You will not find a more fascinating and charming home than this, and the location can't be beat! Two bedrooms and 1 bath with 1200 sq feet of living space. Several boat launches located within minutes, and plenty of room to park your vehicles and boat. Dogs are welcome with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Providence Canyon, AKA the Little Grand Canyon of Georgia is approx 20 miles away.

Wonderful views each day, comfortable for a small 4 person group, overall was clean, it was a nice getaway that made you fell like you were not in town. We will visit again.

We loved our stay and views of the lake. Everything was a short drive to see the historical landmarks and the providence canyon! Brett was easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions we had!

Brett was quick to address a heating issue before we even recognized the issue. The old jail was a perfect place for my wife and I to enjoy our anniversary. Early morning coffee with a beautiful sunrise view! Hoping to return again next year. Make sure the swing gets reinstalled. We noticed it was out of commission this visit, but hoping to swing next time!

This cottage was perfect in every respect. The owner takes obvious pride in this one-of-a-kind property and it shows. It's super-clean, well stocked, and furnished with comfortable furniture and quality appliances. It offers a beautiful view of the lake, quiet privacy and a location that's within easy walking distance to downtown shopping and to many of the most popular attractions located in Eufaula. We had a great time and look forward to returning!

My wife and I stayed here for our 21st anniversary trip, we stay in the area often and she has always wanted to stay in this house so we booked it. The house was very clean, with plenty of linens, the view was amazing and the sunrise was even better. We enjoyed it so much we both have agreed to book it for our next anniversary.

This place is beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice. The view of Lake Eufaula can be seen from from the living room, porch, and both bedroom’s. The host communicates well. We loved this place and will definitely book again.

Staying here was like being home away from home while my son competed in a high school bass tournament. Everything was so nice and clean. Little conveniences that were left made it such an enjoyable trip. It’s always the little thoughtful things that make such a big difference. Can’t wait to stay here again. Absolutely beautiful!

Charming little house walking distance to downtown and beautiful views of the lake. I only wished it had lake access. There’s a steep hill between the back yard and the water. Overall, great stay and would recommend.

My wife and I were in the area visiting Providence Canyon State Park and stayed here. This place is very neat with it being the old Jailhouse. It was the perfect size for my wife and I and our dogs. Brett was very nice to book from and was very quick to respond with any questions I had.

I booked this as a retreat after recently losing my husband to cancer. We were supposed to be in Disney World that week. Life changes in an instant. Everything about my stay was lovely. Sitting and staring at beautiful Lake Eufaula for a week was very therapeutic. It’s downtown so convenient to restaurants and such. The Old Jail House was both tasteful and quirky at the same time. Love that they kept so much of the old jail intact… including an original jail door. So much history but with modern day conveniences. Thanks for everything, Brett. Highly recommend.

I'm so happy I canceled my hotel and stayed here! The house is so cute and is very well restored. The location is awesome and only a 10 min walk to downtown where they have restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The host keeps it very clean and was stocked with quite a bit of stuff. We will definitely be coming back to stay when we're in the area.

Very cute. Love the history. The view is absolutely amazing. Nice back porch. Very convenient to everything. Decorated very cute. A king size bed would be great in the master bedroom. There is no water access from home but access is close. . They had a lot of extras to ensure you were comfortable. They had K cups, foil, parchment paper, condiments, spices, etc.. very nice if you forgot something.

If I could give 10 stars I definitely would. It was everything we expected and more. We went to Providence park and spent a few hours hiking. Our fur baby had never seen a chipmunk before so that was fun watching him try to figure them out. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My husband and I stayed in the historic jail in Eufaula for three nights so my husband could take a fishing charter on Lake Eufaula. We had a very nice stay. The "jail" was very comfortable, although a king bed rather than a queen would have made it much easier for us. But we were able to make the queen and two twins work. Brett made our stay so easy -- answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend this property as a lovely place to stay when visiting Eufaula!

What a charming place, comfortable, convenient, well appointed and what a view! I loved everything about this place. The hospitality of the hosts and the locals is rare nowadays, it was a wonderful respite for this weary work traveler, I’ll be back when I can stay longer and enjoy more of this beautiful area and home.

Loved staying at the historic jailhouse! Great location and amenities, close to town, love the outdoor covered deck, and the view is fabulous! Extremely clean and comfortable, will absolutely stay again!

The view is amazing! Very cool vibe with the old jail. Unfortunately, i was the one sleeping on one of the twin bed. Not comfortable at all for adults. Im only 5'4" 115 lbs. The sofa cushions are really broken down. Also, no light in the kitchen area over the range and sink. Outside seemed unkempt. Grill needs replaced, metal furniture not in great shap, weeds all over patio. I have also never stayed anywhere that asked you to wash all the towels.

Enjoyed staying in converted historic property on the lake and within easy walking distance of town and nearby trail. Appreciated quick response when notified property owner of ants in kitchen. - pest company arrived quickly. Just needs to fix bedroom tv. The sunrise is beautiful and view from inside air conditioning or covered deck is lovely. A unique place worth visiting…thanks!

This jail house was amazing! Great view, very clean, very comfortable. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Eufaula. We were on a road trip and I unfortunately had a brain fart... we left one day too early. We certainly could have used the other night. Oh well.

This is a very unique place to stay. Love the history of this building! Very roomy and decorated nicely. Everything you need is there, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. I would love to have this place out in the country! Keep in mind you’re in town, so you do hear traffic. Awesome view of the lake! Located close to good restaurants and shopping. The yard is fenced, but not for dogs so walking on a lease is required. Would definitely recommend, very very nice place.
