About this house rental
Situated in Isle of Palms, this lovely house for $1,156 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Isle of Palms home with pool, beach, shops, and restaurants all at your fingertips! This beautiful home comfortably sleeps 14, with 7 spacious bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms! Enjoy a private neighborhood pool. The Pavilion Place neighborhood pool is located directly behind the house and is shared with only six private homes. Walk to the beach; you are one block from beach access and from restaurants and shops on Front Beach! Front Beach is famous for it’s world-famous Windjammer, dozens of restaurants, ice cream shops, novelty stores, as well as events and festivals throughout the year. On the second level you will find a light filled great room with combination living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The two bedrooms are down a short hall located just off the kitchen. The queen bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom has a king with a shared (hall) bathroom. Each of these bedrooms include a TV with Roku (Xfinity/Comcast is the provider). The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter-tops, and 2 breakfast bars with a total 8 bar stools. Just off the kitchen is a large dining table seating 8. The living room is open and bright with a large flat screen TV, with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone! Off the living room is a covered deck, with table and chairs, take in the sea air. The third floor features 5 spacious bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a laundry center. All bedrooms have a TV with Roku (Xfinity/Comcast is the provider). This is an elevated beach house with easy garage parking under the house. This home provides a gas grill (Propane tanks may be exchanged at our office during business hours) and an outdoor shower. Fireplace is not for guest use. Please no pets or smoking. Linens and WiFi included. Shared pool direct behind the home and has a gate code provided at check in. Our group of friends booked this property for our annual Friendsgiving trip and it was PERFECT! The house was very roomy and in a perfect location. Some earlier reviews said the kitchen lacked some of the essentials for preparing meals but it appears those concerns were addressed as we found the kitchen lacking for nothing! It had plenty of cookware and utensils. We would definitely book again!

Great stay with friends. Plenty of space to spread out. Walk to everything, even the beach! Only draw back was the pool closes on October 15th, which we weren't aware of when booked. It was in the 80's and we couldn't use it.

Overall, the week was excellent. The weather was perfect. The house location/proximity to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants & bars is fantastic. You can even hear the bands from The Windjammer if you're outside. What needs some focus/help is the kitchen area.....very few kitchen items to work with when putting together meals....nothing that a quick Target run by the owner couldn't fix:) Additionally, the pool light wasn't on the entire time we were there. I reached out and was told that was an HOA issue, not rental company issue. I understand the response, but it's not helpful to us renters. I would've expected the rental company to get with the HOA to have it handled. There are no posted times anywhere for the pool, so it would be assumed that you could use it after dark. Kids love the pool. But once the sun sets at 8:30pm, it's unsafe. This needs correcting. What can't be directly fixed is the lack of 'hang space' for adults. The deck is tiny, and since there are no pool lights you can't hang out there.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house. Lots of things we really loved. However, we were disappointed we were not given a few extra towels. Also, when we vacation we like to cook and eat in. This kitchen did not have appropriate tools to do so therefore we were forced to eat out. We would have loved better and more pots and pans as well as a crock pot or two.

The house was a good layout for 5 couples. We had two twin bdrms that weren’t needed. Parking for 4-5 vehicles. Need more kitchen utensils and knives and more pots and pans if you are cooking for a large group.
April is a great time of year here but the party crowds in neighboring houses made things a little loud. In the summer it might mean late, sleepless nights.

- maximum guests stated 16 yet there was only beds for 14!-more kitchen towels could have been provided!-maintenance was quick to respond to our slow bathtub Drain and Tv with lines running throw it. Tv was replaced.- pair of women’s underwear was found on staircase when we arrived.-toilet seat in downstairs bath off hallway was loose, I tightened with screwdriver!It’s a beach house and I understand, but it could use some tlc in a few areas. Kitchen cabinets, wood floors. Toilet paper holder in bathroom missing. Knob on washer pulls off when you want to start it, should be fixed!When I reported the women’s underwear on the stairwell I was told that the cleaning people probably dropped it after gathering items left behind!!! Not a good answer!!!! Just glad I found it and not my grandkids!Overall we enjoyed the house!

The only issue (that probably can’t be fixed) is that the house could stand to have a larger porch. We all love to sit outside & talk & laugh & such! Otherwise, the place was close to perfect!

We loved our stay at Isle of Palms! We were walking distance to the beach as well as food. Plus catching a ride with Uber was very simple!
The property was spacious for our group which was made up of married couples and single friends. We each had our own space and never felt on top of each other.
We opted to eat at the house most meals so we brought our own food. The kitchen has items to cook, but we did end up washing a lot of dishes to be ready for the next meal. So if you plan on cooking you may want to come prepared.
We had no issues with our stay, and would love to visit again!

Great location. Great gathering space. Lots of kitchen items to cook with. Upon our arrival, there was no heat on the main floor, as it was cold out. It took over an hour to speak to a person, not in India or one who hung up on us, before we could attempt to rectify the situation. It was fixed, but there needs to be a better process for immediate issues.

The property is in a good location however I would not rent this home again. 1) The 7th bedroom (twin beds) located on the 2nd floor really isn’t a true bedroom. It doesn’t have a closet and you have to go to one of the rooms to access the bathroom. 2) The carpets in the bedrooms are quite dirty and need to be cleaned. 3) the jack and Jill bathroom only one of the sinks worked. The other was clogged and the water in shower took forever to drain. The house has potential but needs some updating and a good cleaning.

Had a great experience staying at this home in Isle of Palms. Every room was clean and there were appliances/glassware available for usage. The shared pool was great when we took beach breaks and each time we had the pool to ourselves. Would certainly recommend this property to others.

This is an ideal location for walking, biking or taking a golf cart to the beach/shops/restaurants. Slept 3 families easily. Allowed early check in - property managers communicated promptly. Just an FYI there are no beach towels and they were strict on the 10am check out which is very early and can be challenging.

All in all it was fine although bathrooms were pretty grimy and shower curtains were seriously mildewed. Not a long walk to the beach, which are beautiful. Porch not big enough for more than 2-3 people and community pool was not maintained very well.

The location of the house was the best thing about this rental. Short walk to the beautiful beach and some restaurants. Also, very close to Sullivan's Island and downtown Charleston. The house is in need of some major updates especially on the first level. The hardwood floors are very worn and the house could use a fresh coat of paint. The floors do not look like the picture at all. The second level floors were so much better. The balcony is small and needs to be painted. There was trash under the steps walking up to the front door which was so unappealing. The rugs in the bedrooms need to be replaced or cleaned better. We had two shower heads replaced in two of the bedrooms and a sink unclogged in one of the bedrooms.The ice maker was broken and the dishwasher wouldn't stay closed. Island Realty was awesome and was very quick to respond. I wish I had requested that 3 of the shower curtains be replaced too because they had mildew on the bottom. Some of the blinds in the bedrooms were broken too. It seems the owner doesn't take pride in his rental home which is a shame because the location of the house is great and the house just needs some tlc.

Great location for families with little kids- beach, pool, playground and lots of restaurants in walking distance. Plenty of room and beds in the house. Bare bones without any extras- 1 towel per bed, no beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, salt and pepper etc. Definitely more a rental company run vibe than family run. Rental company didn't answer phone calls or vrbo msg prior to arrival, had to text to get response. Was not as clean as expected (sand on floor when checked in, cigarette butts all over the driveway and a few on the way up the entrance stairs, a lot of pots and pans needed to be washed before using, bathroom rugs hadn't been cleaned). Overall though was very affordable for the area and we had a nice time! Would book again, just not luxury.

The house was very large. It accommodated everyone. The furniture was old and outdated. The white sheets in one of the bedrooms had stains on it. There was also a lot of bugs. The housekeeping supervisor was very rude. They do not allow for late checkout even though they advertise that you can ask for it. Someone was supposed to call me before I checked out from Management to discuss issues and I never received a call. Otherwise, we made the best of our stay, great location, minutes away from the beach. Lastlt, one of the guest left her engagement ring and it was shipped back to her, so that was honest of them.

We really enjoyed the location of the house. It was near the beach and close to the little town area. When reading about the house we were excited that all of the bedrooms had TVs but were very disappointed when we couldn't watch anything. I spoke to the maintenance department several times and each time he said that he would contact the owner to get pin information or information on how to watch the TV. He never did. We also had to deal with a leak from one of the showers down to the eating area. The small bedroom was a little disappointing. Really was not much of a room. Might have been nice for small children but there was not a bathroom that was located centrally for the small bedroom. We did have a wonderful time and will definitely visit the area again.

This house was infested with cockroaches. It ruined our vacation. Completely unacceptable. There were so many roaches we are concerned some will come home with us in our luggage. Every time we made a meal or were hanging out in the kitchen we saw one. House was not clean. Appliances did not work. We saw a rat by the trash cans. Poor experience overall for a pricey house.

Comfortable place that affords fun with great friends. Home sleeps 5 couples in fine style, with private bathrooms for each bedroom. Communal pool in center of multiple neighborhood homes provides good space for relaxing, as well. Three items that could be better:1. Though there were tv sets in each bedroom (plus the living room, of course), we had no luck getting them to work. Help!2. Small porch off of living room is too tight for a group of our size to sit outside together.3. Beds are squeaky and need attention.Overall, good value.

The location of the house is great with just a short 5 minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of plates and cups for guests to utilize. There's a few broken blinds here and there that need to be replaced as well as warped pots and pans. Overall, the house is adequate. Needs a pool table or something as it was lacking amenities. Pool closes mid October so expect to hear neighbors enjoying their own personal pool while you sit outside on the tiny deck of this house. There's little to no outdoor space at this house.
