Called the front desk three times asking for more towels. They never came or apologized. Finally found towels on a cart in the hall. They overcharged for parking and promised to return my phone call in a half hour which never happened. Just has to eat the $70 charge. Beds all sagged in the middle. Unfortunate that service was so bad because the hotel itself was clean and updated.

I really like the hotel, the rooms, the staff, the restaurant and the included breakfast. Plus, it’s a short walk to downtown KC.

Bedding and pillows were horrible. No comfort at all. Our room sounded like it was above the entryway because you’re the doors opening and closing nonstop outside noise kept us awake all night long. Room had a funny smell.

The bed literally was in a U shape. Middle caving in. Pillows were horrible and the noises and sounds that the fridge made was nonstop. TV remote didn’t work and neither did the TV manually.

The check in lady was absolutely awesome!!!! She was friendly and so nice.
The rest of the staff. They need customer service &. Communication training.
I get for energy saving reasons but there needs to be other settings or something, the air conditioning is on a movement sensor so it shuts off after 4 hours. That's always nice on a top floor to wake up sticky in the middle of the night to turn back on the AC 😒
Also we were very rudely told the valet service was not part of the hotel, which is fine but I'm commenting about it on here cause it sucked!

I turn the air on in the room when we first got there. The room was at 78°. The room never cool down I called the front desk someone came up the air ran for part of the day and never got below 78° even though there’s a thermostat in the room for you to turn the heat on in the air on it is not work maintenance has got to come up and turn it on The faucet for the shower kept falling off the room itself was very nice the kitchen it was right up our alley. We always supply our own food when we go on vacations to help keep cost down our car got broken into in the secure valet parking they shattered our window and pried open our door , the head of valet contacted my husband he came down right away. They called the police they filed a report. He got all the information for their hotel to pay for it. They try to find a glass person to come out and fix it before we left this was a Sunday afternoon and no glass store would answer the phone so we drove back with duck tape on our windows

Comfortable and clean room with all the essentials. Nice breakfast and the pool/gym is a plus. I liked the location, walkable to the convention center and lots of restaurants to choose from in the area.

Wonderful hotel! Stayed here with 3 other guests for AWP conference and was blown away by most of the experience. The studio was quite spacious and cleaned nicely upon our arrival. Although, some staff interaction at the Bistro Bar could have been better (kind of snubbed me when asking about a food items), but generally very friendly employees. Definitely would come back, just maybe not go to the bar :)

The hotel staff were very nice and easy to deal with. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaints 1. Luke warm showers, if that. And it took 15 plus minutes to even get that warm. I don’t expect a lot from hotels honestly but a hot shower is something I don’t like to compromise on. 2. There were zero towels at the pool, so I went to the front desk to ask for some. They said they would have someone bring them, 30-45 min later they still hadn’t. So I ran upstairs to get our room towels. Then when we left the pool I went to request more room towels, never came. So I had to request them again the next morning, luckily they were fairly quick that time. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience and I would try it again. But if I get a similar experience a second time I probably wouldn’t be back

Great location and a really nice room. We were in town for family and shopping. The only issue was I was charged for valet, but never once used it. The employee at checkout resolved the issue. I'd stay here again and again.

Check in and check out were fast. We didnt have hot water most of the time during our 2 night stay. Traffic was noisy in the corner suite. There was a loud sound like water hitting a metal pan coming from the wall/ceiling all hours of the night. The pull out sofa mattress was shot and in horrible condition.

Clean hotel, great location.
They were only valeting cars when we arrived, which is strange since they have a garage. That was not apparent when we reserved. There are several surface lots nearby.
Housekeeping and front desk were extremely slow to requests for fresh towels, toilet paper and Kleenex.
If you’re there for a short time with no car to manage, it’s probably a good experience overall. We were there for a week for family events and it became pretty annoying for a family of four.

For such a nice place, there was NO hot water in the morning, which sucked. No real apology from the staff, just it is what it is. No compensation, no anything. the "breakfast" if you could call it that really wasn't much to speak about. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. But all that doesn't really matter if I can't get a shower.

I was pretty satisfied until the valet let me rental car get stolen around 2:05 a.m. as I was trying to get to the airport. It has been more than 11 hours and no one from the hotel has contacted be yet about my stolen rental car.

Everything was excellent except for one small item. The light outside of the bath (near a table/mirror across from the closet had an unusually dim light. This was an area where a woman may put on makeup or do some ironing. The low lumen bulb should be replaced with a greater lumen bulb.

This is one of the nicest Residence Inn properties I've ever stayed at! The lobby looked very modern and upscale and clean. The rooms were also very clean and all the essentials were provided in the room. We had a little trouble with the AC cooling down the room but it was cool by the night time (we were in the corner suite on the 8th floor and it was over 100 degrees that day so it makes sense that it was a little hot). The hotel staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The parking was very limited, so we almost did the valet (which costs about $32 I believe) but they were kind enough to point out that there was an open parking spot along the street that we missed for free parking! It was an overall excellent experience and we would definitely stay there again!

The Residence Inn was a perfect location for me to stay for a conference. The rooms are huge, have a full kitchen and supplies, and the bed is comfy. Breakfast is free and there were great options including fresh waffles. The hotel is close to everything and a block away from the FREE air-conditioned street car. My conference was at the convention center and all I had to do was cross the street and enter the back door of the Loew’s hotel, take an elevator, and then I was in the convention space. The Residence Inn is a huge bang for your buck!

Be sure to utilize city parking lot next door for $12/day instead of hotel valet at $32/day. Quite a bit of city street noise, so request a higher floor if possible.
