Nestled in Eufaula, this attractive house for $212 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This historical shabby chic cottage was saved from destruction at its original location in downtown Eufaula. It was moved to this beautiful bluff overlooking the lake. Our cottage is perfect for a lake getaway! Take advantage of the large kitchen and exteriorfish cleaning station for cooking your freshly caught fish. The back deck is great for your morning coffee and watching the local Bald Eagles. There is a gas grill located on the deck and a fire pit in the side yard. We hope you feel at home and enjoy all the charms this little cottage has to offer. The cottage sits on almost two acres, so you can bring your boats & RV. Plenty of parking spaces. Pet Friendly. The back portion of property is part of a reserve. No dock on the property. The closest public boat ramp is River Bluff Recreation Area. It’s located only 3 miles from the house. Cool Branch boatramp is 7 miles south. *Please note: The path down to the lake is accessible but very steep. There is a beautiful beach at the edge of a lake. Very secluded and serene. It’s worth the walk down. Certain times of the year, the lake water levels rise and the beach may not be accessible. Security cameras on property facing entrance and driveway.

We really enjoyed our stay here. As noted by others, this is an older cottage that has been very well maintained. We wanted a few quiet days before returning home from visiting family. This cabin was great. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet. I would recommend this property.

This cottage was perfect our weekend visit to Providence Canyon. The pictures don't give it justice. We will be booking the same cottage in fall when it'll be cool enough to enjoy more of the canyon. Note that beach is a very steep climb, but worth a visit at least once. There are alligators in the water though, so watch your little pups if you bring them along. (We didn't know this until we saw one!!)

The cottage is perfectly listed. Rachel was amazing at communicating with me prior to our stay and was so super helpful with places to visit whilst in the area. Upon arrival and first entering the cottage, my first words were “Wow it is immaculate”, the only disappointment was having to leave !!!! The sunsets are amazing, and the grill is perfectly positioned to cook supper and watch. The cottage has everything you need to make meals and enjoy the beautiful property. When in the area check out Providence State Park then treat yourself at Omaha Brewing Company, stop by Riverside Deli in Fort Gaines, grab lunch and picnic at Kolomoki Mounds.

Very nice and clean. Really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was stocked and clean. The steep hill down to the water was very scary and very hard to get back up. There is stairs that lead down partway to the water. Loved sitting out on the back deck in the morning drinking my coffee and listening to nature. Seen lots of deer. The owner was very nice and prompt. Not much to do in town but enjoyed just sitting at the cottage.

Only about 7-8 minutes from downtown Eufaula, the beds were comfortable, the living room was a great place to relax at the end of the day and we loved the back deck overlooking the woods and Lake Eufaula each morning. I would definitely recommend this place.

A friend and I stayed at the Cottage for two weeks and enjoyed our stay immensely. The Cottage had plenty of room for us and our dogs: it was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable! The view from the deck overlooking the lake was pretty and peaceful. We would absolutely rent it again.

My boyfriend and I rented this place with our 2 pups, so we could be close by Providence Canyon for a few days of hiking and exploring. It's a cute little cottage that definitely is older, but has aged well. It has everything you should need for your stay. I loved everything about it, my boyfriend on the other had was not a fan of the shower set up. It's an older clawfoot tub with a standup shower in it. So I guess if you're a larger man (over 6'2 and 215+ lbs) you may find the shower uncomfortable as well. The bed was super comfy, and the pups loved the cold wood floors to sleep on with all their fur (Australian Shepards)! Rachael was very easy to communicate with and quick with responses.

This cottage is so comfortable and cute! The owner answers promptly if needed. There’s a lot to do within a short distance or you can stay at the cottage and relax on the porch or deck overlooking the lake. Very quiet neighborhood. The neighbor next door is a sweet older gentleman ☺️. We hope to go back next year! Thanks, Rachel

This cottage is amazing! Beautifully located on Lake Eufala, it’s so peaceful enjoying the lake from the deck. The history of the cottage and it’s modern touches are perfect. Rachel was so helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The house and location on the river were great. The drive up to the house took you through some neighborhoods that you're glad you're not staying in. Overall it was a great house for its age.

Great little property on the lake, and the host was awesome. The walk down to the lake is really steep but it’s a nice hike and once you’re down there a beautiful view. It is a pet friendly home and we did find a bit of dog hair embedded in the sheets and on the pillows on the couch, not a big deal, otherwise extremely fresh and clean. We would definitely stay here again, if needed!

The cabin is more charming in person than it shows in the pictures! I wanted to rate this a 5, but the back porch had mildew on the porch and chairs - didn't feel comfortable sitting down and enjoying the view. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay!

Our family stayed at the lake cottage for a family reunion that was in Eufaula, which took us about 15mins to get to from where we were staying. The cottage is older and charming and decorated very cute inside. The mattresses were VERY comfortable and the bedding was nice. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals and we enjoyed the coffee pods that were in the cabinet. The view of the lake between the trees from the back deck is nice and peaceful. The walk down to the lake is steep, but the kids had fun exploring on the walk with us. Keep in mind that there are alligators in the lake. There is a neighbor next to the cottage, but they kept to themselves. This location is in the country so just remember that on the drive to the house. We took our dog with us (we had her crate and put her in that when we left the house) and she did great. Rachel sent us links on things to do in the area which was a nice touch. There is plenty of room on the long driveway for trucks and boats. There is great fishing in the area and boating too. Downtown Eufaula is growing and we enjoyed spending the day shopping and eating ice cream as we walked around the cute downtown area. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage on the lake and check-in was super easy.

We had a really nice time at the cottage and also poking around in the area. Relaxing and quiet. One of the locals pointed us toward the Providence Canyon which was quite enjoyable. The owner was very responsive when we arrived as we had some vehicle issues. We were fortunate enough to be able to resolve and enjoy our stay. It was very assuring that help was made available. :-)

This was a great find. The property perfectly located a little off the beaten path but conveniently located to several boat ramps if you plan to fish. Everything was very clean and the pictures don’t do the property justice.

Easy to find. Secluded but close to town. Beautiful, cozy cabin. Well stocked with towels, kitchen products, clean and charming. We loved the fold out table in the living room. We played board games and it was perfect. Would recommend this neat place for a weekend getaway.
