Adorable cottage so close to the sugary sands of South Haven’s North Beach you can hear and see the waves. Absolutely stunning lake views from the deck and a quick walk to the beach or back to the house for snacks/drinks/etc. No need to load up the car or stick to one schedule. Lightning fast internet and a portable desk included if remote work is required. Don’t underestimate the fact that there are No hills to the beach and No stairs to the beach! Three bedrooms, 2 full updated bathrooms, plus an exterior 3rd full bathroom. Fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials and two parking spots on site! Don't waste any time driving around looking for parking. Fresh towels/crisp linens provided. Guests bring beach towels/beach chairs/umbrella. This place was top notch!
Adorable from the get-go!
Sunset Mimosa comes with all the ingredients to make your own! Super quick trot down to the beach to enjoy the sand, sun and surf!
Bedrooms were great - comfortable beds, plenty of storage for our things!
Bathrooms - also plenty of room and storage - and the nice addition of fabulous shampoos/conditioners, body wash was a great bonus.
Kitchen - appliances were new and clean and there is just about any pot/pan/dish you need there!
Living area - spacious and comfortable - games and books for those who want to partake.
Patio area - furniture was comfy! Loved the lights that hung above and the fire table! Great place to read books and sip your morning coffee.
Grill was great- we brought steaks for one of our dinners and it was nice to eat out on the patio!
Outside bathroom - what a fun surprise!
Spiral stairs - yes, they are narrow, but I got a pack and play and a big exercise ball up those stairs (among other things)_ with no problem.
Would 100% recommend. We are plotting dates to come again next year and stay longer!

The location is great and the house is well stocked but the circular stairs are pretty onerous and there were some slight cleanliness issues.

We had a wonderful time. The house was located close to the beach. We watched sunsets from the master bedroom balcony. Home was clean and comfortable. Our beds were cozy, sheets were soft, plenty of towels and toiletries. The stairs are narrow, which was not a problem for us, just something to keep mind with kids under three and older folks. We definitely enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Thanks for everything.

Great location - steps to the beach and walkable to town. Well equipped, nice outdoor seating on the first level as well as the second floor deck.
The spiral stairs were narrow and steep. It was difficult to move luggage to the second floor and back down. Watch your step!

Very nice cottage. Close to beautiful beach. Lots of amenities. Very tight circular staircase to upstairs. It was fine for us but might be difficult for older people or people with very small children. However there is first floor bedroom and bathroom. Overall, very nice place!

Had an excellent time. The spiral staircase is no joke. Very steep and narrow but I was aware of that before I got there. Thankfully I could stay in the downstairs bedroom since I was recovering from foot surgery. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Loved the big master bedroom with view of the lake. Had most everything we could think of. Games, beach items, etc. The sunset mimosas were a very nice touch. Would definitely rent here again if we choose to vacation in South Haven in the future.

This property was perfect for our couples getaway! Everything in the house was updated with great style. Appliances seemed very new. Beds and other furniture were very comfortable. Outdoor space was perfect for gathering around the fire table on a clear fall evening. Kim was a very responsive, friendly, and welcoming host. Definitely would not hesitate to book this place again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunset Mimosa. Very clean, tidy, and cute! My elderly grandma (87), parents, husband, and 2 children (2 & 7 months) fit comfortably. Property manager answered every single text in such a timely manner. It is just steps from the beach and playground on the beach (bonus for the kids!). We hope to visit again!!!

The best ever
This is the best VRBO property we've booked so far. The house is very upgraded. Starting from the coffee machine and TV soundbar, towels, soaps, pillows, etc., everything is luxurious. The location is extremely convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Kim for providing Mimosa ingredients! We'll try to book for the next summer in advance.

We played on the beach and watched the sunsets each evening. Downtown is nearby as well will lots of shops and restaurants. There is a great little coffee shop, Bunde's just around the corner for breakfast. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked and had everything we needed. The house was extremely clean and lots of amenities. The only warning is the very steep spiral staircase may not be safe for toddlers, but with our older kids was fine! We loved the location super close to the beach and all the decor. Kim is also an amazing host and super responsive. Highly recommend!

Perfect first visit to South Haven
Our family had a great time at the house! It’s a very short walk to the beach (even our 3 year old could do it easily)! Spiral staircase is tight, but my husband was able to get a full size suitcase up and our kids were slow and careful and had no problems with it. We had one minor issue and the owner responded quickly to help us fix it. Everything was clean and updated. Upstairs bathroom was large and perfect for sharing with many family members. We also enjoyed the short walk to Bunde’s Bakery each morning. Overall a great stay and we may look to rent from here again!

The house was perfect for our stay! It's so close to the beach, super clean and communication with the host was excellent. They were fast to respond and made everything so easy. We really enjoyed the outside sitting area as well.

Perfect for a getaway!
Beautiful, clean, cozy home. Perfect amenities...towels, coffee pods etc. Loved the champagne and orange juice that was left for us to make a round of mimosas! Owner easy to get in touch with too.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay at Sunset Mimosa
What a wonderful property! Sunset Mimosa offers a perfect getaway. Kim has truly thought of everything (including ingredients to make your own Sunset Mimosa drink!) and my sister and I had the most relaxing stay. Kim was also an incredible communicator too, and answered any questions we had. The house is perfectly situated close to North Beach (with views from the bedroom upstairs deck) and is walkable to South Haven downtown (about 15-20 min) for some great restaurants and shops. Plenty of towels, Keurig coffee, and a very comfy large couch for reading/watching TV. Very clean all around, and there were plenty of sleeping options for guests. All in all, we had such a lovely stay there and hope to return in the future. Thank you, Kim!

We had an excellent stay at Sunrise Mimosa with our family. The living space and bedrooms are all spacious and clean, with a kitchen fully stocked with all the cooking equipment essentials. Kim provided excellent hospitality and made us feel very welcome as we celebrated NYE in South Haven

Great Stay in South Haven
We had another property that canceled on us last minute and we're so thankful that this one was available. It's a great place and had plenty of room for us, our 5 yr old, 19 mnth old, and grandma. We were leery of the spiral staircase but it was very sturdy and neither of the kids had an issue with it. As long as we were monitoring him the 19 month old could easily go up and down.
We will stay again if we ever find ourselves in South Haven!
