Good but can get better

The hotel has a great ambiance and stylish contemporary Africa interior design. We appreciated the sink in the room so we could refill the kettle and clean baby bottles without going to the bathroom. The nature outside the room created a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and provided service with a smile.

The location is not as close to other attractions and activities in the Victoria Falls area as we hoped. And the route there is not so inspiring - however, it’s easy to forget the location once you are inside. The hotel seemed understaffed, so although service was delivered with a smile it was clear that they could do with a few more hands on deck. The food we had was not hot and came later than promised. There was no system (e.g., fan or mozzie candle) and to deter flies from landing on the buffet continental breakfast.

Perfect tranquil stay

We loved the rooms and the tranquil feel of this hotel. The staff was attentive and extremely helpfull. We loved the Africology products that was used in the bathrooms.

Nothing could be better. Absolutely no complaints. Will be back.

Beautiful oasis near VFT

A beautiful oasis, tranquil, green and possibly the best place in which I've ever stayed.

Had hoped, having given advance warning, for some gluten free bread at breakfast (as in Zambia hotel).

Luxurious and friendly

Everything about Mbano is wonderful. The food is fresh and tasty, the staff are extremely friendly and professional, the suites are truly luxurious, the grounds are very relaxing. I would come again and again.

What a luxurious stay we had

Very yummy breakfast and extremely generous portions.Super comfortable beds ,very spacious suites.My whole family loved it . The staff treated us like royalty and like we were the only guests.we loved everything about the place.The decor is amazing :)

Beautiful. I will recommend the place to friends.

The hotel room was clean, spacious and well decorated. The customer service was excellent. Particularly loved the breakfast.

nice place but needs improvement

comfortable bed and lovely staff

los of mosquitos, the mosquito net has big gaps between ceiling tile and wall tiles so it didn’t work at all. we sprayed all over but still got bitten every night!

Nice property, but is hugely overpriced and is lacking the quality control

The suites were nicely designed, the grounds / garden were beautiful and the staff were generally pleasant.

The price I paid for the suite for myself and my family was just under $500 per night. For that I would expect a polished service but in reality what I got was: The shower leaked The temperature of the water was fluctuating from hot to cold every 10 seconds The safe in the room was missing One of the doors to the bathroom was stuck The food portions in the restaurant were tiny The services I used at the lodge were hugely inflated (taxi, drinks, tours etc) The inflated price taxi I ordered at the lodge was 15 minute later in picking me up The eggs for the breakfast order mixed up The lodge is marketed as a quiet bush retreat, but it was next to a construction company which meant it wasn't very quiet in the mornings and multiple other small issues. In reality this is a $200 - $250 per night lodge and not a $500 per night lodge

The facilities are just wonderful. Good quality in everything. Wonderful staff. My kids still remember some of them. Very pleasant

World class offering!!!!

This hotel far exceeded my expectations! Every aspect of it was flawless and I will certainly be coming back again! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The ABSOLUTE best accommodation there is in Victoria Falls for a reasonable price!

In terms of food selections, the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. During meal times, the staff genuinely looked after us, and housekeeping made sure we had a clean and pleasant room to return to after dining. They also provided a turn down service, which surprised me. The rooms were quite big, and the bathrooms were opulent. Ignatius was really pleasant, and the activities he suggested were enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time, would definitely recommend it, especially to families, and will be back soon!

The pool was fairly small, which is a bit disappointing for the kids, and there isn't a gym for anyone who values such amenities, but everything else was fantastic.
