.

The customer service and delivery across the entire hotel was exceptional. Thw management team went the extra mile to make the birthday surprise gift perfect Thank you NYX Holborn, we'll be back.

Can't fault the place, our stay/experience was excellent.

Great location and very good price but just wasn’t what I expected from a 5* hotel

Great location decent breakfast selection Nice drinks in the bar Good spa treatments Steam room was good

Not the best size rooms No hot tub The whole pool is only 1.2m deep Not the most Comfy beds / pillows Only 6 loungers in the spa so not much space to sit in busy times Pancakes sucked Very noisy was hard to sleep needs better soundproofing from the windows

Fun hotel, great location but fell short on customer service

Location is perfect. So close to the west end and tube stations. Easy walking distance to most things. Loved the style of the hotel. The art was great. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean.

So firstly I had to ask 4 times for another tea sachet in my room as I was only given 1. After 4 tries I gave up and never got my tea. The mini bar and snacks felt like a sneaky way to try and get you to buy extras without it being clear they weren’t complimentary. I was only given 1 pair of slippers in my room despite there being 2 of us, and one of the robes was tiny. Also very well worn. The gym and spa was good but the TVs in the gym didn’t work as they weren’t connected to the internet. There was also no fan or air con in the gym - it was in the basement and stiflingly hot. Lastly the staff could have been friendlier, they seemed to be a bit annoyed when you asked them something. When I said I had asked 4 times for tea they didn’t apologise (and I still didn’t get it) Breakfast was decent but no dairy free options other than soya milk. No veggie sausages or vegan yogurt.

Excelent location and staff

The staff were amazing, helpful, polite, and problem solvers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to London. The room was huge for a hotel room. The location is superb; we reached our favorite spots within a 15-minute walk. For those who prefer not to walk, the underground station is just a 4-minute walk away

I love Margaritas, I love cocktails.. Unfortunately, they weren’t good at all. The food was moderate. One would expect better food and cocktails in such a beautiful hotel.

Good central place for couples.

Friendly staff and a very clean environment. Good buffet breakfast with fresh egg bar inc. omelettes. Bright, contemporary feel.

Food at the bar was a little slow coming, although fresh when it did.

Everything was great here! will definitely stay here again. Location is great too! Super near a tube station. Hotel services and Staff is awesome and great! overall my most favourite stay throughout my trip in the UK :)

Apart from that we had an excellent stay

Very nice and modern, rooms were lovely and breakfast was very nice too

The card machine at reception was faulty with any card from Barclays which was embarrassing as it showed it as declined. Staff quite abrupt asking for another card but I suggested using the one at the bar as that one worked okay. It was the same when we checked in on the Friday that they needed to collect a £1 to open room account but when it declined they said we couldn’t have anything from the minibar. If recognised problem with Barclays they should get it sorted as made it feel like it was my problem

Disappointing

Pool, location, size of bed, size of room, funky artwork, style, room amenities.

Complementary bottle of wine in the room was half drunk and took two phone calls to be replaced. Light bulbs were out in the room. Bathroom floor and under the sink weren’t clean. Generator outside the window was noisy. One member of the bar staff was very grumpy, tables in the bar were full of finished uncleared meals.

Better rates if you book last minute. Reception staff are rude, unhelpful and unapologetic.

Comfy bed

Unfortunately reception staff were unhelpful. Gave me the wrong room number - made to feel like I was their problem. Booked in advance paying full price and the room price was reduced considerably - never a good look. Would have been cheaper to turn up on the day. Called reception to service broken desk lamp - never attended. Failed to email my my invoice on request - made me email them to request invoice rather than process over the phone despite having booking confirmation details.

brilliant hotel

Don't normally write reviews but I feel it was needed after our stay here, I can't speak highly enough of this hotel, perfect location, rooms were very clean modern and spacious for a room in London. Want to give a special mention to a member of your staff ( I think her name was Brenda) we arrived early before check in to see if we could leave our bags anywhere as we knew check in wasn't to 3pm but didn't want to be dragging suitcases around, not only did she arrange an early check in for us there and then as our room was already early but as soon as she realized it was my was my wife and mines wedding anniversary she upgraded us free of charge and arranged a small welcome package for us with desserts to our room and cocktail tokens at the bar, all the staff were more than friendly and welcoming but definitely had to give that particular member of staff a mention all those little touches didn't go unmissed and were greatly appreciated.

The hotel was lovely, the staff very welcoming and always happy to help. Bed was really comfortable and I liked the tea/coffee station

We would of liked the bar to be open after 1am as a residents bar usually is. We got back after an evening of a show and a few drinks and would of liked a night cap. (Only a slight complaint) The room was slightly dark even with all the lights on.
