We enjoyed our stay. The master bedroom shower needs to looked at. Doesn’t drain well and the faucet won’t turn office completely. I would make sure there are Kleenex and would add pictures of the steps to the upstairs. A larger couch would be nice or add a comfortable chair. However, it was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Would recommend more wine/drinking glasses and an updated wine opener. The view from the deck was amazing and we felt very comfortable.

The house was really broken up, with our group of 4 guys on a golf trip we would have liked to be able to spend time together watching some sports on TV. There was no comfortable place for 4 of us to sit. The only couch was downstairs and sat only three, the kitchen was upstairs with no couch and a table with uncomfortable chairs for watching TV. We would have all liked to stay near the kitchen and refrigerator so we could have our drinks, food and entertainment all in one space. Beds were no the most comfortable same with the pillows....But had a great view of Morro Bay and the rock, had to drive for restaurants

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at this rental. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet that when we left the French Door open at night in the master bedroom, we went to sleep listening to crickets.
The home is on a hill in North Morro Bay, and the top floor has amazing views of Morro Rock and the ocean. It has a wonderful deck with table and chairs to sit in the sea breeze and admire the view.
On the downside, the home is 3 levels on a hill, with plenty of stairs. If you have toddlers or mobility issues, this is not the house for you.
It's just up the hill from Taco Temple, a great Mexican restaurant. And the weather while we were there was perfect. 90s and 100s inland -- but between 75 and 78 in Morro Bay, blue skys, and a nice sea breeze. Wonnnnnnderful.

Great location and super deck /view experience. Upper area is great. Upper master is roomy and has access to private bathroom. Lower area has one well appointed room. The other room has two single beds and really if you have three adults or three couples, one has to settle for a " kids" room.
None of the bathrooms come with shampoo, conditioner, lotion or bath wash so you need to bring your own. Lower shower is not nearly as good as upper. Toilet in lower bathroom was not well cleaned upon arrival. We had some minor challenges checking in as key was not in lockbox, and this was rectified with two phone calls and about 20 minutes.

Loved the deck and screen doors were nifty!!

House was clean and spacious. Neighborhood is kind of spotty, but we had no issues. Was a good home base for day excursions. Decent view of the ocean and Morro Rock. It's typical California in terms of value per square foot, but that's just how it is. Would recommend as a central hub for day trips. Not a beach vacation kind of stay. Great place!

Enjoyed the property looked out on the Morro rock and beach. We had an amazing time.

The house perfectly suited our needs. Plenty of space for four adults and one baby. Very quiet neighborhood just a couple miles from the water. Nice view of the rock and the ocean from the deck.

This place gave us the impression that is not finished yet or someone is not taking care of details.
We found one of the beds downstairs with blood stains on the sheets...lots of spider webs.
WiFi is bad very slow.TV remotes did not work..
Broken blinds upstairs and downstairs...
Old food items left in the kitchen... with unlabeled tea bags or laxative teas...(???)
No soap bars or shampoo in the bathrooms
Maybe it us out of seasonbut this should not be a reasonfir not takingcare of details.. we will not be returning...

Overall the house was fine. We struggled a bit to figure out where the lock box was and which door to unlock but we finally figured it out. The living room couch is small and the 3 of us couldn't use it. Which didn't matter, because we couldn't get the TV to work in the living room. The kitchen area is a good size and there are plenty of plates, bowls and silver ware but oddly there are only 3 coffee cups. We used the TV in the kitchen and sat in the dining room chairs, which worked but weren't very comfortable for relaxing and watching TV. The 3 bedrooms are nicely sized and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ocean waves in the distance. Ultimately, we were able to make the house work for our needs and we enjoyed our stay in Morro Bay.

Lots of little issues/misses with this rental.
Starting with getting a confirmation of rental, I had to reach out to property manager after the 1 day to ask if we were confirmed. He let me know he doesn't check VRBO regularly (even though the listing is booked through this site) and to communicate with him directly via email.
The day before the rental I still hadn't received check-in info, so I reached out to ask for it and got it the morning we were checking in. Not ideal to have to reach out to ask for this and get so late. I read a similar complaint by another reviewer.
We checked in late, so couldn't find the lockbox, turns out there are 2 and it was dark (no lights on) so were fumbling around looking for it and couldn't figure out which door (there are 4 btw) is the one to use. 3 of them aren't right, so you have to try and keep guessing which one is the right one. Not fun when it's late and dark out. No detailed instructions were given in the check-in message.
The house was ok, a little weird layout but nothing too bad. Some other issues, we never were able to get the tv in the family room working. I communicated with the property manager several times but never got it working. The one upstairs in the kitchen didn't work until they reset it and only then we could just get streaming to work. We looked for coffee mugs and they only have 3 in the house. Bathroom downstairs had an empty hand soap dispenser. And we found little mites running around under the rug in the master bedroom. Bed in the master was also very lumpy and hard to sleep in.
The house would be fine if the property manager put more effort into ensuring a better experience for renters. But given our experience we ended up leaving a night early to just get home and not deal with all the issues, obviously not ideal. When we brought the issues up to the property manager, he basically shrugged it off and said you decided to leave, your problem.

Overall the property was in a great location with a nice view. The house was clean and easy to access. A couple of minor issues would have put this at 5 stars. The first is the Property company/ manager never sent me any information regarding check in, keys, code etc. Left a message through Vrbo, but no response. Called the number and left a message, got redirected to a voice mail, no response. Finally got a hold of the property manager and was somewhat unconcerned and flippant about the fact that we were to check in the next day and I had not been contacted. It was corrected and we checked in. The layout of the house was not that big of a deal, but it is not ideal for a family to hang out in. Multiple levels, living room downstairs, kitchen and dining are upstairs. Both areas somewhat small but could be dealt with. Deck area had beautiful view of ocean. The last issue was a trail of ants in the upstairs bedroom that cut across the middle of the floor. Only about 20 or so but after removing them they would show up again the next day. All in all the stay was fine, but wanted to be transparent about some of the issues you may experience.

My family and I stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and the house met all of our needs. The home was clean and had beautiful ocean views. The two living spaces were great for the adults and kids to have their separate spaces. We would be happy to visit this home again in the future!

The views are wonderful. The bedrooms were comy. The home was great if not for having two senior grandparents that had to traverse stairs to get to the upstairs where the kitchen and dining area were. There is only one couch on the entry floor that can sit 3 tops. The main floor entertaining area is nice but a lil' awkward - there are just two wicker chairs and a dining table - which didn't make for an easy spot to gather or hang out. I think with a couple small furniture upgrades this could be a definite 5 star spot.

The property was perfect for our family. We loved the location, the decor, the ease of everything. Our only concern might be the stairs for senior guests and during our trip the downstairs was cold; the heater wasn’t working and we had to buy a portable heater for the grandkids. We would, however, definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with my wife, our daughter who’s one and a half years old, and my sister and her partner. The house had plenty of space for all of us, and was very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and just a short drive to town (like 5 mins). And because the beach is so close, it was easy to keep our kiddo occupied.

Beautiful home with great views! There are a lot of stairs to climb (just FYI). The deck was a great way to end the day-enjoying the sunset and a glass of wine. Easy drive to Paso Robles, San Simeon and
Cambria!

Comfy home with amazing ocean view
My son, his two teenagers, and I enjoyed our stay in this three-bedroom home with its well-equipped kitchen, and attractive outdoor deck. The home is in a quiet neighborhood (nearby house construction notwithstanding) a few minutes’ drive from Morro Bay’s “old town” and its Embarcadero and from Highway 1 access to towns and attractions north and south.
We visit the central coast each summer to spend time on the beach, in local eateries, and at Farmer’s’ markets with my daughter and her sons who live in Los Osos. I always look for a place to stay that can accommodate my growing family comfortably. This house fit the bill.
