Amazing stay!!! We stayed in the cottage and it is now in our yearly agenda!

Parking was horrible especially in the rain. No elevator and having a bad knee didn’t help. There was no mention of no television. Walls are paper thin. Had I known all of this ahead of time I would not have reserved this room.

Nice room no tv no inside bath but the baths are close and easy

We enjoyed our stay in one of the private cottages.

Always clean and well kept rooms. I’ve never had a problem with excessive noise from the patio, the restaurant is pricey, but convenient, and everything you need is within walking distance.

Such a wonderful little gem. Had no idea since it sits atop a brewery but what a fabulous place. Lovely and comfy rooms. Cute little sink inside. Showers hot and clean. Absolute perfect.
6.0
Convenient location and clean but it’s loud and there are bright lights shining all night that made it hard to sleep. You should add black out shades to the rooms.

Cool old building with rooms above the bar and restaurant. Pretty pricey considering shared bathrooms but the local alternatives were double the price. Good food and local wine in the tree-shaded garden.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Calistoga Inn. The amenities were spectacular. The staff was incredible. The accommodations were beautiful.

We booked the place despite the fact that we knew that the toilet is not in the room that we want to share, the place is excellent, the fact that the toilet is not in the room is inconvenient, but we knew what to expect, the staff is amazing and extraordinary, we loved it

it's not a hotel, but a restaurant, with tiny rooms upstairs, without any equipment. Shared shower in the corridor. The hotel is horrible. The restaurant is much better, they forgot to bring out the ordered soup, but the rib eye steak and pork chop were also very tasty and nicely served. We tasted two of their beers, and we expected more.

Great location with very good restaurant and brewery. Rooms were smallish but comfortable. Shared bathrooms were fine, clean and no waiting. Very good value compared to others in Napa

Place is great: located in the middle or the town is cute and adorable

Feel safe in a little town. Not difficult to find place parking on near by streets. Room furniture minimum to none.

While it is a charming, clean, and well kept place, the shared showers were unexpected. I realize that this is stated in the listing but raise your hand if anyone has stayed in a commercial hotel with a shared shower in the last, or say 50 years. It's an expected feature that rooms come with shower and toilets.
I also never check the listing if the windows have glass in them. I assume they do !!!.
BTW - rooms at Calistoga Inn facing Lincoln St. will need no alarms. Starting at 04:00 AM, trash trucks and street sweepers wake the entire Napa Valley !

We liked the room just fine - clean and pleasant. Didn't mind the shared restrooms - a small price to pay for a cheap room. BUT, the rooms do NOT darken at night, and the lights of the brewery/inn are on all NIGHT. It was almost impossible to sleep. The rooms need to add room darkening shades or curtains, or it will just NOT be possible to sleep. Very annoying.

In a sea full of very expensive hotels and motels, the Calistoga Inn offers a more affordable experience for the Napa Valley Area. Don't let the shared bathrooms dismay you, for a 3 night visit, there were only a handful of times where I even saw anyone in the bathroom, much less had to wait on facilities. The staff are attentive and helpful, and there was nothing I would change about our experience.

Lovely rooms with excellent firm beds, really clean, nicely appointed.

One of the neatest, cleanest, yet very simple hotel rooms! I like it a lot! Very convenient location! Plan to Come back again there!

The Inn has great character and we loved the room. The only negative was that we were facing the main road and the traffic noise was pretty loud- earplugs are provided here! We had no noise issues at all from the restaurant/bar below.
Had an excellent meal at the restaurant with great service. Good selection of wines and liquors. Menu had lots of options- we tried the seafood fettuccine and the grilled pork chop. Both very tasty. Its pricy, but worth every penny.
Would recommend, thank you

Very cozy and quiet! I was uncertain about the shared bathrooms but they’re fairly private with 2 separate bathroom stalls and 2 separate shower stalls. It’s in a great location within walking distance of local restaurants, a breakfast spot, and the grocery store.

Excellent food, choice of wines, great service, pleasant spaces inside and outside. Bedroom and rest room were generally clean except bedroom floor was very dusty and needed thorough vacuuming.

Very nice cottage in a lovely area. Only thing was that the walls were very thin and was easy to hear people in building connected to the cottage, could even hear the TV in their room. Otherwise everything else was fantastic.

This is place is adorable. We were a little concerned about the shower and bathroom not being in the rooms but they were very accessible and very clean. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location and rooms. I wish I could give this 5 stars, but the noise level (rooms 6 and 7) from the kitchen was unbearable. Even with ear plugs. We were there for 4 evenings.

Always a great stay here! One of our favorite places in Calistoga to eat and stay.
2.0
No attached bathrom/toilet - communal shared toilet and bathrooms ( male and female seperated ). Which is all fine if you are aware, except the shared male toilet flush broke down - it was not fixed/signed so it was a real unplesant mess by the end of the day ( just 2 toilets per male/female bathroom, so not much choices there to avoid the smell or the sight). Not to mention the queue for the working toilet.
Walls are thing so be prepared to hear your neighbors conversation and night noises.
