So quaint and amazing details. Amazing sheets and smell. Very curated and complimentary continental breakfast is a nice touch - they packed it for us to go. Also great location - quiet but a block from everything.

We just love staying here. Quiet location but so conveniently located. Elaine is such a gem. So pleasant and engaging. It’s a bit older but in a quaint way. Our second time 4 years later n just as wonderful

We absolutely loved our stay at Cap Diamant! Absolutely spotless Victorian rooms. Excellent location. And above all, our wonderful hostess, Elaine. She is lovely and truly made us feel at home. She gave great recommendations for where to go, how to get there, and options if that didn’t work out. We will definitely be going back to beautiful old Quebec and staying at this hotel!

We loved the character and the location was superb. The real jewel of the hotel was the hostess Elaine. We also spent one night at the Chateau and preferred Cap Diamant.

Marie’s was such a wonderful and gracious hostess. She is very friendly and so helpful. We had great conversations about everything. She was so accommodating and really helped us with places to visit and eat.
My sisters and I enjoyed our stay at her hotel and I will definitely be coming back.
Its meticulously taken care of and historically preserved. A stunning property.

Absolutely no complaints. As my review title suggests the location was perfect for anywhere you need to go in QC, but a very quiet street. The bathroom was small (these are very old bldgs) but it was modern and it and the large bedroom were both spotless. No street noise at night. We found the bed comfy and very nice linens. A good continental breakfast eaten in a charming morning room. Proprietor, Mary, was not only helpful with QC info, but delightful and friendly! There are stairs, but they have cleverly devised a dumb waiter to carry luggage up the steps. If even one flight of stairs is problematic, then perhaps a modern Hilton (read no charm) would serve you better. My husband and I are in our 70's and had no issues. We would stay here again anytime.

We were made to feel like honored guests from the moment we entered the lobby. The staff were gracious and helpful throughout our visit with parking recommendations and cheerful inquiries about our activities and tolerant corrections of imperfect French.

This wonderful 9 room hotel is in a historic building, and in a very convenient location to get around!

Stunning place to stay. The owners are very kind and always smiling. They were very helpful with any questions, extremely welcoming, very accommodating and generally pleasant to be around. The room was beautifully preserved, tidy and very spacious. I would rebook here in a heartbeat. It's location is fantastic - easily walkable to most things and really close to the Plaines of Abraham for a morning run.

We liked the location of the property as it was in the old city; close to many restaurants and stores; close to the lower waterfront and very walkable. Our room was very nice, but the chairs were not comfortable and there was not adequate dresser space.
We greatly enjoyed meeting and conversing with Marie and Elaine. They are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was a nice treat with a nice selection of baked goods. We would stay with them again when we return to Quebec.

Hotel was in an old house dating to 1820. It was filled with antiques collected by the owners. Each room was unique and very pleasing. The bed was one of the most comfortable on which we have slept.

This lovely, family run business is situated exactly where you want to be: just a few blocks from Chateau Frontenac, the Citadelle, numerous restaurants, shops, and other attractions, but on a quiet street itself, the location is ideal. The room we stayed in was pristine with tremendous charm and very comfortable in a well kept historic building. The staff were incredible, helpful, wonderful people with whom I very much enjoyed speaking. The breakfast of croissants, pastries, fruit, yogurt, etc. each morning was excellent. I honestly can't imagine a better place to have stayed. I would recommend without any hesitancy to anyone and everyone.

Our stay was most enjoyable. Elaine is one of the nicest people I've met and Marie was equally as pleasant! The room was clean, as was the entire facility. They asked every day if we needed anything changed or refreshed.
The continental breakfast each morning was kept stocked during the 2 hour breakfast window and constantly fresh. The location is great - by the Citadel and easy walking throughout Old Quebec as well as areas around St Louise and St. Jean. If you stay, walk along Joan of Arc Garden - Plaines d'Abraham to Cartier Street for a nice selection of restaurants, patisseries, cheese and chocolate shops. If we go back I wouldn't hesitate to book a room here again. There are a number of parking lots close by. We were able to leave the car for our entire stay of three nights and I believe the total cost was $50.00 US. The only thing you need to be aware of is that there are multiple stairs you will have to navigate. They have a luggage elevator that will bring them to your floor, but if you have any significant physical disabilities that make it difficult to climb it could be a problem. Our stay was a 10 out of 10!

Stayed for two nights 15/16 August 2022. This is a must-see property. Built in 1826, beautifully refurbished and updated. Owned by a descendant of the original family. Our hostess, Hélène was efficient, welcoming, charming and helpful. Excellent continental breakfast. Very close to everything. Many thanks to Hélène for a marvellous stay.

The owner Marie and her assistant Elaine are friendly and the fact that it is a house over 200 years made the stay that much more special. They are always looking to help and recommended places to go and paths to take which added thrills to the stay.

We wanted to spend 5 days in Old Quebec City as our first trip out of the country in several years. We couldn't have asked for a more suitable place to stay, given the quiet location, gracious host and beautiful antique room and breakfast area. The location was perfect for all our walking tours, shopping, cafes and eateries.

The property is in an okay location, and it is very quiet. However, for the expensive price of the hotel you are not truly getting a comfortable stay. There are limited amenities, and toiletries. We had to spend a lot of money to buy things at the pharmacy for our stay. Also, there is an expectation to take off shoes and wear slippers, it may be a better idea to offer shoe covers as I wasn't comfortable wearing slippers other guests used, and sometimes want to just be natural and comfortable when I enter in an out of the hotel. The included breakfast is also not very enjoyable, and we opted to go to a local breakfast spot which was better. However, in the end, I have no idea why the property is so expensive to stay at. Also, we work as psychologists and need stable internet and we were unable to rely on the internet at the house, and hardly had a connection.
