About this house rental
Situated in Garden City, this lovely house for $684 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Just a short walk and under 2 minute golf cart ride to the beach this luxurious and spacious 5BR/5BA is truly a vacation home at the beach. Golf cart is provided as a courtesy there is no refund if it's not available (only one time in 3 years). Living Room The living room features a 55 inch TV with digital Cable and plenty of seating to enjoy your favorite movie, sporting event or the company of your group. Kitchen/Dinning: The kitchen/dinning area features granite, newer appliances and is fully stocked with seating for your entire group. Bedrooms and Baths (Linens provided): All five bedrooms feature coastal décor, bathroom and cable TV. Upstairs there are 2 master suites with king beds and a spacious queen bedroom. The main level features a large room with 2 double beds and the lower room features a bunk bed double/twin. Outside (Beach/Pool towels not included): .The front porch overlooks the private pool and spacious seating area with 2 Pawleys Island rockers and additional chairs. It features plenty of parking, a gas grill and a large side area for entertainment. Additional amenities: Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer/dryer and beach toys/chairs.

Keith had great communication prior to arriving and even told me that we would be able to get in early. It happened to work out that we showed up around 4pm, which is check in time, anyway. I never received check in instructions/code. I messaged Keith several times with no response. I then called him several times over the next hour with no answer. I reached out to VRBO because it was 5:20 by now and we were all tired and hungry. They tried to contact him with no success as well. They were starting to setup another place to stay for us and then Keith finally got back to me to let us in 1.5hrs late.
Then we get to the golf cart. The whole reason I booked this home over another one was having access to a golf cart. My brother cannot get around very well but I knew with the cart we could ride and grab coffee in the morning, maybe grab ice cream in the evening and ride out to the beach. When I get there I noticed the front right tire blown out. Not like just flat but metal cords showing all over the tire, so this has been a messed up tire for a long time. I asked Keith about it and he said he had been trying to get it fixed but couldn't find a new tire anywhere. Long story short, it never got fixed, never received a discount for it being unavailable, just kept his excuse the it's listed as a "courtesy" so it doesn't have to be available for use.

Our stay was perfect. Keith was super responsive and the house had everything we needed. The golf cart was a plus - the neighbors were cool and very good people. The house is close enough to the beach and secluded enough to enjoy your privacy. Would definitely stay here again. We had 7 of us and had plenty of room.

The home worked perfectly for adults to stay on top floor, 2 kids share main floor bedroom and two teenage girls on the lower level. Kids and adults loved the convenience of the pool and the golf cart was perfect to go to beach or a few other places closeby (Drippy’s ice cream).

The house was as shown in listing. There was room so no one felt crowded, and could have their own space. The kitchen had everything we needed, as we cooked 3 out of the 6 days we were there.
Everyone enjoyed having the pool to relax in after being at the beach. The access to the beach was easy to get to with the golf cart and there was plenty of parking. The beach was crowded for me , however it didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves. The younger adults with us easily walked back and forth to the beach, but the golf cart made it possible with the older adults in our group.
The only caution I would have for a family wanting to rent this is, if you have a crawling child, the tack strips( for the carpet) between the living room and kitchen. Our crawler found them every time. We just moved a rug over the strips. Problem solved.

This property was big enough for our family and a couple friends when we came into town for our daughters Coastal Carolina Graduation. The owner was fast to address needs and concerns as they arose and was friendly! I gave 5 starts because he was amazing, but there does need to be some maintenance done to the property: towel bars and toilet paper holders were broken in a couple bathrooms, and the lattice was falling off on the stairs leading to the pool. Closets were disorganized, blinds broken. Outdoor shower wasn’t working at the time of our stay and may need updated. The owner did say that they were in the process of doing some spring maintenance, so I would definitely consider staying again in the future! Thanks for making our weekend perfect. :)

Property has newer kitchen and bathrooms but old, dirty carpet, older bed linens and furniture. We had a very nice stay and it’s in a great location close to the beach and the pier is just a golf cart ride away.

Was in town for a long weekend with family and friends. House was in a great location. It was clean. Owner responded to questions fast and was helpful. The large living room area was great. Definitely will consider this place when in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was nice but the neighborhood was not quite what we expected. The place was clean for the most part - a few of the toilets were dirty, but noting be couldn’t clean ourselves. It took us a day and a half to figure out how to fix the golf cart and drive it. Turns out the battery was corroded, but there was a wonderful neighbor who came to help us with the golf cart and even offered to tow us back to the house if we broke down again. It’s only a short drive/ walk (probably about a quarter of a mile) to the beach, shops, and bars. Overall great experience!

The location and layout were great for our family (parents, children/spouses, grandchildren).. Having one bedroom downstairs was perfect for the 2 teenage boys, who only came upstairs to replenish snacks. We all loved the neighborhood and made good use of the golf cart. It doesn't seem like much of a tourist area, which made it nice to walk/run to the beach in the mornings/evenings. The neighbors and people we encountered in the general area were pretty friendly. Everything we needed was close by, so we didn't have to travel far unless we just wanted to. And the owner was very responsive and helpful.

Nice, quiet part of Myrtle Beach. The flag lot gave us lots of privacy and provided more parking than most other homes in the area. Everyone having their own bathroom was a major plus. Pool was small, but that allowed us to put a large pop up canopy over it so we could swim in the shade (make sure you take it down when not in use so it doesn't blow into the pool). The owner replied promptly to all text messages while we were there when we had questions.
Pro-tip: there is a high rise on the beach right at the end of the street. Go to the beach late in the day (after 2) and sit in the shadow of the building and don't bother with an umbrella. The sand will be cool on your kids' feet, too.
