Due to the tropical storm Lee all boats were canceled and we did not get to the island for our stay. They provided a full refund which was very nice. We hope to reschedule soon.

Great location- can be subject to nightime noise

Loved being right on the water and by the boats. Easy access to shops and places to eat. Loved the free bikes too. Staff was super nice and we had a great time.

The level of disrepair this property is in is not only very disturbing and disappointing, but also extremely dangerous. The most concerning issue was the water POURING into the closet in the bedroom from the ceiling, anytime the air conditioning was on. It was leaking a significant amount of water immediately next to the electric breaker panel, a clear fire risk. I called twice to express concern. The first time they sent a maintenance man, that basically did nothing. The second time a kind manager (Shawn) called other hotels to see if they could accommodate our dogs and they could not.
The other issue with Sea Siren Cottage, besides the fact is NOT on a wharf or the boat basin at all, is the volume of noise from The Gazebo Bar. It sounded like a rave until all hours of the morning and we essentially were unable to sleep.
Furthermore, the Sea Siren Cottage was lipstick on a pig and falling apart. The couch was faded and looked dirty, the door to the deck had been kicked and was rotting, the windows were cracked, there were wires sticking out on the deck and at least an inch of moss growing, showing it had not been cleaned at all this season. The floors were very scratched, the door frame was held together by hot glue from a glue gun, and there was no deadbolt on the bedroom door that went to stairs to the ground. The bathroom vanity was rotting where it met the floor and the radiator cover was hanging off of the radiator.

Beautiful location, cottage had everything we needed ! Staff were all so pleasant. Only complaint is that we wish we could have stayed longer!!

You are paying for location and this has it! NO water pressure in shower, but that is why it's eco friendly. Staff could not be more friendly and welcoming!! Food around is best of the best! Can be
noisy but you are in a marina. Needs updateing but so nice you don't notice. Your not paying to be in the room. Quahog says great vacation spot. 4 paws up!

The cottages are so cute and unique in a great location. There was a slight problem getting the sofa bed set up as we had to move the table but apart from that our stay was perfect!

At $2,000 a night, we expected something different. Instead, we experienced a dirty accommodation- which included stains on every piece of furniture possible. Entry hallway was disgusting. They should be embarrassed. Exterior of all stainless steel appliances was just plain dirty and in poor condition. Never again. Wonderful front desk staff.

This place is an absolute gem. We loved being directly on the water, surrounded by yachts and central to downtown Nantucket. For the price I wish there was a coffee pot in the kitchen

The staff was incredibly accommodating. They provided everything we needed for our pups from water bowls, food bowls, beds to a goody bag to take home with us. We arrived early and were surprised to get a check in right away! Location is fantastic - right in the heart of downtown, but on the water.

Free shuttle to the beaches. Attentive and accommodating staff. Dog friendly!

Wonderful location in the heart of the harbor, a scenic area with many good restaurants.

The location is spectacular - if you like boats and the ocean and proximity to great food - as we do. The cottage was comfortable, though quite small for $750+/night. The bathroom needs a major overhaul - a bit too much like an old "head" on a sailboat!

Our girls’ weekend at The Cottages at the Basin was fabulous from the moment we checked in. The 2 bedroom cottage was clean and far more spacious than we anticipated. It was centrally located and close to the many shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We cannot wait to go back next summer.

It was near perfection. We booked a dog friendly cottage. We got: a dog bed and 2 dog bowls (on loan), a fabulous location by the marina, a 3-room cozy cottage with a full kitchen, a keurig coffee maker with coffee and half and half provided and it felt all new and tidy. We had access to bicycles as available (they were). The town was less than a 2 minute stroll away. The dog didn’t get his anticipated doggie turn down service on his 2nd night, but he did get a goodie bag filled with toys, a fold up water bowl and poo bags. There were 2 rocking chairs and a table on our patio where we could have sundowners. It was quiet, clean and restful. Bliss!

Location was great. Close to everything. Staff was very friendly. Room itself was not as expected. Bedroom was only big enough to accommodate the bed leaving little to no room to move around.

The staff was wonderful. The room needed some updating. Couch had some stains and furniture was tattered and torn. The view was absolutely the best part.

Not what we were expecting for a White Elephant associated hotel. Dirty baking sheet left in oven from previous guest, kitchen table was not cleaned, hinge on door was broken, and the drain in the shower was broken as well. Considering the prices they charge in season, would expect nicer. Happy we went in the off season and didn’t spend the higher price for what we got.

No view, no outside access to deck or porch and overpriced for what you get.

We loved The Cottages overall. Ours was a very spacious, beautifully furnished two bedroom with a balcony that had a limited view. Only complaint is that the four of us had to share the one bathroom (two adult aged children). Also, we thought we would be right on the dock facing the water and we were not so make sure to ask before booking.

From the moment we stepped off of the ferry and were met by the very friendly Paul from The Cottages, who took our bags and whisked them to our room, the staff of this fabulous establishment took the very best care of us. In this time of a global pandemic we were nervous to travel but we felt safe and secure in all of the measures taken to protect our health. Our cottage was tiny but immaculate and we had a very comfortable stay! We loved having the spacious living area in which we could relax together versus being trapped in separate hotel rooms. We cannot wait to go back!

Amazing views and outstanding staff. Perfect couple getaway during the off-season.

The location was ideal. Easy walks to all the shops and restaurants. The ferry was right there too, made leaving our car behind a no-brainer.

Definitively convenient and super cute little place. If you are sound sensitive it may not be great for you but we rise at 6am daily so none of the harbor noise bothered us.
