I would love to give 5* but somehow for no reason they will keep open the main door of the hotel and all the mosquitoes are in to sleep with you. Hope the management will take care of it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Crown. The hotel is well located and not overpriced. The room we booked, a double with balcony actually had two balcony's, it was clean and well presented with good aircon. We used the sky bar and the pool bar both were good with reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was a Khmer and Western buffet with the usual freshly cooked "egg station" really high quality. What made the hotel special was the staff, they were great, always polite and charming. We stay in Siem Reap often and this is the best "mid-priced" hotel that we have stayed in and will definitely stay again.

Not only does the Royal Crown Hotel have a certain colonial charm, but the personnel was also very helpful and accommodating. We were happy to return to this calm and cool haven after a day of visiting temples in Siem Reap and to enjoy a lovely meal. This hotel is exceptional in my opinion....

What I liked most was the very courteous staff and their generous assistance with every request.
What I didn’t like was not the hotel’s issue....it was the lack of a decent walking path to the market and Pub Street.

The Royal Crown was the most fabulous hotel in Siem Reap. French colonial architecture and furnishings, two pools, spa services, extremely helpful staff, most English speaking. They arranged our private tours to Angor Wat in advance. Location is perfect, only 3 blocks from central old town market, Pub Street lined with restaurants and all the other activities in the center of Siem Reap. I actually hated to leave. Rooms are spacious, some with balconies. The costs of spa services so reasonable. Dont miss this charmer.

Pleasant stay though the hotel is old for the price paid. we had a very big room on the top 5th floor with separate living room area which was nice. Downside is there was loud music from the rooftop bar in the night till abt 11pm. We were given a later check-out at 1pm (normal is 12pm) and staff were very keen we left on the dot of 1pm.

Really enjoyed this hotel. It was the perfect location and it had all the amenities you could want without me feeling like I was paying too much. It was a great deal for a really well run hotel.

Lovely hotel, clean, well located, pools were nice. Staff helpful is you have questions. We were in the fifth floor and under the rooftop bar so there was a lot of noise at night with tables and chairs being moved and then put away at the end of the night

Most of the staff doesn't speak or understand English. It is not 5 or 4 stars as they said.

Walk distance to night market so it is convenient and safe to walk in the evening.

We stayed here in March 2018 and loved the location of this hotel. There are many restaurants very close and a convenience store directly across the road.
Hard Rock Cafe is just down the road and it is a short walk across the bridge into the main part of Siem Reap. We only needed to arrange transport when we wanted to go to the temples etc and the Tuk Tuk drivers near the hard rock were great to organise this with.
The room was clean, however the bed a little hard for my taste, the staff were fantastic as well throughout our stay.
I would recommend for sure.

Good, but it is only near the beach. You have to take taxi to go to the city.

The room and staffs are excellent. But one thing, pick-up shuttle need to improve...the driver was late for appointment time and the car was not clean. We found few cockroaches inside it.

Staff were very friendly, and always smiling. Very helpful as well.
Front desk was very quick responding to requests. Breakfast selection was pretty wide.
The room's AC did not work well the first day but it was fixed quickly enough.
The hotel, as a whole, was clean.
We didnt get a chance to try the in-house spa massage though.
The hotel lift is a little slow but otherwise, its okay.
We requested for a smoking room on booking but was given a non smoking room on check in so that was a tad inconvenient.

Excellent, friendly and helpful staff, very convenient location, a few minutes walk to the Pub Market/ Old Market Area and maybe a 15-20 min drive on a TukTuk to Angkor Wat
Rooms are spacious; no ironing kit in the rooms but overall definitely worth it.

Royal Crown Hotel is a centrally located hotel in Siem Reap. I had a 4th floor, corner room which was very spacious and well appointed including a bath and a big balcony area. The breakfast offered a good variety of food and was plentiful. The pool area is lovely and well serviced for food and bar service. The staff are pleasant and helpful. There are reliable and obliging "hotel" tuk tuk drivers stationed directly outside the hotel who will respond to your needs regarding your travel plans for the day. They are honest and will go anywhere you request at a negotiated price and they provide excellent service. The main city area is just around the corner for your shopping, bar, cafe and restaurant needs. I stayed at the RCH for 7 nights and would very happily stay there again and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to friends and family.

This hotel is in a great location only a few minutes to the old market and to rows of restaurants and bars. The staff is friendly and accommodating and it is safe and clean. The two pools are lovely and the property is quiet at night.

Very Nice. Good place and not far from the street pub.

I was drawn to this hotel when searching in Siem Reap because a) it's not a glitzy place highlighted by garish LED lighting, which seemed pretty common there, and b) it's located within easy walking distance to laundry and plenty of shops. Lots of the HUGE hotels appear to be designed for tour groups, and are located near other similar hotels, but not much else.
The breakfast buffet was extremely extensive (western and Asian options, omelette bar, great variety of fruit, salad bar, sweets etc).
Laundry within the hotel was very pricey, but there are places just across the street that will do it by the Kg. And once you've crossed the street, you can also pick up supplies at the mini-market. Also 1 minute walk to the crafts/souvenir market, and within easy walk to many many restaurants.
The room was comfortable and clean, updated bathroom fixtures, good wifi, all the bonus toiletries you seem to get in Cambodia/Vietnam at good hotels--no complaints!
And if that's not enough, the price was very low, and they threw in a pick-up from the airport!

Good first impression on arrival. Friendly staff. Walking distance to centre of town. Quiet location.

This hotel is located just passed the small bridge from the tourist center, it's a 10 minute walk. Good pool and breakfast, good-sized room. There is a Costa Coffee just by the hotel, and laundry service also, way cheaper than at the hotel.

I'm giving the hotel a 3 because it says airport transportation is complementary however it is not. We asked to be picked up and were told only the way back to the airport is free but when we tried to schedule our ride back they said they do not do free transportation to the airport - nor is there a free area shuttle!
The pool is nice, only about 8 chairs. Spa is decent. The beds were extremely comfortable for Asian standards. The best thing was the breakfast. It had over 30 different options and they were all delicious! They do allow tour groups to have breakfast there so go early to get a good spot.

Good location: close to Old Market and Night Market, few blocks from Pub Street.
If you are looking for an hotel close to most attraction in town and don't want to spend too much, here is the place.
The service is ok, their english not perfect but they do the maximum to help you out.
One of their staff is driving a Tuk Tuk after service, we hired him to send us to a restaurant and at the end of the dinner he was there waiting for us. So we finally hired him for the rest of the evening and the kids enjoyed a ride in Tuk Tuk in Siem Reap by night!!!
