Beautiful Hotel / Great Service, Friendly Staff / The restaurant service was slow but overall would stay here again

The bathtub had dust all over it. There was hair in my bed and the kid checking me in couldn't care less and was more interested in texting than helping me.

The location was the reason I chose this hotel. It is very close to the University of Utah hospital. It was clean and comfortable but not a good value. I feel it was very pricey and then I had to pay for parking on top of an overpriced room fee. The room did not have a microwave so I was unable heat up the food I would have liked to eat for breakfast. There is no complimentary breakfast but only their restaurant which is another added expense.

It was a nice hotel. Super close to campus and everything that we needed.

I had the most stressful day driving a broken Penske moving truck from LA. Erica checked me in, early and gave me a beautiful room. I was so relieved. She also signed me up for the Marriott Club, gave me a free breakfast and 15% off my bar visit. I’ve been a bit of a handful and the team at the front counter is incredibly sweet, professional and compassionate. I was very faithful to Little America and my past few trips to SLC I have stayed at the University Marriott. I love it here.

This reservation was booked thru a 3rd party. We ended up in a two-queen room was down a weird hallway and that frankly, smelled bad - like musty, icky questionable ventilation system type scent. It wasn't the worst room I've ever stayed in, but it was not a room combination I would ever book again because of the off-putting odor and room location. It is however, the closest hotel to University Hospital - if you book here - book a king/sofabed room - they are MUCH nicer.

Hotel was nice but bathtub/bathroom was dirty and needed repairs.

Very nice stay while visiting my Ute and watching the Women's Basketball game. Staff very friendly and kind. Room was clean and welcoming.
Nice to have a breakfast option with the onsite restaurant or Starbucks right in the lobby.

Very nice property. Small room but adequate for our needs. Nice gym

Check wait was annoying given I got 3 emails wanting to up charge me $50 for early checking. Then had me wait until 3 to check, started tapping on my door at 8:30 in the morning when check out is 11. So basically they want your stay to be less than 8 hours for their convenience not yours!

We felt very safe and comfortable while staying here which is key to recovery from medical procedures. We will be staying here again in the future!

I use this hotel one to two times a month, and they always have great service and a clean environment. It is easy access to the U of Utah and the Medical Centers, which I appreciate.

The beds were comfortable, room was clean and it's nice to have access to food, drink and other amenities but they are expensive! This is the first hotel I've ever had to pay for parking and I travel often. The parking had to be paid for on a phone app, it's a good think my sister and I took my parents to this appointment... they don't have a smart phone. The restaurant was nice and had great service but the prices were very high. Breakfast was not included with the room and it was expensive so we opted for the café down the road. The front desk did what they had to for check in but provided no extra information, we had to go back down to have a key programmed because it didn't work and to get wifi information because it was not provided.

My father was at the hospital nearby and the Marriot helped me feel comfortable during a very stressful time.

I am booked a concierge level which was highly disappointing when compared to my previous experiences with this class of room. It was on the ground level & less than lower hotels offer for guests at their entry - no chg from morning to night as it wasn't attended. Nothing more than hot water & coffee, dry cereal, fruit & a few nuts in a bag plus a few sodas on a Sat night. Hotel is not finished being remodeled & this wasn't clear. Only one elevator functioning. Low toilet, damaged bathroom flooring & possible mold going into bedroom. Few towels. No review of amenities or assistance to speak of at chk in. Party on concierge level & the bar wasn't attended either so guests wanted us to serve them & advise about smoking. Very dark parking area, no luggage carts & return about 8:30 pm left us with the main door turned off and had to push the round guest door with food. Ugh. All around VERY disappointed. Reservation requests not met with xtra pillows and room away from elevator and common amenities despite being relatively low occupancy. This is a hospital heavy area --- not good service for those in need with inattentive staff.

The property is under renovation which we weren't aware of. The hotel is a mess. Only one elevator works and when you have a baby in a stroller it takes forever to utilize the elevator. We waited 30 minutes at the elevator to leave. As a mom with a baby and currently pregnant I was not impressed. Also the beds are awful! They're full size and hard as a rock.

The room was tiny. The bathroom had mold and mildew growing in the crevices of the shower. It was noisy. All night long some kind of water drainage backup was happening in our shower…not sure where from but it kept gurgling and filling with water from the drain. The curtains wouldn’t closed properly so we had lights shining in our room all night from the parking lot. Pay to park, pay for internet access. It was a lot of nickel and diming for a building in such poor repair and care. The front desk staff was pleasant during check in. Other than that, this was a terrible stay.

They leave everyone sheets and towels, sitting outside the doors all day long into the evening. Never seen this before. Not sanitary.
The food in Bedford service was not very good
2.0
Torn down comforter spewing feathers on the floor-
Not a proper fan system for the bathroom as the windows gathered steam in the bedroom-
One elevator not in service of two elevators-
Restaurant food mediocre and many food items not available-
Really? Does one have to pay for parking when there’s no where else to park AND there’s plenty of parking spaces for hotel guests?

Front desk staff was friendly, room was clean and super convenient.
