We are a family of 5 with 3 older teenagers. The location of the property is on Magazine Street just off Canal. It is a perfect location to explore the city. The room is one spacious studio apartment with high ceilings and New Orleans charm. The 2 beds were comfortable and one of our kids slept on the blow-up mattress which was also comfortable. We were able to cook several meals in the kitchen but the kitchen does not provide the cooking pots and pans for more than a couple of people. The coffee maker also is designed for 2-3 cups. The laundry is convenient and shared with the maid service personnel. Overall a great stay. We would recommend for those that are using the unit as a home base for a visit to New Orleans.

My wife and I travelled to NOLA with our 4 kids (ages 10 - 14) for the Thanksgiving holiday. With a couple air mattresses we were able to all sleep comfortably. We purchased a few kitchen essentials (pots/pans) and were able to prepare our Thanksgiving seafood in the kitchen. The highlight was enjoying that meal on the balcony! The unit was clean and exacted as depicted in the pictures. The host communicated all the information we needed to easily and efficiently check in and out - and even responded to a couple questions mid-stay very quickly! Our stay was great and would stay here again!

The property's location to all amenities was ideal, and the space has lots of character. I wish the lack of available parking / solutions had been more visible on the listing. Our only complaint with the room itself is very minor, and that is that the temperature of the lightbulbs is extremely harsh and hard on the eyes, especially because of the way they line up from the eyeline of the bed. Comfort would go from a 4 to a 5 if the lights were simply replaced with softer, warmer bulbs. Overall a great stay!

Historic feeling on the edge of the Quarter. Historic pipe noises, too--but you get used to that!

Loved the location of this property. Nice to have the balcony. It did get a lot of street noise but that was expected being that it is in the heart of NOLA.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property, the entire process, from booking to the actual stay was seamless. Would definitely visit this property again.

Property looked exactly like the pictures. Lots of room! GREAT location. Within walking distance of everything. Balcony great place for morning coffee and people watching at night! Host very responsive to any questions. We had a wonderful time in New Orleans!!

The shared laundry was 3 feet away and very convenient. Recommended improvements: provide linens for pull out sofa bed, and replace balcony furniture which has torn up seats that cannot be used. Also, plan to spend about $50 per day extra on local parking if you have a vehicle.

We enjoyed our stay and the location is wonderful! The apartment is nice and big, and plenty of room for the 5 of us that stayed. I cannot say enough good things about this listing. The loft was beautiful, the balcony was great for people watching, and the location was ideal! The check-in process was the easiest I've dealt with and the manager was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely stay here again when in New Orleans!

We absolutely loved everything about this place! It’s close to everything, super clean and crazy adorable. I have stayed in many places over the years and this was by far, my favorite. Great communication, easy check in and check out. I couldn’t ask for more! I will no doubt stay here again ❤️

Easy to reach from highway and close to good food. Room was spacious and clean. Parking was a bit pricey but not in control of the owner.

The property was just as expected. Clean and comfortable, close to Canal and within walking distance to restaurants, etc. Scott was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

My husband, two kids, and I were excited to stay in New Orleans for the first stop on our lengthy road trip to Disney and back. My kids are 2 & 4 and we put that in our booking. There was nothing listed about no children allowed or only certain ages. After 16 hours in the car, my kids were understandably excited to be out of it and running through the room. The nail salon below (whose fumes were abundant, by the way) complained about the noise so much that we received 3 phone calls within the first 45 minutes of being there and the threat to cancel the booking and put us on the streets for the night. In the meantime, I reviewed all my communication and the listing again and found nothing about the kids not being allowed and my husband who is a firefighter and well versed in fire inspections proceeded to inspect the apartment which had many violations. We found an e-cig in the couch my kids were now trying to sit calmly on, black mold in the bathroom, faulty smoke detectors, etc. We went out for the night and returned after the salon was closed and left in the morning before it was open just so we had a place to stay, but we will not return. It left a sour taste in my mouth on the whole city. If I could give zero stars, I would.
