The reservation was NOT honored. I reserved a deluxe room and I was given a basic room in a portion of the hotel that was being renovated. The elevator was loud and shaky. The room was small and uncomfortable. When I talked to the front desk they refused to honor the reservation. They also threw the blame to the website and the website blames the hotel. My issues were not resolved. Overall my experience was horrible was horrible! I will never book this hotel again. I’ll also use caution when using this site to book in the future!

I’ve stayed here before excellent service. But this last time was horrible. The front desk lady so rude. We had to switch rooms 3 times. Because of so many issues. I’m so highly upset and if I could get a refund I would!!!

When we first arrived the first room we was assigned to was filthy and someone else had been still in there and then the second room we received the sliding door was broken complete off the hinges just laying again the frame at this point it was 4 am and we was tired after driving several hours and just stayed since it was the second floor this room was at least clean .

The rate was high for the location and the age of the hotel. The gentleman at the service desk was very helpful explaining the maze to the room.
The baloney was awesome!
I would like to add this hotel is older but it is very evident the owners are making improvements while still keeping the history alive!

We had a late check-in, but when we arrived our Rooms were given away to other customers. Staff was in helpful and resolving the situation. Some family members were forced to go look for a different hotel in the middle of the night Because rooms were given away because of our late check-in, the rooms had musty mildew odor. We requested towels several times and were forced to go downstairs and get them ourselves after three attempts of calling and no response I would not recommend this hotel.

Do not stay on 3rd floor a/c doesn’t keep cool At all.

There were a few events on the Saturday night stay, and it was loud in our wing - people running up and down the halls and then some extremely loud voices around 2am. Notre that the wing we stayed in was pretty far from check in and event areas.

It is a recently remodeled hotel and clean. Had a positive experience and happy to have selected this location for a short visit with family to Sacramento.

Went there on a business trip. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Service was fine & the parking lot area felt safe, I do appreciate that there weren’t any homeless around
The bath tub was a bit shallow for my liking. Also the continental breakfast that was $13 total wasn’t the best. The country fried steak and the eggs weren’t exactly fresh
But overall it’s worth it for a weekend

Room renovations are nice. Attention to detail is lacking, ice machines are out of service on many floors, soda machines need restocking, entry doors have broken parts, construction signs are falling over.
Not to mention the soda machines charge 7.50$ for one soda can! Thats insane.
A/C unit was malfunctiong, needed engineering repair at 8pm.
Showers had remnants of prior guests.
Parking should also not require a fee. 10$ a night to park, when it isn't covered parking or a locked gate is unreasonable.
The hotel has immense vacancy, seems like they're pinching pennies.

When I arrived to the hotel they told me the didn’t have a room for me due to “gas leak” and they did not have an alternative option for me to stay.

A/C didn’t blow cold air. Bed was hard and pillows were flat. Breakfast that I paid extra for was below par definitely not work the extra charge.

We were told our room would be ready at 4pm and when we came back, the told us they were canceling our reservation because of the lack of hot water and we had to find a different place to stay. We drove 8 hours from Las Vegas and it was the worst experience.

One of the beds had not been changed from the last people staying in our room. Took pictures of used tissues between the sheets. . . . they were unable to send housekeeping because of the latest of the day, but we were delivered sheets for us to change. We decided to sleep on top of the beding. Poor service with TV, requested several times to have it repaired, did not happen. On Sunday evening, we were locked out of our room because they said we were suppose to be out on Sunday a.m. We had extended our stay until a Monday checkout through a third party, but they had no record of it. Management took notes, etc., but I don't expect to hear from them. .. got the feeling that they don't really care.

Lady wouldn’t let us check in. Took forever to finally check us in. Didn’t explain how to get to room at all. Bed hurt my back. Shower pressure was hell on earth. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Dudes didn’t even have a microwave like alright bro what are we doing ?

We had a great time. The service was great and everyone was very polite and friendly. Beautiful and very clean.

Was a nice and clean room. The beds were very comfortable. We were a bit disappointed in learning at check in that the famous free warm cookies haven't been available since 2022. Sounds odd but we love those cookies so much that we looked to Double Tree first when planning our trip. Now i have to get my wife a really good chocolate cookie somewhere to make it up to her

Was less than stellar.. rooms were not really finished. Large, but air conditioning & heating did not work, tv was broken, no ice maker in the entire wing and bed had bedbugs! Woke up with lines of bites across my back.

Coffee pot in the room was dirty,
Homeless people living in tents across the street,
A sign in the parking lot read"police bait car may be in parking lot "
We had a knock at our door at 11pm from someone claiming to be maintenance

got in late, road weary. hotel staff was lovely. my only complaint, is I forgot toothpaste, I thought the front desk should have atleast had some for sale. (I think doubletree even advertises that they have items if you forget...)

There is a strong smell of wall paint in the room. There is a guest's hair and plastic label left on the dressing table, and there is a little bit of paper on the carpet. This indicates that the cleaning work in this hotel is not good. Moreover, walking from the lobby to the room is really far, and it is not suitable for use as a hotel.

The first thing, the air conditioner did not work. No exhaust fan in the bathroom?
No microwave.
We had to go two units over to get ice.

The stay was good. Clean room etc.. The service at the restaurant was slow and not friendly. If the lady server doesn't want the job, then find somewhere else to work.

Horrible experience. First, the room we checked into had dirty underwear tucked under the mattress. They transferred us to a different room and this one had dirty cups on the desk, tons of hair on the sink and the hand soap had been used. We got transferred to another room and this one had a broken wand so we couldn’t open the curtains. Lastly, we were denied a late check out. Andrea, the front desk girl, was super rude about it. She wouldn’t allow me to talk to a supervisor regarding my request. Never staying here again.

It’s a big hotel. The from office employees were welcoming. Rooms were nice and clean

We stayed while there was a lot of construction going on in the facility. The AC was not working correctly and even though we addressed it, it was no resolved. We slept in a room that was stuffy and hot. My son who has very bad allergies had no sleep because the humidity in the room was aggravating his symptoms. Will probably not be returning to this location.
