Situated in Okaloosa Island, this attractive condo for $342 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Indulge yourself in this beautifully decorated and renovated condo, Pelican L03. It is the prime spot for your vacation only a few steps from all the fun. The Lanai level location is the best you can get at the resort. Having a split level patio allows you to use the Tiki bar, loungers, and table/chair set right out of the sliding door. On the lower level you will enjoy a gas grill and bar area to make a meal and have drinks ready just steps away from the fun. Adults and kids will enjoy the accessibility that this condo has to allow for a great vacation. You can watch your kids pass on the lazy river right from your own lanai level unit. You can’t get anything better than that! This condo boosts beautiful beach décor that you will love. It feels like a vacation when you walk through the door. All floors of the condo are ceramic/porcelain, which is great being so close to all the water fun. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. You can eat by the bar or on the beautiful table set. The living room has a large 60 in flat screen television to enjoy while seated on either a sofa or love seat, both of which turn into a queen sofa bed and a twin bed love seat. The master bedroom is spectacular with a king size bed and views of the lazy river and pools. The master bath is very spacious with a jetted tub and separate shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and located right next to the hall bathroom. This bedroom is very unique since it has a twin bunk bed over the queen, so if you need extra sleeping accommodations or just like to have a child close to you this is a great bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has a pirate theme and will be your kiddos favorite place to rest after a long day in the water. The bunk beds, full on bottom and twin on top, are great for kids to teens to have their own special place. All the bedrooms have flat screen tv’s and dvd players for your enjoyment! The 700 foot long, 10 foot wide, and 4 foot deep lazy river with a man made current passes by right in front of your lanai level condo. You can watch the kiddos enjoying themselves as they pass. This Bayside Resort also has a Waterfall pool, Zero entry pool, and 2 large community hot tubs to have more fun. The beach side of the resort has one of the largest pools on the island and also a partially shaded pool that you can use. For the little kiddos the sprinkle play area is always a hit. The beach and emerald waters are also one of the many things to do at the Destin West Resort.. The sky bridge connecting the bayside and gulf side areas of the resort is a great for easy transitions from lazy river area to beach fun. Within walking distance of: John Beasley Park Okaloosa Island Boardwalk/Fishing Pier with a variety of shops and restaurants Gulfarium Live Marine Adventure Park Crab Island Excursions, Boat and Jet Ski rentals 20 minutes from VPS and 12 from DTS Airports

The resort is in a perfect location. Restaurants, shopping, activities and nightlife all within walking distance. WalMart is a short drive for grocery pickup. Owners quickly responded to any inquiries. Condo was roomy and clean. Highly recommend this condo!

Very nice and clean, had everything we needed to cook, pots, pans, dishes, utensils. Right out the balcony is access to the lazy river and pools, had a grill, a bar and lots of patio furniture to sit comfortably on while watching your family swim. Beautiful lovely and very relaxing.

Everything was great except for the washer quite working our first day. Very inconvenient and disappointing. I reached out twice but both reaponses were "have to ask" to ask their manager. We never received any calls or text. The 2nd bathroom shower curtain had mold. This was our 3rd year at the resort but first time with Vrbo owners and was not impressed with service and up keep.

Beautiful property - clean and very roomy! We loved the outside patio and direct access to the lazy river.
Kitchen is well equipped, but bring ANY food, drinks and toiletries with you. There are no spices and condiments in the unit. You will be supplied with 1 roll of toilet paper, small bar of soap, and small tubes (1 each) of shampoo, conditioner and lotion per bathroom. I usually bring my own toiletries, but for those of you who don't, you will be in short supply. It would have been nice to have had a stocked coffee bar.
Beach, pier and boardwalk is a 5 minute walk away (can be accessed by crossing the skybridge). There are shops and restaurants with amazing ocean views, and we had a huge full moon over the water this week!
Property owner quick to respond to inquiries, friendly and professional. We had a great time and look forward to our next stay!

First time visiting the area or Destin West Condos. We arrived about 6 pm on our check in day. First impression of the exterior of site looked good. While walking up the stairs to unit, noticed dirty walls, door frames, handles in the stair well and the front door of condo. Once inside, unit had a slight odor, door frames on entrance man Door, sliding door to patio, bathroom doors all were dirty. Floors the same and sticky, I spent 2 hours wiping down everything for my own comfort. Found gum stuck to ceiling, dirty air intakes. Which I cleaned. The dishwasher had a very foul smell, to say it was bad is an understatement. It had cuncks of food in the bottom, the soap wrapper and the water in the bottom was disgusting. I called and left a message and had a return call next day. I cleaned and ran the dishwasher a few times to get it back on track. When. The management company called, I told them the issues. They offered to send a cleaning person back to clean the floors. Had to make the bunk beds for our kids ourselves because it is off season
Also they said the unit was vacant for a month and thag was likely the reason for the odo in the dishwasher and the unit. They said they were going to have it freshened up but the lock to the unit was malfunctioning and had to have a lock smith come out.
I told them it was fine and that I would take care of it. I took pictures and left the unti ( as we normally do) better than we found it. These issues are more of issues I put on the 3rd party contracted cleaning company. I am sure the fact that they only care about doing the minimum, things get missed and overlooked.
They closed the pools and hot tubs at 9pm, which we were told and the signs say 10 pm but whatever.
Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed the unit, facilities and area. Would have been happier if I didn't spend 3 hours cleaning thing to my satisfaction. But heck, good help has been hard to find and now any help is hard to find. Would stay again and hope for a better overall experience. Happy New Year!!

The location couldn't be any better and the lanai is extremely convenient with having children. I hate elevators and didn't have to step foot on one our entire vacation.

Wonderful week with family
This property met and exceeded our expectations. Property was well-equipped, very clean, and perfectly located for our extended family of 10, ages ranging 9 - grandparents! The lanai was perfect for relaxing and spending time together rain or shine with direct access and view of the lazy river. Access to the beach was an easy few minutes walk, and the provided wagons and beach chairs was a plus! The property management team was very responsive to our questions both before and during our stay. The rooms and closets are spacious, with drawer storage in each room. Consider bringing hangers if you prefer to hang your clothes for the week. Our only suggestion for the property would be for there to be additional mirrors added to the bedrooms to give additional places for guests to use outside of the two bathrooms. With there being 10 of us showering and getting ready to go out for dinner, 2 bathrooms tended to get congested waiting for mirror time.
Overall we had a great week and would definitely recommend this property. We hope to return soon!

Great Condo. We had 2 Adults and two teens. We had a minor issue when we arrived but properly management was quick to respond and resolve! Beach access is quick and the pool is steps away. We will be back.

I usually stay on the Gulf side of Okaloosa Island, but was unable to find a suitable property. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the condo online, and extremely impressed upon arrival. The 2-story lanai is absolutley gorgeous, overlooking the lazy river. The condo was well furnished and the kitchen had all of the elements you would need for a southern cook. This condo sold me on staying on the soundside of Okaloosa Island. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice Winter Get A Way
It was a little cold during our stay but the heated pools and hot tubs kept morale up for our teens. The building faces the bay and protected us from the wind. The view of the palms, the pools and the bay was visually pleasing and a much needed respite from home. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The manager answered our phone call promptly when we had a question. We would stay again.

Great vacation spot for families
We loved our stay, the amenities were great. The walk out access to the heated pools were awesome. It was pretty cold during our stay but we were still able to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The walk to the beach is a little bit of a trek, but with the wagons they provide to carry Beach stuff is not to big of a deal.

Our family stayed at this condo over Thanksgiving. We booked last minute basically and it turned out great. It has a very nice grill and we grilled steaks one night. The kitchen had all the supplies needed to cook meals. The kids loved the lazy River and heated pool that was steps outside the door. The beach was a bit of a walk for us but did go crabbing each night. There was chairs/umbrella to rent on the beach during the day.
We had a small issue and the owner was very quick to respond and it was resolved no problem and was much appreciated. Very glad to have stayed here!
