Vacation at one of the most iconic properties in Delaware - the former home of Dolle's Candyland! Newly renovated in 2021, you can now rent the 2nd floor apartment in the former Dolle's Candyland building located at 1 Rehoboth Avenue. This amazing location features a fully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, non-smoking apartment complete with full kitchen, living and dining areas, sitting directly atop the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, footsteps away from the beach, boutique shopping and unparalleled dining. The apartment features a second living room area with pull-out sofa which can be made private. Including this sleeper sofa, the apartment sleeps a total of 8. **Please note, this property is located on the second flood and requires stairs to gain access to the apartment. There is no elevator available.** Location: This apartment puts you in the very heart of Rehoboth Beach. Sitting at the end of Rehoboth Avenue on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, the apartment provides direct access to the beach (no tags required!) and neighboring staples such as Dolle's Candyland, Grotto Pizza, Thrasher's Fries and Kohr Brothers Ice Cream. Not in the mood to cook in your full kitchen? You have numerous dining options within a block of the hotel, such as Blackwall Hitch, Eden, Back Porch Cafe, Go Brit, Cafe Azafran and Nalu to name a few. Amenities: The apartment's kitchen features a full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher (pods included), glassware, 12-cup coffee maker (coffee not included, filters not needed), toaster and cutlery settings. The kitchen also offers: one ceramic platter, a tea kettle, glass measuring cup, bamboo and silicone serving utensils, hand mixer, ice cube trays, colander, grater, can opener, pizza cutter, tongs, whisks, peeler, wine/bottle opener, scissors and cutting boards. Dish detergent and sponges are also provided. The living areas feature ample seating and 65" and 55" Smart TVs featuring YouTube TV (85 channels included), and access to use your own account for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and other subscription services. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the unit. The unit also features a full-size washer (detergent included), dryer, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Bedding and Bath: There are 3 private bedrooms in the apartment. There are two bedrooms featuring two Twin beds which have a shared bath, and one bedroom featuring a Queen bed with a private bath. The apartment features an additional semi-private living room space offering a full size sleeper sofa. This room can be closed off using the sliding barn doors. Please note, bedding and bath linens ARE NOT included in your rental price but delivery can be facilitated for you - $10.00 per Queen/Full sheet set; $8.00 per Twin sheet set; $8.00 per towel set including a bath towel, hand towel and washcloth. Prices are based per rental, not by day or week. Please let your host know if you will need this additional service - the cost can be added to the rental anytime after the booking is created. Other Important Information: 1. Two parking spots are included with your rental. Parking is located off of Baltimore Avenue underneath the Sirocco Hotel in marked spaces (see photos). 2. The apartment is 100% non-smoking. There is a $500 fine for violating this policy. 3. There is only one entrance/exit to the apartment, which is located off Rehoboth Avenue. Apartment access is located in an alley directly off Rehoboth Avenue. There are a total of 18 steps to climb (including landings) in order to reach the apartment. 4. Bed linens and towels ARE NOT included as part of your rental. These may be rented through your host or through Grand Rental Station (302.227.RENT). 5. There is a loading zone directly outside the alley entrance to the apartment. You may use this space temporarily to unload your belongings into the apartment. 6. Please note, the Dolle's sign atop the building was removed on December 15th, 2021.

The listing photos are 100% accurate. The furniture is modern, the ocean (and sunrise) view from the windows is amazing, and the boardwalk location adds to the fun. Rehoboth off-season (Jan) is peaceful and this rental was a beautiful place to relax after a busy fall. A surprise snowfall added to the beauty - and made us grateful for the garage parking!

What a special experience to stay at the iconic Dolle’s apartment! We were excited with the pictures and description online but we were blown away once we stepped into the condo. So spacious, such nice decor, pristine and comfy furniture. Amazing views and central location too!
And Chris, the property manager, was so attentive and kind. Upon check-in he left a goofy bag of treats and water. He truly went above and beyond.
Our family agreed that this is the best Rehoboth vacation we have had!

This place was great for a quick off-season getaway! It was very clean and the host could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The location was also perfect right in the heart of the boardwalk. We went offseason so not sure if that would actually be worse in the summer because of the crowds but bring a sound machine and you won't hear anything anyway. One of the best VRBOs I've ever stayed in would definitely go back.

We had an amazing stay at One Rehoboth! My husband and I, along with 3 friends, stayed the weekend so we could enjoy our friend's 40th birthday. We absolutely loved the space - such a light, bright decor, so clean, and all the windows allowed you to take in all the beauty of such a rare and unique living space. We loved seeing the sunrise and also the people watching :) . The proximity and walkability to all that Rehoboth has to offer cannot be matched.
There was no noise either- none from the adjacent businesses, nor from the passersby on the boardwalk.
Chris was fanatastic! So welcoming and responsive.
We had the best time and hope to be back soon.

We all needed a break from home/school/work and I found the old Dollies building listing. It was just what we needed. The apartment was inviting with calm colors and bright light and the best view of the ocean. The kids loved the quirky alley entrance and the incredible proximity to the beach. It was a quiet weekend in town and we found a few new favorite spots with the time we had to wander.
Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and over all very clean. It was a wonderful stress free experience.

This was our second visit to this property and will not be our last. We were here to celebrate a special family birthday. The host, Chris, went out of his way to ensure we all had a great time. In addition to the welcome goodies that are included when you pick up your keys, Chris added a beautiful and fun birthday surprise that we saw as soon as we opened the door. The birthday girl loved it!
The location is perfect - right on the boardwalk in the center of everything. We had more family members staying in another location (there were a lot of us!), and we were comfortable walking distance from them and from all of the shopping and restaurants. Your car can have a vacation too, because you don’t need it while staying here!

We stayed for the weekend and were lucky to have amazing weather in November.
I was not that familiar with the area so I was hoping I selected the right place. It is in the heart of town and about 10 feet from the boardwalk which is right next to the beach.
Great time and we will definitely look to book again.
Chris could not have been more accommodating and helpful leading up to and during our stay - just checking in to see what we needed and overall being very welcoming.

We spent 5 days at the apartment and we had wonderful time. Very spacious kitchen and well equipped. 2 living areas and dining room have fantastic view of the beach and ocean. One morning during breakfast, we enjoyed watching dolphins in the ocean. Cannot imagine more relaxing vacation. Plenty of rooms to sleep, comfortable beds, and 2 bathrooms. Chris was ver flexible with our check in and check out which worked so well for us. We would come back here any time.

First things first, Chris was a terrific host; very responsive and accommodating to help make our bachelorette weekend a success. The girls and I all enjoyed ourselves. The unit was meticulously clean, well-decorated and comfortable. It was the perfect location directly on the beach with a great view of the boardwalk and the beach. All in all, it was a great experience & we can’t wait to return.

Our family recently stayed during July 4th week. Rehoboth seemed super family friendly & we enjoyed our time. Many great restaurants and shops within a short walk. Apartment was great. Clean & offered all the amenities a family needs. Chris is fantastic to work with! Very friendly & responsive. He works hard to make a nice experience for renters & I appreciated his efforts.
A couple issues I'm sure he will soon address. Hall bathroom is a bit dated. Floor tile was broken resulting in a hole & pieces that were sharp. We moved the pieces & placed the provided bath rug over top the hole which completely solved the problem for our stay. One of the support legs on the wall-mounted sink moved easily when bumped. We had to be careful not to hit it when walking by & move it back into place when we did hit it. The room could definitely use an update or at least repairs & more sturdy structures. One of the windows right next to one of the twin beds was broken in multiple locations which made us nervous to have our kids sleep next to it. The second room with twin beds had a window that was fully intact so we just had them sleep in there. Overall, none of these issues really impacted our stay.
Some negatives out of Chris' control: VERY loud street cleaner at 5:30AM EVERY SINGLE MORNING. Came at 3:15AM AND 5:30AM one of the mornings. 5:30AM garbage truck 2x week too. So grab your coffee & plan to watch the gorgeous sunrise & take an afternoon nap because you WILL wake up early.

This is a spot where you are definately in the thick of it. It is fun, easy, busy, but more importantly it is just a good time. If you have kids, we have 4 (4, 6,8,&10), be mindful that there is a lot of energy, music, foot traffic during the day and through the night. But if you can manage that and want that, it's a wonderful spot! It took us about 30 second to walk from the gate to the beach... you can use your own bathroom, instead of the public bathroom. Victory!
Kids had a blast, we are tried.. .and that's all that matters!
The propertly is a 5/5, but Chris is 10/5... this made it much easier for us. We had a slight hiccup the first day, but it was remedied very quickly.

Chris is the ultimate host! Very responsive and such attention to detail. Place is exactly as pictured; meticulously clean, organized, tastefully decorated, new everything and in the heart of the boardwalk in Rehoboth. So convenient we could eat, shop or go to the beach all just steps away! The AC worked like a charm and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Three huge TVs so on the rare occasion we were inside, we all could watch what we liked. The extra den was perfect for my daughter’s friends to hang out too. Plenty of room never felt cramped. You should book today!!!

It was a great experience with excellent communication with our host, thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome, and it was even closer to the beach than I thought. Sitting on the couch and looking out the windows, we saw a sweeping view of the entire ocean from the living room.

This was our first visit to Reheboth Beach and that too with a child. We couldn't have asked for a better location, better view, and better stay. We were able to just stay in the room and enjoy the sunrises.
The property was clean, well stocked and extremely convenient. A home while on vacation. A lot of effort has been put into renovating the master bedroom and bath, and living spaces.
We wished the blinds in the smaller bedroom were also room darkening or had curtains. It is loud ( construction and music) until 10 pm and the early morning crew at 5 am. We forgot to bring pins to block the windows for our child's room.
We also hope the host will consider renovating the hallway common restroom. It is the most dated part of the house and in some ways unsafe for a child.
Overall, we had the best stay and now we know a few things that will help us prepare for next time.

One Rehoboth was the perfect selection for our beach get-away. The condo was immaculate, beautifully furnished and perfectly situated. The ocean, beach and boardwalk views were mesmerizing. And, there cannot be a more convenient spot in all of Rehoboth. We walked everywhere and found amazing restaurants and cute boutiques. Communication with the host could not have been any better, as all instructions were very clear and accurate. Our get-away exceeded our expectations and One Rehoboth gets an A++ from us. We hope to return soon.

I am blown away. This property is tastefully decorated and super clean. My daughter and her friends loved it, as did my spouse and I. The property manager, Chris, is absolutely fantastic and communicative. All that plus the history of this building! The views from this apartment are the best in Rehoboth. Ocean views from the front side, plus the boardwalk, the avenue.... Highly recommend!

If you want a great view of the ocean and the action on the boardwalk, this is the spot! The apartment is spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Chris was very accommodating and answered my questions within minutes. Our winter weekend at 1 Rehoboth was both relaxing and easily accessible to all Rehoboth has to offer. We will certainly stay here again!

We love this place! The windows overlooking the ocean are just magical. There is plenty of space with two living area, open concept with kitchen and dining area, and convenient to stroll shops and restaurants. Our second time staying and hope it isn’t the last!

We had an amazing time in this condo; you can not get closer to EVERYTHING!! The beach, the boardwalk, the action, and we were there in January! It was gorgeous inside and so fun that it was where Dolle's once made their candy. A true treat of a condo, location, and experience. We are already planning to return!

The location is perfection! I was able to go out and watch the sun rise with our two youngest while my husband and two oldest slept in. We took long walks on the board walk to breakfast at the Egg or Starbucks each morning. Got to the beach early to claim a prime spot and spend the days in the waves.
The owner was super responsive and friendly. I did see an old review about low water pressure in one of the showers, but it looks like it has been fixed as both showers had great pressure. I highly recommend this rental!
