Ich würde Jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen!

Die Lage direkt am Englischen Garten ist super. Es war total ruhig, obwohl man quasi Mitten in Schwabing ist. Man kann zu Fuss in die Stadt!

Ik kom er graag

Onze dochter is gaan wonen in München en als we haar bezoeken boeken we dit hotel. Het ligt er prachtig naast het park. Het is er heel rustig. Alles en iedereen is relaxed en lief. Ontbijt is heerlijk en de kamers zijn fijn en met balkon.

Niets te mopperen.

Silent hotel with friendly service in a perfect location

Good breakfast with fresh fruit bowl, eggs according to your wish. Fast and friendly service. Firm bed with good formable pillow. Balcony towards silent street with trees. Perfect location just by English Garden and could of blocks to the busy restaurant areas.

Smallish room, as in specification of course.

If you use a booking service, I recommend contacting the hotel directly to confirm!

For some reason our reservation from booking.com did not go through, but the host was so accommodating. They managed to find us a room. They were kind and friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding. I loved the stay.

Satisfactory hotel which more than suited our purpose for the visit to München. Good location.

Clean, tidy & comfortable overall.

Pillows on the beds were not to my/our liking at all.

Wonderful surprise near the English Garden

This was the end of our 15-day Christmas Market tour throughout Bavaria. We wanted something close to the English Garden and this is the place although we really didn't take advantage as much as we could have. The hotel is a bit on the utilitarian side and is in a residential district. That said, we loved the room, the quietness, the underground parking, and the delicious buffet breakfast. The price was great. Best part was the wonderful restaurant just at the end of the block; very authentic with delicious goulash and schnitzel. I highly recommend this place.

As mentioned, I was a bit taken aback at the location (it seemed very residential) and the feel of the place (almost like a dorm). But everything was top-notch: clean and quiet. Super value.

Superb

We’ve stayed here for many a time. Location is so excellent, near the English garden. But that is its main draw. Staff are wonderful, and the breakfast is excellent.

Property is getting maybe a little old and tired. And it is expensive.

It is in a wonderful location, near the English gardens and the public transportation. The hotel was very clean and they served wonderful breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful.

Great and quiet location to plan your Munich trip

The location is perfect if you want to explore Munich from here and the room was perfectly adequate. The bonus in the morning was the breakfast on the terrace which just caught enough sunshine.

Would have preferred some A/C during these hot days but appreciate that it is not a thing for Germans.

Superb

Awesome location on a quiet street a few blocks from Münchner Freiheit (10 min subway to city center; lots of local restaurants) and next to the always wonderful Englischer Garten. We had a large room with a comfy couch, day bed and sitting chair plus a work desk that looked into the green courtyard and every room has a big balcony. Lots of space for your luggage and to unpack. Yes the decor is almost retro but the room is so comfortable that you love it. Hosts put on a great included breakfast and are happy to help with any request.

The bathrooms are on the small side but we’ll designed and functional except for small sink. Internet stayed connected but was sometimes too slow or throttled for video conferencing (I was working part time). But we will definitely stay again.

The location is exceptional, the staff very friendly, the room was exactly as advertised but most importantly it was clean. If you need to be in this part of town there really is probably no better place at this rate.

Great Hotel, great staff, great breakfast. Highly recommended

Located in an elegant district (Schwabing) right next to the "Englischer Garten". The Hotel is truly equipped with every comfort, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable beds, large rooms. The breakfast is really extensive. Special mention for the staff of an incredible kindness. I will definitely be back. Emiliano from Livorno (Tuscany)

The structure is not very close to the historic center (about 5/6 km away). But this is not a big problem since Munich is served by a large amount of public transport and it is not a problem to get to the center at low cost.

Pleasant stay, would visit again

The location is excellent. The staff are friendly, likeable people. It is a nice-looking hotel with simple but tasteful decor.

Our room was too hot, being on the south side of the hotel during a hot period (27-30 degrees c) and having no air conditioning. The TV was difficult to watch from the bed, being off to one side.

Wonderful location in the trendy Schwabing district, on quiet, leafy street with entrance to the Englischer Garten park nearby. Muenchener Freiheit Subway station about 7 min. Walk away, short ride directly to Marienplatz. Great area for sining, shopping. Eggs prepared tomorder at breakfast!

This is a fairly small hotel, comfortable but not sumptuous. It doesn’t actually overlook the Englischer Garten, but is very close to it.

Best place to stay in Munich

My absolute favourite place to stay in Munich. A few moment's walk to the Englische Garten and a superb restaurant. Heading up the hill you are very close to Munchner Freiheit and the bustling Leopoldstrasse. Every room has a balcony. Very safe area, nice and quiet, lovely staff, elevators etc.

Very quiet hotel in beautiful and safe neighborhood very close to very vibrant sites and the English Gardens. Also, very convenient to other places in Munich. Easy to reach by car and providing parking.
