About this cottage rental
Located in Lake Ouachita, this lovely cottage for $239 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Designed for couples or 2 people. You will love this property and it will not disappoint. This Cottage on Lake Hamilton is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath home. It has comfortable leather furniture with 2 pull out couches, beautiful cedar tongue and grove walls and vaulted ceiling. Front bath located off the living area has large Jacuzzi Soaking Tub. The master bath has a double vanity and large shower. It has a beautiful extra large kitchen with big island and stainless appliances. The out door kitchen has a gas grill, charcoal grill, large covered porch with sitting area, covered bar area and mini fridge. There is a bouns sunroom that is wonderful for early mornings or late evenings. Boardwalk, and large swim platform included in rental. This home is much larger than it appears. Located in a quite neighborhood with 1/2 acre lot, on a dead end road and right on a beautiful cove on Lake Hamilton. We are about 15 min. to downtown area and most attractions are less then 20 minutes away…Very close to Lake Ouachita and Lake Ouachita State Park. Many guest come and take advantage of both Lake Hamilton and Lake Oauchita since we are only minutes away from the The Spillway, Echo Canyon & Lake Oauchita State Park. This home away from home is perfect for Couples and people that love to swim, float, fish, Rest, relax and just get away from it all. Record fish caught right out side the cove! The large striper fish displayed on the wall of the cottage was caught at the end of the cove on the main channel. Bring your boat, fishing gear, floats and water toys, there is plenty of boat parking right on our board walk. You can tie up your boat or personal watercraft to the board walk and leave in the water overnight. We are in a no wake zone, so no worries about your boat getting beat up from waves/wakes. Nature is at its best too, bird watching is great here and Bald Eagles are spotted often flying overhead. We have natural wild life here as well, rabbits, turtles, beavers, otters, foxes, minks and deer are often spotted in the area. We have plenty of trailer parking for boats, motorcycles/ATV's. We have covered parking for one vehicle. Come and visit, stay awhile, you will love the home away from home feel of the Cozy Cottage. We have Kayaks for rent and paddle boat available for use. Ask about Sunset Cruises/ boat rides in a private Party Barge . My husband and I stayed here, perfect for a couple, bed was firm and comfortable. Quiet peaceful, on a channel, close to both lakes. Would be a great place in the summer too I'm sure, especially if have a boat or jet ski.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I definitely would! My husband and I were looking for a nice, quiet getaway on the waterfront…this was everything we were looking for and more! One of our favorite parts was starting our day by sitting in the sunroom each morning, drinking coffee and just enjoying being with each other. The cottage has a homey feeling and everything from the bed to the recliners was so comfortable! Carol is very quick to respond and was very helpful in giving us suggestions and directions to places. I highly recommend this place!!!

If I could give 100 stars I would!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 Once agin everything was PERFECT!! We stayed here a couple of years ago & it was as beautiful & cozy as it was then!!
Carol & her Husband are TOP TIER!!! I left a pair of slides on our last stay & to my surprise ahe saved them for me!!!! We had an issue ( user error on my part) and they responded & came in no time!!!

It was a short drive to Hot Springs but far enough away from the hustle of city life. We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing around the house. Carol was responsive to every message and offered suggestions on area favs. Highly recommend!

We were there for a work trip and after along day this was an amazing place to come back to and relax! The view was spectacular and the accommodations were amazing.

Cozy Cottage was just that, cozy! We loved the cottage. It's about 20-25 mins from Hot Springs. Large outdoor deck with seating. Also had a lower deck for fishing in the lake or swimming in the lake. Cottage was clean, property manager was great and the cottage was spacious. I would definitely recommend!!!

The first thing I want to mention is Carol, the host of The Cozy Cottage, was so good about responding to my questions thru email & went above & beyond to help me! The house is located in a cove of the river/lake that is very quiet & has a very relaxing atmosphere. My husband & I took lawn chairs to sit out on the boardwalk right by the water every evening & watch the water, birds, turtles & lightening bugs. I fished & caught/released lots of blue gill on red worms & night crawlers. The house has very comfortable leather chairs in front of the tv. The bed is comfortable & a fan is provided in the bedroom. It was very nice having covered parking also. We were able to really relax & get away from our hectic lives but when needed, the wifi worked great. I would happily stay at The Cozy Cottage again!

This place was clean and super nice. Close to Hot Springs. Check in was super easy. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. The sun room was super nice early mornings and evenings and really cool during the rain! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at the Cozy Cottage. It is bigger than it looks in the photos and plenty of room for my wife and I to rest and relax. We enjoyed the view from the sunroom and even took to pedal boat out for a trip. The property was clean and comfortable. We would not hesitate to visit the property again!

This little hideaway was an absolute gem! The cottage was larger inside than it looked and was very clean and well-cared for, so we had no problems making ourselves at home. The bed was so comfy and the towels so soft! We left our boat trailered in the driveway and felt very secure with the location. We were entertained by the blue gill and bass hiding in the shadows of the cove and even threw out a line! We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of being on a cove (since Lake Hamilton was busy with the Memorial Day weekend crowd) and look forward to our next stay at Cozy Cottage!

Told host even in the few minutes we were there I experienced a headache & nausea. We felt it was not safe to stay there and vacated the premises. The odor remained in our clothes. Stayed here for a week and would highly recommend to anyone going to the Hot Springs area. The house is charming and has everything you need for your stay. Very nice outdoor patio, along with a dock in front of the house. Owners were there shortly after we arrived to see if we needed anything and to also to give us a heads up that we might be getting some bad weather that night, which was appreciated. I’d give it a 10 out of 10!!

My husband and I recently stayed at this property and we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. This cottage has everything you need both inside and out. Check in was smooth and the house itself was super clean. The owners were great and very responsive. We’d definitely stay here again.

Wow, just wow! What an incredible experience! First off Carol was the best! She answered any and all questions and since this was our first Vrbo rental, I had several! She stayed in constant contact on our check in day as we were arriving a little late and there were really bad storms and tornado warnings in the area! When we arrived we were in shock, the house was so beautiful, the photos do not do it justice! The house was homey and comfortable with just the right amount of personal touches! Carol had coffee so morning was covered ..important for the survival of the day)The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows (very important to me!) I loved the sun room and the soaking tub! My husband was able to fish and we enjoyed the deck ( I have put in a request for him to make me one like it at home) We saw what I believe was an otter swim by! The kitchen.. omg the kitchen love love love it! We both agree this would be the perfect retirement house for us! We look forward to the next time we can come down! Carol you have set a standard for hosts and I am a bit nervous none will compare! We were warned by friends that a lot of times the pictures are better than the actual house and to not get our hopes up.... they were wrong, so very wrong!

The water was great, nice and cool. I can't say enough about how beautiful the place is. Everything we needed was there. We went out each night to dinner and found it easy to get into and around Hot Springs, which was a major plus. We were only a short drive to many great places to eat. I'm planning on coming back in the fall and sure to bring my fishing poles. The fish are waiting. I recommend stopping in to enjoy this wonderful little place along the water. Very pretty house on a cove of the lake. Beautiful sunroom. Lovely deck with outdoor kitchen area. Husband learned it's better to fish with live bait; bring your foldy chair to sit on the boardwalk to fish. Wife can soak in the big jetted tub while hubby fishes! Living room furniture attractive and comfy with large TV (on which you can access some of your streaming services using your personal login info.) Our host, Carol, was always so prompt in answering questions and so kind. She even offered us tickets to a fund raiser lunch at the courthouse one afternoon!!! We highly recommend the Cozy Cottage!
(Heads up: Do be aware as Carol states in her description of the house, it is not accessible to those with limited mobility. The living area is 2 steps higher, so those 2 steps are involved in both entries/exits to the other rooms. One of the bathrooms is also slightly a different height, but that little lip is marked with brightly colored tape which was quite helpful.)
In summary, a beautiful place with hosts that exceed expectations!!! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!
