Very nice and clean apartment on top floor. Great convenient parking. Very close to restaurants and things to do. Only issue is you need to pick up the key at an alternate location not very well marked. The info said you could check in 1 hour before you could get in the unit but the keys did not arrive until a couple mins after 4:00 so we had to wait

You have on file a record of our issue upon arrival. Smoke alarm beeping in need of new battery. Contacted office Five times. Second person argued with me and hung up on me twice. Maintenance man called twice saying there was no problem and, like the second person, told me to fix it. He also hung up on me. Both expected me to fix it, when a battery and 10ft ladder were needed. When maintenance man arrived he had a surly attitude and was rude. Total take to resolve issue was about 5hrs, making unit unsuited for the purpose of our meetings, and an adjustment of our fee is appropriate.

When I look for a property to stay while traveling, I look for something conveniently located to the venue I'll be working/attending in an area with plenty of off street parking and local places to eat and drink. I look for something that will provide a clean, comfortable convenient stay. This space met all of those requirements.
The unit is located within walking distance to the arena, The convention center and tons of local bars and eateries. They have a dedicated, secure parking garage and an elevator that requires key card access. So, I always felt safe while traveling alone.
The unit was clean and well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home. The pillows could use a bit of an upgrade to match the mattress, but they definitely weren't the worst.
My only complaint is the smoke detectors. There is something wrong with the smoke detectors in this, and other units. In fact, you can hear them chirping from the elevator!
After spending two days in airports, I was looking forward to a good night's sleep. I noticed at check in that the smoke detectors were chirping every 30 seconds. I had to reach out twice before maintenance came out, but the sound was back the next day.
Several calls and texts over 2 days w no resolution. I was told where the batteries were to replace them myself, but there's no ladder. So, if you like the sound of 2880 chirps a day, then this is the property for you!

My wife and I spent a week in Grand Rapids as a getaway. The condo was perfect for us. Near many great restaurants and shops. We could not have been happier. We would book again the next time we are in town.

Very clean and comfortable, but parking is a hassle. The unit has everything, but a manual for the TV equipment would be nice as would a guide to the neighborhood bars, etc. Super location for Art Prize or any downtown activity. Communications were fast. Especially important since there were a few things we needed answers to. We'd stay again, but be advised that we asked a question of the building management and were told owners were not supposed to be renting units.

We had a wonderful time, the location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere. The property manager was awesome and responsed quickly to all my questions and requests. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice, great location!
We stayed in 4 units over Labor Day weekend for our son's wedding and couldn't be happier with our stay and experience in downtown Grand Rapids! I'm glad I read through other postings by other renters so I was sort of aware about the "key chase" ( keys are actually located off/away from the complex at a "key house" which is a couple of blocks away from the complex..but since we were driving in to begin with, we just stopped at the key house first! Not a big deal actually!) The other issue I needed to "come to grips" with, that another renter mentioned, was that communications were strictly by email/text/or the VRBO app..no "human voice" contact whatsoever ( unless you called the listed phone number you got a human voice answering machine! ;-) Once I accepted that means of communication( they actually were pretty quick to respond with the other methods) ...things went pretty smoothly! Our son's wedding was at The Cathedral of St. Andrew and the reception was at the Grand Rapids Art Museum and this complex was right in between the two! Couldn't ask for a better location and both locations were within blocks/walking distance! The parking passes that came along with the rentals for the parking ramp that adjoins this property added to our peace of mind and security! ( directions/ "you tube" videos! )on how the parking passes/security works within the complex was very helpful indeed! ;-) All the units were fully stocked with what we needed or wanted as far as any cooking "in house" in-between rehearsal dinner and whatnot and was a nice "retreat" from the " hustle and bustle" of everything else! This particular unit is labeled as a "penthouse " and was very nice! We really liked the observation deck and clubroom/lounge that this floor had and it made it very nice and accommodating for all of our guests that were in the other units to "congregate"/get together and to generally "catch up" with each other! This was a nice touch! The "proprietors" of these units ( Mitten Housing) were very receptive to anything that came up and were very responsive to any of our needs ( again...getting used to texting only! ;-) Would definitely recommend any of these units and this location and would rent again at this location "in a heartbeat"! Thank you again for a very pleasant and memorable experience !

The apartment was clean, and well-kept. It looks just like the photos. There were two small issues. The key pickup used a lock box that was supposed to be marked with the property address but there were eight boxes with all different numbers. We found the right box, but it was confusing. The second issue is about sleeping arrangements. The apartment is advertised as sleeping 6, but two people have to sleep on an air mattress that needs to be crammed into one of the bedrooms of the living area. It worked, but I was expecting a sofa sleeper or something equivalent.
