Whether you’re ready for a day on the lake, a hike around scenic Tubbs hill, or just want to stroll down Sherman avenue (hello, restaurants, bars, shops, and breweries!) you’ll find it all within half a mile of our front door. At the Ida-Hygge adventure is never far away. You are just a block from the downtown scene, but tucked into a quiet street that offers premium relaxation potential. If golf is your thing you can check out the award winning floating green golf course that’s only 5 minutes away. Silverwood theme park is a quick 30 minute drive north. For the winter months you are within an hour drive of multiple world class ski mountains. The House: We’ve designed this place from the ground up with guests in mind. This 1910 craftsman has an old soul with all fresh accessories, and offers everything from multiple chill zones, to a bistro lit outdoor space with a fire table. The Ida-hygge has two large living rooms, perfect for everyone to gather. And when you’re ready to give your group the old Irish goodbye? Head to any of the five bedrooms, all equipped with snuggly beds to optimize your rest and relaxation. This house has an excellent location and was the perfect fit for our family reunion of 12 people. It was kid friendly for our 6 kids (ages 2-8). The house is very well decorated and has everything you could possibly need! Highly recommend!

Beautifully decorated and spotless house. Everything was provided, plus extras. The beds, pillows and sheets were perfection. No problems with anything, they accommodated us for early check-in, communication was seamless and very fast. We walked to the lake one day, nice neighborhood and resturants.

The location was perfect for a bachelorette party going downtown. The VRBO was fully stocked with all the necessities. Communication was on point. Very welcoming and the outside patio was perfect. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room. I would totally book this again.

Our father just turned 88 and this was a perfect place for us to all stay together under one roof to spend time with him and each other. Each room was large and the beds were super comfortable, so the home was perfect for everyone to relax and hang out in all the different spaces. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this home! It’s an old house but there are so many updates it feels new and modern. The beds were comfortable, great backyard with lots of room for everyone to sit around the fire or play games, lots of sunlight, great family spaces, cute front porch with swing and much more. Our group of 11 fit great and we really enjoyed our stay. It’s just a few blocks from the lake which is where we spent most of our time. I think the only downside was there is no dishwasher and we had such a big group it would’ve saved a lot of time to have one. Other than that this place is an absolute gem.

We had 2 families staying here together and there was plenty of spaces to hang out - kids and adults - together and separate ... Kitchen and Bathrooms were stocked, house is well appointed and adorable. Clean, close to everything and just an all around great and easy going vibe. Would def stay here again and highly recommend! !

We had such a wonderful family vacation at the Idahygge! The house was just as described - beautiful interior and furnishings, cozy beds, and walkable to everything CDA has to offer. We’ll be back!

The house was spotless, the linens fresh, the beds super comfy, bathroom shower/tubs updated nicely, and the host was very responsive from inquiry to checkout -- all providing a great framework for our family gathering of 6 adults and 7 children. The backyard "outdoor room" was perfect with it's firepit, BBQ grill, games, and seating area. Kitchen storage and prep area was quite suitable (would have liked a dishwasher, but vacation paper goods came to the rescue). The lower level served as another great game and gaming area for the 7 cousins to hang out together. We hope to return to the area and would love to stay at the same location. Thank you, Charli.

This home is a cozy, spacious and beautiful gem located just 3 blocks from a great lakeside resort community bursting with life. Great walks, hikes, bike rides, every water activity imaginable, numerous pubs and many tasty food choices abound out the Ida Hygge’s front door. After a great day exploring this Northwest wonder, you can return with your family and friends to enjoy some time to grill, chill and chat in the handsome backyard space. We (8 of us) loved our stay here!

This house is amazing. Very comfortable. Lots of room to spread out. Walking distance to downtown and the lake. Great craftsman house that's been perfectly restored with modern amenities. We'd love to come back. One of the best rentals that we've ever had.
