Disgusting, below expectations

Nothing

Nothing, the parking is not ideal for a car, was not that save. Sam take us to a bad location, nothing worked, the shower don't even work, the toilet was leaking. It was not even in a save area. I am highly dissappoint in a waste of money.

Dissapointed

Eventhough i was not happy, the Host (Sam) was very helpful and friendly. I give him 10 out of 10 for being a good host.

I phoned the host little after 13h00 and asked if my lift could drop me off a little early because book in is only at 14h00. The host said that the room would only be available at 15h00, i told him that my lift cant wait till then cause she needs to get back to Brackenfell. I said i can just sit somewhere in the building and wait then, the host then said he is going to send me an adress where i can go sleep for the night and go to my booked room the next morning, he also said that that place is actually an upgrade of what i booked, he made it sound good so i said okey When i arrived at the adres he sent me my heart almost stopped, this was no area for a white woman alone, the lady that opened for me also said that this place is an upgrade of where i was originally booked. When i stepped inside i wanted to run away and said to her that if this is a upgrade of the other place i really dont want to see the other place. This place was disgusting dirty. ( Have photos as proof) There was also still vingernails lying on the floor of the previous people. When the host arrived there i explained to him that i was not happy with this area and room and that i wanted to cancel or want to be recruited to another area, he said to me he doesnt have a problem and that i must sort it out with booking.com. I then phoned and spoke to 2 people first a man that sounded as if he was going to help me but then somehow he either put the phone down or we got cut off then i phoned again and spoke to a lady that was actually very rude and not understanding my dalema, told me i must go back to the area and the room that i orginally booked and that she can not cancel it if i dont go to the room.. By this time i was in tears and very frustrated and just left the whole situation as is. I was tired of trying to explain to a hardheaded woman that does not know the areas herself and dont have any compassion for a human being.

Safe comfortable and convenient accommodation

Very comfortable. Fridge kettle an microwave with plates etc. Tea coffee and sugar

Parking was tight. Bur we managed by moving cars every morning

Sam is the Man !!!

The Host / Owner Sam was amazing , great guy and takes care of you should you need anything. The facilities was great value for money, definitely worth the stay and would stay there again , highly recommending this stay to others Close to transport , century city mall which is a plus sign for anyone looking to have convenience of having to be out late and come and go as you please as you have access to the main gate with your own key and don't have to worry about anything , knowing you're safe.

No motorized gate remote for the gate, the keys gave me hell to open both gates. The host never showed up Only realized there was a gyser switch in my room when I had to shower, no one told me about this No back up lights during load shedding A reception is definitely necessary at the guest house

The stay was average

Their beds are comfortable, the area is a quite place

The room had no fan as stated and it was very hot one window is not enough for ventilation the instant shower tap is not on, because when you dnt have electricity you can't take a bath, no back up light or candle was provided for loadshedding, the area is a bit further to the city and most central attractions

Holiday Feedback

People were friendly and quick to sort out the problems that we encountered.

Secured parking is a problem. Actually they don't have enough parking, bigger cars have to park outside and that's the problem.

Good

There were a few issues with the place initially but the manager responded swiftly and helped us almost immediately. The stay was very nice for the value of the two nights. Comfortable quiet environment.

At first the one unit's toilet and fridge was not working but the problem was solved quickly.

Pleasant, clean and efficient.

The host,Sam was very eager to assist and was really professional

There was problem with my show and Sam came up with an immediate solution and sorted it. Sam also took the trouble to come to my flat and explain how the TV system works.
