Situated in Guntersville Lake, this lovely house for $272 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Open concept with hardwood floors throughout. Convenient to local restaurants and shops. Guntersville State Park is approximately 5 miles away. Boat ramp is about 1 mile away. Relax in the open kitchen/living area or the screened in porch. If sun is what you are looking for then there is a sun deck down at the boathouse. The Cabin also has several open decks to enjoy the outdoors. The Cabin can sleep up to 7 people. There's a queen size bed in the master bedroom and four twin beds in the other 2 bedrooms. Use of the Boathouse is included with The Cabin. You will have access to 1 large boat slip with an electric lift for your use. There are tie ups available on the outside of the boat house. There is power and water at the boat house. Owner is not responsible for personal injury or property damage but you are welcome to utilize the boat house and decks. Swim at your own risk. Paste https://youtu.be/8Q9fA1h5lQg into your browser for an example of storing your trailer. The boat and watercraft toys (skis, tubes, kneeboards, etc..) are NOT available for use. You must contact us directly and receive confirmation prior to using the kayaks or fishing tackle. The rental rate is $20 for each kayak for the duration of your stay and can be invoiced thru VRBO or paid via Paypal. However, the Lily Pad, life jackets, and floats are for your enjoyment. Water level at the boathouse is around 4-5 feet. No diving.

The cabin was like a second home. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The big open kitchen den and seating at the island made for good family time. The Generac was super handy because a car accident made the power go off on Friday night. I appreciated the blankets, the dog couch covers, and the small heaters in each bathroom, and the screened in porch. It was just what I wanted out of a family gathering space for thanksgiving and football watching.

A group of 4 fishermen with two boats stayed 4 nights. The only situation was backing our boat trailers off the narrow road into the driveway, but with a little practice it turned out to be okay. The house is great. Very clean and had all of the amenities that you can ask for to have a very enjoyable stay. Would gladly stay again. Highly recommend this cabin.

The house is absolutely adorable and in a great location. We didn’t have much downtime but when we did we enjoyed the outdoor space and the lake. If we ever find ourselves in that area again we will definitely rent again.

The kids enjoyed the games on the screened in porch. There was even a toy there the infant liked, a stuffed black and white bear. The adults and older children loved the boat house and being able to kayak from there (we brought our own). The barbecue area was comfortable and great for conversation. The chairs on the rock stairs were nice for some meditation time. The island in the kitchen was good for meal prep. My only regret is that we didn’t stay 3 or 4 days instead of 2,

This property is exactly like the pictures. The house was very clean and comfortable. Any questions I had were answered very quickly through the VRBO app. The lily Pad got a lot of use. This house is located farther down the cove and the water isn’t very deep. With our visit in the middle of July there were some weeds but it didn’t stop us from swimming! Great family place to stay and room to spread out.

We had a 3 night stay for Father’s Day weekend. We were there for a baseball tournament and my dad and husband brought their boat and fished. It was perfect! The house was very clean and accommodating. The kitchen was very well stocked with any type of cooking utensils, pots/pans, casserole dishes and even storage containers. We are usually looking to find something that is even usable for cooking, but not in this kitchen. The screened in porch was a nice place to sit outside and enjoy any type of weather. We have stayed in multiple vrbo houses and this one was by far our favorite. Highly recommend this place.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. The house was exactly what we needed. Very clean. Great location. Well stocked. Perfect to escape the diamond and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Would love to return if we play at Sand Mountain again.

When your children leave the nest, you think of how to stay close. So we found this nest! It’s a fantastic place, pristine and completely equipped. We fished, kayaked, played games, made meals, hiked, played tennis, visited a dog park, attended an art festival and dined at a couple of amazing restaurants. We also relaxed by the water and marveled at God’s creation. I wish I could give more than five stars. As we drove away, I learned of the sudden death of an extended family member. My immediate thought was to make the most of the time we have and make good memories. I thank the owners for allowing us to do this.

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be interested in staying again. My only complaint was that the water was so low, it made using the dock for my boat difficult. However, I don’t believe this is the norm.

This was the perfect place for our family to gather for Christmas. We live in Auburn and our three adult children all live in different places. One in oak Grove, Kentucky. So this place was perfect to cut down on driving time. The views were beautiful and plenty of space to cook and be involved in what family was doing while in the kitchen due to the open concept. It felt like home. Didn’t need for anything. Everything was there. Would definitely book again

This house had everything we needed for our big family gathering for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was very clean, bedding was comfortable, located close to state park and fun fishing from the boathouse. Would definitely recommend!

Looked over several properties, wanted a boat house, close to the water and this property has it all. Love the decks, screened in poarch, comfortable beds, house very well stocked with comfortable bedding. The kitchen is very user friendly and the open concept keeps you involved with everyone. Highly recommend staying here

Clean, quiet, scenic lake view. House is thoughtfully stocked withh luxurious towels, high quality linens, cooking appliances. Boat house slip available for use. Pet friendly. Hosts were attentive and quick to respond to texts and emails. Hosts proactively taking steps to reduce water grass around the dock area. Great place for a vacation getaway!
