The bathroom, sink and kitchen need a deep cleaning. Bathroom mirror and sink were so dirty.

The property is beautiful and very well maintained; most of the staff speak English and are very helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. (On my second day I discovered there is a restaurant with good coffee.) There is a supermarket in walking distance which includes lots of food places.
My room did not have amenities like a coffee maker or hair dryer. The lighting in the bathroom was poor, no Netflix on the TV.

Room/suite was a comfortable size - the kitchen was sparsely equipped but adequate.
A little more expensive than I wanted to pay, but last minute it was the best choice. I would consider staying longer if it was priced better.

Great location! We took our dog so we also enjoyed the flexibility of having a big dog at the hotel. Pool was refreshing and breakfast was great! The staff was extremely polite and helpful! We would definitely go back.
No Elevator
No shampoo/conditioner
Hotel only provided bath towels not wash cloth & hand towel.

The pool area was the best part. Room was spacious, TV was small.
Toilet stopped working, got it fixed. A/C stopped working, did NOT get fixed. No fridge, no ice, no elevator, had to drag luggague up stairs.

The pool was nice
Worst customer service ever encountered.
I booked a room with two beds for my family of four. Upon arrival, we were shown to a room that had one bed and two narrow, concrete benches as the "second bed" that the kids were supposed to sleep on (no sheets or blankets). After a lot of discussion and three room moves hauling out suitcases up and down three flights of stairs, we finally got the room I had reserved - with two beds. The discussions didn't stop there, however. I had also booked the room with a "fantastic breakfast" included. When we went for breakfast in the small cafe, we were first told, that there were no breakfasts included, then that we would only get two breakfasts, and finally, after lots of discussion, we were able to get breakfast for all four, but only a tiny selection of what was on the menu (eggs or fruit), and only half of the order - the yogurt and granola indicated on the menu with the fruit order was not included in the pre-paid breakfast option. Seriously, how expensive is a bowl of granola. We ended up having to purchase another breakfast, because just fruit wasn't very filling. Also, coffee refils aren't included in the pre-paid breakfast option. Way to deter customers from coming back. The location of the hotel is also terrible and there are no restaurants around, save for a "food court". The restaurant in the hotel closes at 2pm.

We booked 4 nights and were ready to check out after 1. The ajoining room next to ours was so loud, we started whispering. It sounded like everybody in the hall was in our room...horrible. for $84 in mexico, not worth it. Been coming here for years. You can do better!
We upgraded to a $110 suite and got more than we expected. About 900 sq ft. Super comfy bed and quiet. Spend a little more and you will enjoy it if you dont need a really clean, modern condo type place. Floor is dirty, fawcett spins around, usual mexico stuff. About a block to the beach. Food court is right outside the gate and big grocery store and mall are a 10 minute walk.
Its the 1st of march and the pool is just barely warm enough. Beautiful and perfect, but cold. Dislikes...as above, our standard room was horrible. Suite is great. Dont bother with prepaying for breakfast. 3 silver dollar size pieces of bread, juice, coffee and a pretty, but tiny, fruit plate. We pre paid $12 per day and blew off the breakfast for the last 2 days and cooked our own. Not worth it!! It took an hour and a half the second day. They have 3 people working 10 tables! They try to be classy and go very slowly...takes forever

Always enjoy staying at Puerto de Luna. It's in the mid hotel zone so easily to access downtown and also the other parts north of town.
Since most of the rooms are suites, there are doors are joining the two parts, The largest suite and the one bedroom. The problem is the insulation in the door is very very poor and you can hear all the noise from the next room. Little additional insulation would really help

location and staff was really friendly
needs plenty of updates
bedding, bathroom, couches etc…
no phone in room, poor lighting, one of our toilets was clogged and towels were a bit dirty.
it has a lot of potential to be better.

A real home away from home. Friendly staff and a family atmosphere. One of the rare venues that welcome dogs, so expect plenty of canines on leashes. All well behaved of course.
Plumbing is old and not quite up-to-standard. Pool closes at 9 - a bit early for the tropical weather. Bedroom was dark and lacked lighting
