Was a great clean room for a great price for our one night stay

Was given one King Bed vs 2 queen so sleeping with grandchildren was difficult. Hotel said pool but not that is was outside only and not opened in March. Neighborhood was sketchy

Our day was great.
Loved the Kitchenette and the full size refrigerator.
Everything was walking distance.
The service and people made a big difference in our overall experience.

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast area had a lot of nice seating and tables; it was also very clean.

This was a good room for my business purposes. I asked for an accessible room due to an injury, however the room was far away from the elevator making it a little hard to get around.
2.0
The hotel ended up being ok. My first room was not good at all. Broken microwave, broken sofa, ants in the bathroom, wonky thermostat. I went down and mentioned the issues and they changed my room. The next run was much better, but behind the elevators, so I heard mechanical noises all night long.
The first night there I had no hot water at all, and I heard someone in the elevator complaining that they had had a cold shower that morning, so I don't know what was going on. The second day my water was warm, but not hot, and then it was fine for the next two days.
Breakfast was good. Parking was good. Lots of homeless people around, and I believe there is an encampment nearby. I had pulled my car over on the next block to fix my directions on my GPS and a cop came up behind me to make sure I was ok and tell me to move along quickly "for my safety." But nothing the hotel can do about that.

As the closest hotel to the Zepher train station the hotel is in an excellent location. Sadly the area surrounding the hotel is in a poor area of SLC, which thankfully did not detract from the experience.

Good location and helpful staff.

Nice hotel, however if you advertise that you have a hot tub and pool, you should make it explicitly clear that they are closed for the winter. I would have booked a different hotel had I known that.

Overall a good stay. We had problems with the room they gave us, and I was surprised that maintenance was not working and could not fix the problem. They assigned us to another room that was not as nice. The next day, they were able to fix the original room, and they allowed us to move back.
We did love the reception time on Wednesday. It was nice to have some good food and drinks in the evening. We likely will come again and stay here, just for this alone.
This is a great hotel for the downtown area.

The property has walkable options for food, drinks and shopping. The park next door is nice and having the view of the Rio Grande outside our window was a nice view. However it would have been nice to experience a hot tub during the hold weather but the tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and we didn’t make it out to the pool level/patio to enjoy. There was also cops parked consistently through our trip across the street, we found a large homeless camp a street over and believe that’s why the cops are patrolling there 24/7. Breakfast was good and I like that they changed it up both mornings. Good food. Good service. Close and free parking. Overall would stay again.

Fantastic stay. Location is close to everything! Rooms are huge for downtown area and very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Salt Lake City!

Great place. We stayed almost a week. There were a few maintenance issues and no one on staff could help. The desk staff tried to make things right but you could tell they were under staffed. We would still come again.

The property was convenient, it was right down town. The pool and hot tub are outdoors and closed for the winter months which we didn't know so we had to go down to the sister hotel for a pool. The breakfast was good but was constantly running out and they had a hard time keeping up with restocking it in the mornings. No gluten Free specific options were available.
The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The walls are a bit thin so when some dogs started barking it was very audible. The staff were very helpful ans kind. Limited out door parking so the parking garage is $10/night to be there.
Overall it was a good stay.

I suggest they replace the manager, who ever she is.
We stayed there for 12 nights, our room was never cleaned.
I suggest they go and stay at same hotel in Liberty Station in San Diego CA. So they can see how we expect it to be, starting from the breakfast, terrible at this place.
I needed a bottle wine opener, I had to go down stairs, so then I was told, you need to bring your bottle and open it here, so I had to go back to my room come back WITH MY bottle to open the bottle down stairs!, Yes! "you can't borrow the opener, is the only one in the hotel"
Kitchen accessories all limited and in pour condition, of course, NO WINE GLASSES.
I requested another room in an upper level as our windows look at a very depressed side, I mentioned we had a large stay, "no nothing available, ask tomorrow, same answer the next day, till finally we were moved only one story up, so that was our only cleanning we had. People at front desk NOT accommodating at all! May be because they can see we paid a low rate true EXPEDIA??? Some times I get that impression, mistreated with the comment "well you rented true a third party nothing we can do"
House keepers all very nice prompt to facilitate any help and needs from their carts.
Back to the breakfast we only had it few times that we had to leave early, so we were forced to heat it, it's terrible.
I think this is teh first review I made this long and so negative, sorry.

When we tried to contact the front desk we were put on hold for a very long time. Our TV stations were also majority in Spanish.

Josh and Vanessa were very helpful at the front desk and we had a wonderful stay. Having the underground parking was nice, even if there is a $10 night charge. Breakfast had good options, but was the same everyday. Rooms were spacious and our family enjoyed soending a few days with this being our home base. Convenient to downtown and the Gateway is a short walk away. Pool and Hot Tub were closed during our stay. Overall a nice place and would stay there again.

Housekeeping will not clean your room AT ALL during your stay. We stayed 4 nights and they never cleaned the room, even when asked for (TWICE). The room was nice but we needed trash pick up and towels/toilet paper. We called housekeeping and they said they would do it but they NEVER did. We also went to the lobby to speak to someone and they said we had already called and that they will do it. Yet again, they NEVER came to clean. We had to take out our own trash 2 days because they would not come pick it up. Then, still no room service so we had to go twice to the lobby to ask for toilet paper and towels since they never delivered any. It is a nice hotel on the inside but on the outside it is in a sketchy area/neighborhood and they won’t clean your room even when asked for, not worth it.

Josh at the desk was super knowledgeable and helpful. Also very nice 👍. Nice hotel but area is a little questionable.

The temperature inside the room stayed at 81 for about 3 hours every night, it looks like something wrong with heating system , it was too hot

This was a disaster from the start. I checked in at 3pm and was put into a room that had obviously never been cleaned from the guest before. They changed my room, which I had also asked for an extra cleaning service, but apparently that service request was never put in and I was told they wouldnt come and clean my room. I said hey its Christmas do you think you can give me some fresh towels at least? They said yes, but they never came. I callled the front desk MANY times to discuss issues and never had anyone pick up, same with housekeeping except for that one time they picked up.

Beauiful room that was quiet and clean. The service was very friendly.

Poor customer experience with the front desk staff. The room was nice.

1 star for checking in and customer service , 4 star for the room and location.
So I checked in around 7pm with my family . The guy was seating behind the counter was really rude. He acted like he didn’t wanna be there! Or underpaid . Or he had personal problems. I don’t know how to explain! As if we were staying there for free . He didn’t answer any questions. I had a big smile on his face . I did not feel welcome after 10 Hours drive. I don’t blame him . I think is lack management. Oh and get ready to pay $150 deposit for each room . We had 2 rooms .

The soda bed was dirty so we didn’t use, also they could have cleaned the bathroom better, there was stuff not swept up under the sink.

Kind sketchy outside of the hotel. But they have great facility and amazing security. So I’d stay here again

Greeting and reception were awesome. Parking waived due to it being our anniversary! So thoughtful! Clean throughout. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We found a pair of underwear in the drawer still. The hotel was not in a very safe area. The breakfast was awful and the gym was closed the whole time we were there for new flooring. When I called to make the reservation, I asked specifically if they had a gym and was told they did
