Simple up north fishing trip, so we were looking for a basic place to stay. The room fit the bill - bed, bathroom, fridge, microwave, Keurig. Small room, but clean and comfortable.

You can see the lake from our room. Nice little courtyard near the water. Nice chairs over looking beach and water. 1 minute walk from room to water

Very relaxed environment with gorgeous views of Crystal Lake. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Host was very welcoming. I would highly recommend this resort!

Crystal Lake Resort has its own small beach to allow great access to Crystal Lake right outside your room/cottage. It’s close to all of the businesses in Beulah and is only 10 minutes to Frankfort. The room was simple but clean and had everything you’d need from a hotel room.

We will visit this place again! Wonderful cottages, nice staff and location close to downtown. We rode our bikes down to dinner ant the local brewery! Only 25 minute drive to sleeping bear along beautiful M-22.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Cute little place with very clean rooms and friendly staff. Can’t beat the open courtyard in back with a lovely lake view and space to sit along the shore. Nothing crazy fancy but like I said, the rooms were very clean and even had a refrigerator, microwave and Keurig. We would definitely come back.

No water pressure to take a shower and bathroom was very small. Rooms were clean but not worth what they raise the rates on weekends

Loved this cottage and will definitely be back. The owners are amazing and the restaurant they recommended we ate at twice since it was so good!

This place was clean and well maintained. The room was functional and everything except the exhaust fan in the bathroom was was in good working order. On the other hand, it was definitely the one of the smallest rooms we have ever stayed in, especially for the money. The parking lot is barely adequate for manuvering and we got stuck on the ground floor with the door facing the highway only a few yards away. Fortunately there was very little traffic at night so it wasn't too noisy, but it would have been much better to have one of the rooms with the lake view instead. Overall the whole area was very calm but there is nowhere to get breakfast in the immediate vicinity besides McDonald's a few miles away. During the day there a handful of restaurants to choose from but every place except a couple of bars closed quite early. If you are looking for access to Crystal Lake specifically, this place is alright. If you are going to the sand dunes national lakeshore you would honestly be better off to book a place in Traverse City.

Stayed for 3 nights at Crystal Lake Resort. It is an older resort and the age shows. It was very clean, but the rooms are small (including the bathroom). The room felt damp with humidity for the entire stay. Location was okay, but just on the edge of being out of walking distance to restaurants and shops.

When I checked in, I found the room did not cleaned after former guest left. The owner changed me to another inn where room was small, noise, no lake view, but charged me the same price. The owner was dishonest.

We enjoyed the view and quite heat system but l couldn’t get my shower to work. I need instructions to follow apparently. Very comfortable regardless.

The view of Crystal Lake was beautiful, the room was adequate- but had lots of tiny flies and spider webs (with spiders) in the ceiling corners. Most of the staff was very nice, but when my dad asked for a Decaf K-cup at the front desk (all we had was caffeine), he was basically accused of stealing, which seemed pretty rude considering how much we were paying for a motel room. Otherwise, it suited its purpose.
