Great mother daughter get away. Fun and laid back environment.

Parking and check-in were super easy. This is more of a motel than a hotel or a resort but it was still really nice. It is a walk up window to order food at the restaurant, but the food was pretty good. I wish it had a full bar, but they only had beer and wine and wine-based cocktails. The pools were great, even in the freezing rain. I tried to book us some massages three weeks before our arrival, but they were already booked up so that was pretty annoying but not a big deal. Had to walk to a spa across the street in the rain. The room was spacious and updated and we had a very good night of sleep.

Great spot and location, extremely clean and spacious. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Called at 9 AM to ask what time our room was ready. Was told by 2:30 PM. Showed up and the lobby was a mess. People in wet bathing suits waiting for their rooms and it was past 4 PM. Staff at the front desk were rude and discourteous to guests. Manager was told how bad service was. All he said was that he knew that, and they were short staffed. At $300 per night, I expect more. This place is a notch above Motel 6 with disgruntled staff that should work at CA DMV. Avoid at all costs. Food sucks.

The one outdoor pool was really nice but the other outdoor pool was cold. The environment was really noisy from the doors being heavy and closing loudly. You could also hear the other guests in their rooms above and next to you. The restaurant had a great food.

Wonderful. A classic property now modernized in the great and quaint town of Calistoga. This property is a partner of the Marriott. You get your Bonvoy points.
Restaurant excellent. Facility spotless.
Only negative.. remember this is a motel.. so entrance to rooms from outside, parking lot a ways from entrance to rooms and you will hear some road traffic. But this is a motel.. that has been beautifully remodeled with excellent food and service. Enjoy the mineral spring hot pool and swimming pool. Relax and enjoy the spa after a few winery tours nearby. Worth it.

I stayed with my mom recently, and we enjoyed it. The warm pool, not the covered hot tub, wasn't hot enough, in our opinion, considering the chilly wind, but we enjoyed it. The room was very nicely furnished, and we enjoyed the hotel restaurant. It had tasty and healthy breakfast options.

The overall layout was great! The appearance was always clean and tidy, and one area flows into the other. The outdoor seating and picnic area was great immediately adjacent to the food and beverage service. The only recommendation I have is for the front desk staff to either give brief tour or provide map identifying the areas and easiest access to the adult only spa.

It was not the relaxing visit I had hoped for. My daughter and I arrived Wednesday around 8 pm for two nights. We were tired and went straight to our room. Immediately we heard a dog in the room next door that barked non—stop for over an hour. I live next to several dogs at home on either side of me that bark a lot so I was feeling cursed. I texted the front desk twice and they said they had called the absent dog owners to address the issue. Why even allow dogs at a spa where wellness and quiet should go hand in hand? Obviously This was not a service dog as the owners had left it alone. Additionally there were four guests that were obnoxiously loud and possibly very drunk that arrived in the hot spa every time I visited. I noticed a small sign that recommended “quiet” on the gate before entering. There needs to be a larger sign inside the spa and enforcement from the staff. The last straw was the slamming of doors every time someone exited their room. Everywhere we go these days the world is getting noisier and people seem to be in inconsiderate bubbles, but it shouldn’t be expected at places that highlight wellness and relaxation. Also, they have a weird policy that you have to contact the front desk to open the gate to let you in each time you visit the hot spa. On the plus side, the room was clean and the food was good. Check out was Veteran’s day. I wasn’t asked about my visit so I’m leaving that feedback here in the hopes this helps guests who are sensitive to noise.

I like the location. It is walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Calistoga. The beds were comfy and AC came in handy since it was still hot. Mineral pools were lovely! Staff was very accommodating and helpful and friendly. I loved that they are pet friendly. It would be nice to have courtesy coffee available in lobby in the morning. That was the only thing I would change.

Loved the ambiance… such an eco-friendly hotel with a current pulse on food, fun and relaxation. The pools are well maintained and the rooms are spacious and updated… very easy to fall into relaxation quickly at a place like this.

Over priced motel. Overall, I am disgusted by the $600/night price tag and the experience I had.
They have high-end products like bath products from Malin+Goetz, blow dryers by Dry Bar, a robe by Parachute or a water kettle by Smeg…but the keyless entry didn’t work, our a/c had issues, our refrigerator was not working properly, and the single pane window rattle all night due to the wind. Had the worst sleep because you can hear everything.
We wanted to grab a snack at the kitchen the first night we were there since the kitchen was supposedly open until 10, but we’re told, when we visited at 9:00, that the kitchen was closed due to a private event. When we asked the staff what options we had to grab a bite in Calistoga, we were told to Google places.
We eat at the House of Better for breakfast. The food was OK, but one individual in our party ordered the avocado toast with the $3 extra for the poached egg (approx. $18 total) and the egg was hard boiled, another guest in our party ordered a side of toast, and got ONE piece of toast!
When we checked out the person at the front desk asked us how our $1500, 2 night stay was, we told her not the best. She said, I am sorry, here is a bag of bath salts! Talk about pouring salt on a fresh wound.
Overall, I would not have had issues had my total price been a third of what I paid. But when the cost is $600 per night, I expect more. Sorry Doc, I will not be back!

This was such a fun stay for our anniversary stop in Calistoga. Walkable to lots of restaurants and the Solage spa… super cute property and even felt kid friendly if we wanted to come back with our littles. Jose’ was a great host!

Pleasing staff. They go out of their way for you!

Ughgh save your $$ and book something in the city. Cost must just be for approximity to the beach & still its at least a walk block. It is an old & run down property that they try to fix by putting a DJ in the lobby. No where to take the dogs potty & no restaurants open late night near by. Oh & not the deal breaker but the tv only has local cable. You cant even log onto Netflix.

Dissapointment! We were expecting an amazing stay for 500 dollars. Spa prices are ridicillous, and all booked. Rooms are dark and simple. This is nothing more than a motel with a paintbrush.

Rocky at the front desk was a great beginning. She later helped me with a WiFi issue that saved the day. I was so tired when I first arrived I think I misspelled my initial rave review regarding her. Sorry. I really appreciated her manner and her help.

Super fun retro vibe. Updated and clean. We were there on spring break with our teenage kids and they enjoyed the property as well.

Plumbing problems; Rude spa management; Lackluster customer service; Slow food service; Lazy wait staff (dirty tables galore); Altogether not worth the price -- just splurge and go to Indian Springs.

The highlight is the hot tub, beyond that this is highly overpriced motel. Will not visit again.

Upgraded to room with view which was lovely. Hot mineral pool was wonderful. There was less access to management customer service than I would like. There was a sense that it was up to us to figure things out. But overall it was a great experience.

It was amazing and I plan on doing it again soon.

Great location and loved the hot pool

The pools are excellent;
The staff are friendly;
The room got no chairs;
Often bumps my head to the bed due to settings in the victory house. I don’t think anybody could avoid it due to its settings.
