No hot water luke warm at best. It was freezing in the pool area because the door was left open to the outside all day and it was 40 degrees outside. Rooms smelled. Pull out bed has popcorn kernels all on it.

Everything was clean and all amenities worked and were available for use. All of the staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful.

I went down to get some hot tea and heard the check in employee screaming at a guest. I have no idea what provoked this behavior, but it was very unprofessional. The room was not as polished as rooms at other fairfield inns. Pillows were very small. Facility was under renovation but there were no signs. There were mattresses strewn in the parking lot instead of placed in the dumpster. Also the coffee was tepid at breakfast.

I was there 3 days and no house keeping was done. The beds were terrible. Hard has a brick. The lighting in the bathroom was so dim. Never again will I stay there.

They were replacing all the mattresses which was great, however, they were left in the hallway and in the staircases. They were sorta blocking emergency exits.

Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The issue was the rooms. We were welcomed with a strong smell of mold, which was found in the bathroom. Our mattress was awful, and patch work in the wall was clear they’ve had damaged. We were the for a hockey tournament, so all rooms in the area were booked.

Unfortunately our room was on the second floor and the elevator was out. Apparently there had been a power outage, and the elevator had failed to reboot. The fellow manning the front desk offered to help carry our luggage up as soon as he had someone who could watch the front desk. This is an older proprty, judging from the furniture. However, it was absolutely immaculate. The breakfast was also excellent. The prefab omelet with cheese was surprisingly tasty. Finding it was a bit of a hassle but it clearly is popular. The hotel was full on a Tuesday night.

It honestly was a great stay for me, but it was really based on if my wife liked it, cause she’s every picky when it comes to getting a room, and from my understanding she had a great experience as well. So with that being said, we would most definitely go back again!

My sister & i stayed here to attend a concert at Oak Mountain Amphitheater. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the Amphitheater. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff went above and beyond.

Good location for my purposes. Elevators are very slow - I had to use the stairs. No hand soap in the bathroom and none and the front desk when asked. Stayed 2 nights and housekeeping never came. Window in the room leaked during a storm and created a puddle. Internet kept going out.

I stayed here in March and loved it! I love the fact that I had a Suite and so much space I encourage my friends to choose Fairfield also but this time I had a regular room for the same price! I asked for a suite! My stay was uncomfortable and disappointing and I was embarrassed after bragging about how the rooms and service would be.

We did not make it to this destination due to vehicle breakdown. I was told I would not he charged when I spoke to the Fairfield Inn in Pelham. I have waited on a refund but nothing has been refunded. Thank you for checking into this matter

The staff and customer service made our stay great. The rooms were outdated, elevator and halls were not air conditioned (very hot in those parts in the summer), and only 1 elevator worked but aside from all that, the staff was absolutely wonderful. I would stay again just because of the customer service.

The front desk staff was great - very friendly and helpful. The wooden floor of the room above me was not great, and I had to listen to hundreds of footsteps from 0515 to 0545 - not fun at all. The AC motor was also very loud.

Pretty nice hotel, in what appears to be a decent area. Property starting to show it's age a little but, nice overall. Indoor pool is nice but, no longer have a hot tub as shown on website. Room is nice and has plenty of amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful. While able to be seen from the road ... not the easiest to get into/out of as, it sits behind a couple of smaller buildings on the corner of US 31 and Cahaba Valley Rd. I-65 is close by. Plenty of places to eat and stores to shop. Only here for one night but, enjoying so far ☺

On Thursday evening, I arrived a day earlier than my reservation. The hotel was booked due to a local concert. Tyler secured a Fairfield Inn hotel nearby for me. I stayed at Fairfield Inn Pelham on Friday/Saturday. Tyler and Ryan were superb and most helpful with directions and a later check in. Thanks Tyler and Ryan.

The staff was very helpful. I needed direction to a venue and they provided the information I needed. The lobby is updated and inviting. However the rooms needs some updating. I had to request a room change because the room I was given had evidence of previous water damage. The ceiling had bulging and a seam that confirmed water damage in the bathroom. There was an un cocked area along the shower seam that had black mold. I have asthma and knew this would be problematic for me. Also the tub looked as if it had been refurbished. Had some peeling, stained and needed to be replaced. I requested and got a better room.

The card key maker malfunctioned. I found I was charged $120.00 at the hotel upon checkin. Was told it would be backed off my account. It still is pending on my account.

The room door was hard to shut, the mini fridge had mold, the sink faucet was difficult to turn on and off, the shower curtain was dirty and falling apart. The towels were very hard and rough on my skin. The pillows were not comfortable. Just pay a little extra to stay at the Hilton next door.

Check in staff not friendly at all. Whatever happened to service with a smile? Mold was on the wall in the bathroom. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit on while attempting to watch tv. Overall nice hotel, and the room was spacious, with a comfortable bed.

Very friendly staff. Had a little trouble keeping the water hot in the shower and the air-conditioning made a loud clicking sound occasionally throughout the night but i was surprisingly able to sleep.

Excellent stay. This place checks all the boxes for me: great price, quick and efficient check-in, comfortable bed, modern bath and shower, quiet. I had to leave early, so I wasn't able to sample the breakfast, but everything else was great!
