The beach is only a 10 minute walk from the front door step and Tot Lot Park is only a block away for the kids to play! There are plenty of options to make your stay a memoriable one: go for bike rides, gather for a day on the beach, boat or swim in the lake, take a leisurely walk, watch the sunset, have some ice cream, have one-on-one time with your spouse, play with your children, or sit peacefully out back. This among other activities is just the surface of the crystal waters this Lake Michigan town has to offer! Footprints in the Sand is a vintage Victorian Style Home with a sizable yard and quiet back deck with an entertainment area for your personal enjoyment. The spacious and functional floor plan has a plentiful appeal to meet the needs of a family looking to have amazing memories for many years to come. With four large bedrooms and two full baths the architectural design of the home is the absolute definition of a blissful escape from the troubles of every day life. Additionally, the wrap around front porch is a lovely area to soak in the surroundings of South Haven’s wonderful tree lined neighborhoods, or even watch your children play at Tot Lot Park right down the street! Partake in the stay you and your family deserve. Footprints in the Sand has four (4) spacious bedrooms with two (2) full bathrooms and can comfortably sleep ten. The first floor bedroom has plenty of space, and Queen sized bed, with the downstairs bathroom only steps away. The three upstairs rooms include two Queen sized beds and two sets of bunk beds within one bedroom. The home also offers a huge dining room and living room with gorgeous finished wood floors. It's windows overlook the peaceful streets and allow lots of natural lighting. The interior of the home has a central beach themed focus and this is evident through the custom woodwork, hardwood floors, antique furniture pieces and several notable details throughout. Some other amenities include: central air conditioning/heating, washer/dryer, and a spacious yard for plenty of room for children to play. Footprints in the Sand also has off-street and on-street parking, so there is no need to worry with regards to a parking spot at this location. Our home is available to mature, responsible and respectful families only. We do not rent to guests looking to have a place to party. If you are a group looking to rent a party house, please do not send us an inquiry. Again, we rent our home to families only. We hope you understand and will respect this policy. South Haven is a timeless experience that has been enjoyed for generations. Come stay at Footprints in the Sand and start your own tradition for several years to come! The house was a perfect walking distance to town. The house was perfect and I Loved the wrap around porch. I had a few questions which Anthony answered pretty quickly. I wish we could have had a fire pit but then we probably would have been too loud especially since quiet time in the neighborhood starts at 10pm.

Property as advertised. Very quiet street. Safe, 10 minute walk to the center of town. Too far to walk to the beach with beach stuff but only a 1 mile drive with street parking 1 or 2 blocks from the beach ( if lot is full). South Haven is now golf cart friendly. Reserve a golf cart in advance and you are set. S

The house and property were both very clean and well taken care of. The space was very accommodating for our extended family of 10. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and we were close enough to walk to enjoy the farm market, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed all the space outside for our 4 kids to play, especially the paved driveway! It was a great place to stay and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something quiet and away from the hustle and bustle without being too far!

We just spent Labor Day weekend at Footprints in the Sand with family and friends. It was a great size home for the 10 of us with wonderful closet space and room separation. The backyard was a huge bonus so the kids could run around when not at the beach. It was a short walk to the lovely downtown area but had a full kitchen if you prefer to cook at home. We enjoyed our stay!

This was our first time to South Haven. We had a wonderful time at this home. Loved the porch. Enjoyed drinking coffee and reading a book there. Safe for little ones. Door to upstairs and downstairs. Plenty of room. Kitchen is stocked with what you need. Walking distance to either North or South beach and town. Also walking distance to the Van Haven trail where you can see the bridge that is advertised. We brought our bikes and rode there several times too. There is a small kid park right around the corner that our grandkids enjoyed. Our children had a great time walking to town too.Owners we’re fantastic!

The house was wonderful and very spacious- plenty of room and privacy for our small group. The front porch is the best- a perfect place to relax and listen to the birds while enjoying the pleasant weather. The neighborhood is very quiet and off the beaten path just enough insulate yourself from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area but everything you'd want is fully accessible on foot. We walked to North Beach twice and into the downtown area. We always love South Haven but staying in a quiet residential neighborhood was a first for us and just exactly what we were looking for and what we'll do in the future. Thank you for the short but perfect stay!

The property is very clean, comfortable & updated. We especially liked the wraparound front porch & roomy back porch. The neighborhood is very comfortable with lots of shade. Also appreciated the convenience of downtown & the water. It's a very walkable distance from the property. Would definitely stay here again!

This house was amazing. The house was very clean and well maintained. The backyard featured a big deck and a yard for kids to play in. This house is located 3-4 blocks away from many restaurants, bars and shops. We will definitely be renting again next year.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! It was very clean and spacious for our two families with teenagers. Everything we needed. The location was amazing! Just a short walk (10 mins) to downtown South Haven for all the shops and restraunts, and of course the beaches. The neighborhood was perfect. Very peaceful and quaint. We are already planning on coming back and renting this property again.

We had such a wonderful time in South Haven and this awesome rental home was at the heart of it all. We were surprised how close/walkable we were to town and the beach. We made the walk with 4 kiddos - ages 3 to 11. We would love to come back again. =)

Outside of the heat our stay was amazing. This home is in a peaceful neighborhood and is just a short distance to downtown South Haven. Included everything we needed for the weekend. Sitting on the back deck in the evening was very relaxing. Already talking about booking again in the future.

What a wonderful place, in a great neighborhood to stay. It could have not been any easier to get back and forth to Gingerman Raceway for the race weekend, meanwhile downtown South Haven and the beach is right there too. The extremely attractive home accommodated 7 of us adults quite comfortably. When you stay here, be sure to carve out some time to simply just sit on the porch; it’s wonderful.

This city & cottage are absolute gems. This home is clean, spacious, and in a great location. We enjoyed North Beach, walking down town (10 min walk), and kids corner playground. Maria’s is delicious, and Captain Lou’s has great live music on their patio next to the water.

This property had more than enough bedrooms and space for our two-family getaway. We enjoyed the location to the downtown and the beach. The neighbors were quiet and were tolerating of our loud children who were running outside. There were two things I wished were better: 1) the linens need to be washed or aired out better. I have a dust allergy and i immediately could tell it was dusty inside the house, and 2) there wasn’t cooking oil and we assumed there would be oil at least available. We bought oil and left for the next vacationer. :)
