Joan was very friendly and professional and the two lovely ladies that helped with breakfast sealed the deal for my family and I to return to this hotel. The one downfall was that the shower had a slow drain and was a bit of an issue.

Considering they quadrupled the price of the room for the eclipse, the room was barely big enough to move around in. The staff was friendly and helpful. But the property née updating.

We just wanted to get away for a couple of days The hotel was centrally located for everything we did. The room was nice and clean. All the personal were friendly and helpful.

The room was extremely clean and it was much nicer than I expected for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again if I'm ever back in Cape Girardeau! (Only downside was that you could hear people in the hallways, but only if they were being obnoxiously loud).

We heard talking late and night and very early in the morning. Don’t know if it was people in parking lot or walls so thin it was people next door. The breakfast was disappointing there wasn’t eggs or even real oatmeal and I’ve never been to a hotel with no vanilla coffee creamer . We got handicapped room but bed was too tall for my mom , she had trouble getting in and out of it. I would not stay here again

This was a stopover trip on our way south. The room is comfortable but very small and there is a lot crammed into the space. Staff is very friendly. The building is in pretty good shape but obviously has some miles on the odometer. Nice Chinese buffet restaurant next door which was very convenient considering our late arrival (around 8).

Very comfortable. So happy we chose Pear Tree as our accommodations. We were back in Cape to revisit our old neighborhood. We lived here for 3 years in the late 70s. The entire area has changed sooo much. Lots of good changes, progressive. What hasn’t changed? The wonderful southern hospitality. Don’t ever change that!

We had a good stay at the Pear Tree. Hotel and room were great and comfortable. Only complaint was breakfast. Poor choice of hot breakfast plus no protein……bacon or sausage.

Service at this hotel is 5 star. It looks humble but delivers a lot: clean pool, free, breakfast, popcorn, easy access to restaurants and shopping. We often stay here and would highly recommend it.
