About this house rental
Salty Dog II -2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, as close as you can get to the beach without the high priced beachfront. We aim to make you smile when you open the front door. Great features include a fully equipped kitchen including stainless steel appliances and all the cooking accessories you need. Bring your Keurig Coffee as it comes stocked with a Keurig coffee maker. The main level is open floor plan with a dining table for 6, plenty of seating in the living room; 1/2 bath; laundry room with washer and dryer and outside patio to relax after a day on the beach. Upstairs has Two Bedrooms, each with private bath and plenty of closet space. One bedroom has a king bed and the other bedroom has 2 Dbl beds. TV's in every room, Wifi, Streaming Device (w/your login), games, beach towels, extra linens, outdoor shower. Well lit, secure end unit with two off street parking spots in front of your unit with security camera! Self check in upon arrival. Built in electronic wall safe for extra piece of mind. This is a non smoking townhome. Please honor our non-smoking policy or extra cleaning charges will be charged. We are pet friendly for well mannered pets! We only ask that you treat our home like your home while here. Pets should be vaccinated against fleas and should not be in beds. We love pets and would never go on vacation without our pet, but please remember to respect those coming after you. Parking Trailers: Jamin Leather offers trailer parking for trailers under 16ft in length. Please see their website for more information. They are very close to us and are a great option. Close to everything: White Sand and Sunny Blue Ocean, putt-putt golf course; ice cream shop, gift shops, restaurants-all just steps away. Centrally located to Coastal Grand Mall, Family Kingdom Waterpark, Golf Courses, Broadway at the Beach, Market Commons and the Myrtle Beach Airport. Visit our local Duplin Winery for a musical fun. Most of all, come and make memories with your family in the sun.

This townhouse was perfect. It was beyond clean, well equipped, great location walking distance to beach and the host was wonderful even checked on us when a storm rolled through. We would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

This is a very nice place and the owner does a good job of stocking it with everything you need. The unit was clean and updated. It is close to the beach with easy access. There are a couple of blocks of run down buildings nearby but we didn't encounter any issues. You can easily walk to several restaurants, a couple of ice cream stores, a putt put mini golf and a mini mart. We would definitely stay here again.

Our visit to Myrtle Beach included attendance at a CCU family homecoming weekend, strolling the beach, and dining at Murrells Inlet. We took advantage of the shopping at the Boardwalk on the Beach-a must visit when here. Most importantly, we were extremely satisfied with the location. The host provides an immaculate home which provided us a positive experience while vacationing in SC!

We have stayed at Firebird 16 more times than I can count and it has only improved under the new owners. We love that it remains pet friendly and our pup does too! The home is clean and beautiful with everything you could need. It’s a quick walk to the beach and close enough to pop in and out throughout the day. We were so sad to leave that we booked for next year on the way home.

The property was very nice and clean. The owners thought of everything you would need for your stay and made the trip more enjoyable and worry free. The wagon to the beach umbrella and beach toys were great to have. The location was perfect as it was just a few minute walk to the beach and so close to many other amenities.

We enjoyed a wonderful time being so close (walking distance) to the beach at this location. Owners were very quick to communicate with me and took excellent care of us at their well maintained home. We hope to return in the future!

The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. It is a short walk away from the beach but they have umbrellas, chairs, and a wagon to tote all your stuff to the beach. There is plenty of towels and linens if you need them. Nice little porch on the back to sit on. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the best stay!! The house is beautiful and homey. Love how close it was to the beach! My family and I rent from VBRO at least twice a year and this was the first home that I didn’t need to go out and buy anything but food! Paper towels, salt and pepper, games, beach chairs/toys, books, soap, dish and laundry detergent, even doggy bags out back. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this house!! Stay here and you won’t be disappointed one bit.

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space and the owners provide so much for their guests. We appreciated the bottled waters, coffee pods, and candy.
The beach is only a couple of blocks away, and beach chairs and a wagon are provided for your convenience.
I would highly recommend this townhome to anyone staying in Myrtle Beach and hope to stay here again on my next visit.

We had a very nice stay at the Salty Dog II. The property is very well maintained, nice and clean with everything up to date and in good condition and working order. The only negative we observed (no fault of the owners) was that several of the adjacent properties were showing their age. The beach front buildings were beginning to be become somewhat rundown and is understandable since this is an older developed area near "downtown" Myrtle Beach. However, there are plenty of places to eat and shop very near the unit...some within walking distance. We took our mini-Schnauzer "Molly" and she, and we, appreciated the numerous grassy areas around and near by the unit.
All and all, we had a very good vacation experience at the Salty Dog II and we can certainly recommend it as an excellent option for a Myrtle Beach stay.

Great rental. Extra clean with plenty of towels and extras. The kitchen was amazing with all the extra food. As senior citizens, we found the steps to bedrooms a little challenging. But the host offered to bring down the luggage upon departure. The host came to help us with TV controls. She is very nice and friendly. The beach chairs were great with a cart to put all beach needs in. We had a great time. The condo was breathtakingly beautiful. A little more than 2 minutes walk to the beach for us. But was a pleasant walk. Can't say great enough. Would stay again. But rather have everything on same level at our age. But not ruling out another stay. Much thanks to the host.

Though I’m not much of a beach person, we found the location to be ideal for going to the beach (limited for me), shopping, dining, and visiting family. We were in town for a memorial service and celebration of life for a family member and found this to be centrally located for our visit. Accessing the condo was very easy, accommodations very good, and the layout great. My initial assessment of the cleanliness - good - one of the things I always assessed when traveling for work, however, when I conducted a final check under the beds to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind, I found some hair under there. Also, the float in the toilet downstairs came loose a couple of times. I conducted minor no-cost repairs, basically by fastening the float in place as it looks to have been designed. Overall, very good. Hopefully, we left it as good or better than when we arrived. Thanks.

What a wonderful week we had!!!! The property is 2 blocks from the beach and close to everything. The property is very clean, modern and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a week at the beach! The owners are fabulous! We will be back!!!!

The owners were amazing! Everything was labeled so we knew which light switch went to everything. We felt like it was our second home & the owners did a fantastic job removing all traces of previous pets. Felt like no pets were ever there!
This location was super close to EVERYTHING. We ended up renting a golf cart to really take advantage of what Myrtle Beach has to offer. So happy we chose to stay with them!
No smells whatsoever & the owners told me that it was newly remodeled. We had a great time!

Amazing!
This was our first family vacation! Our boys have been wicked excited to go since we booked our stay. This house exceeded our expirations! They have literally thought of everything and anything you could ever need (from bottled water, to all the beach equipment)! We highly recommend this house and can’t wait to book next year and make it a yearly fmaily tradition!

Excellent Vacation Spot
Well kept town home close to the beach. Met the owner upon arrival and had a very pleasant interaction. The town home was ready ahead of time and we got our beach time in early that day.
We have stayed at this town home several times in the past and really enjoy it. We bring our own golf cart and take advantage of the free beach parking for golf carts at 25th avenue south considering that parking costs are around $10 or more each time you go to the beach.
The owner was very nice and responded quickly to our text messages.
Pros:
- very clean upon arrival.
- all amenities in good working order.
- Grill on back deck ready to use.
- Cable TV in living room and bedrooms.
- Washer/dryer in town home.
- Some beach towels and things supplied.
- PET FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!
Cons:
- Living room TV a little small for the size room and sitting distance from the TV.
- Only 2 kitchen trash bags supplied for our 7 day stay.
- Food left in the refrigerator and freezer from the previous guests.
- (Maybe not a Con, but noteworthy) Fire station very close by and they use the street next to the town home for any emergency response to the beach with lights and sirens at all times of the day or night. Again, maybe not a con because if we need help then they are close to us.
Would we stay here again? YES!
I would definitely recommend this town home.
