Located in Nantucket, this charming house for $3,073 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Historic Skyemoor, originally built in 1694, is one of the 50 oldest houses on the island. Built by the Macy family, who arrived on Nantucket with the first settlers, Skyemoor is steeped in island history and culture, played host to Herman Melville and others, as well as served as the home of wealthy Whaling Captains throughout Nantucket’s whaling golden age. Today, Skyemoor is the perfect family home, having been tastefully and carefully renovated to provide modern conveniences without losing its antique roots. The house sits high up on Main Street, at the head of town and central to all that Nantucket has to offer. Charming shops, fine dining restaurants, and beautiful beaches are all just steps away. Experience Nantucket the way the island is meant to be, with an appreciation for her beauty, a nod to the past, and from the comfort of a welcoming and grand family home. Floor Plan First Floor: Living Room, fireplace, dining room with a table for 8 and room for extra seating. A gourmet kitchen with Wolf stove, Miele appliances, an island with seating, and pantry. One queen bedroom, a hallway full bathroom, and another bedroom with a full bed, a pullout twin bed and ensuite bathroom. Second Floor: One Queen bedroom overlooks the beautiful back garden. Another bedroom with two twin beds. These two rooms share a full bathroom in the hall, complete with a shower, washer & dryer. A luxurious master bedroom suite has its own soaking tub and shower. Third Floor: 2 twin trundle beds and an ensuite full bathroom with a shower. The house has a private garden accessible only to Skyemoor. Skyemoor has an attached cottage that shares a wall with the main house, and runs down the side street of Gardner Avenue. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and depending on the time of year, it can be let along with the main house to provide a total of 9 bedrooms for large groups or families. Most of the time the back cottage is let to respectful island professionals who have limited contact with anyone from the main house, as their entrance is separate. 2 off street parking spots on Gardner Avenue behind the house 2 additional cribs are available if needed WiFi 6 Bedrooms 5 Full Bathrooms Outside Garden with grill and furniture

Our family of 7 plus an infant had the most wonderful stay for Christmas stroll weekend. The house is exactly as described and is in an ideal location for walking to town! We loved our stay!

My family stayed at this property for Thanksgiving and we had a fantastic time. The house was just as advertised and was a perfect size for our family. It was also a great location with a short walk to downtown. Lina was also a great host and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!!

This home is wonderful. It looks just like the pictures. We had 10 women together for our annual girls weekend and the house was perfect!! 10 minute walk from boat and so close to town. I can’t recommend enough!! Look no further!!

We had an amazing stay at Skyemoor. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. Perfect size for our group of 4 adults and 6 teens. So close to town, everyone enjoyed their stay.

The history of Skyemoor house alone is worth the stay, but the close proximity to shops and restaurants make this home a true gem. Our stay was wonderful and our interactions with the property manager were delightful. Lovely owners.... lovely property.

The perfect location for two families with small kids (4.5, 2.5, and 2) who wanted to walk into town for ice cream every night! We absolutely loved our stay at Skyemoor. The house is beautiful and in wonderful condition, with a well-stocked kitchen, new amenities, lovely bathrooms, and nice bedrooms. We were a bit bummed there aren't two primary bedrooms that allow for two couples to feel they're in equal accommodations, but we made it work. The house comes with two OFF STREET parking spaces (so nice!!), comfy beach chairs, lots of beach towels, a grill, and a cute little outdoor space for letting the kids run around. Easiest check in / check out ever and super convenient in every way. We can't wait to come back!!!

We loved everything about this house - the beautifully way it was renovated, the owners' choice of furniture, even the linens. Everything was immaculate and because the owner left so many decorative items, plus board games, books, etc. throughout the house, it felt like a true family home. The house is large - 6 bedrooms - and perfectly accommodated our family of seven. Everyone had their own bedrooms, important for teenagers. Our 16-year-old grandson loved the attic loft. The master suite is amazing and the bathroom is magazine-worthy. The kitchen is a show-stopper (beamed ceiling, Wolf range) and the long table perfect for our few family dinners. The house is so close to town ( 3 - 5 minute walk) that we ate out often but a true chef would love this kitchen. In addition, the owner was very nice and responsive. Honestly, our stay could not have been better. We would definitely rent again. 5 stars!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family! The kitchen was amazing, we didn't plan on eating in but when we saw the kitchen we just had to cook! 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, just right, the master bath is a wow room. Short walk to town was perfect. The yard was so nice to sit and relax. Just a perfect home away from home.

Skyemoore did not disappoint. The house was beautifully renovated with historic charm. The location was fantastic and close to shopping/restaurants. The house was immaculate and the property owner was a pleasure to deal with. We loved our weekend stay and would highly recommend this house!
