Location, location, location! Our 3rd floor corner room had views of both the fast-flowing Hood river and the lazy Columbia. Hotel staff were beyond friendly and accommodating, the room was clean as a whistle, quiet, and spacious, and well stocked with toiletries and coffee items. Blackout curtains kept the sunshine at bay until we were ready! Morning breakfast was quite a bonanza with a cereal station, hot buffet, baked goods, make your own waffles, fruit & yogurt, and oatmeal & granola. The coffee station was also impressive! Great walking paths for us and our pooch to explore (p.s. they love dogs here!) and an easy jaunt under the highway and up into town. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect area - right in the middle of everything. So close to food and entertainment. And best part was Tina!!! That woman was amazing. Friendly, helpful, gave us background of Beacon Rock. She is the best part of our stay! Thank you Tina for being amazing. She truly was one of the best parts of our trip!

Stay was fine. One complaint is that rooms have almost zero sound proofing. You can hear everything going on in rooms next door and hallway. Dog barking non-stop 2 rooms down keep us up.

Receptionist was too busy for her our reservation was lost in space for 3 rooms paid in full on hotels .com. Implied she was not able to help because we paid through a “third party. Finally a “supervisor” came in and solved the non problem without even talking to us. Lot of people waiting behind us was an embarrassment for all evolved.

The staff at the Hampton were excellent: front desk, housekeeping, breakfast crew. Everyone was helpful, polite, and friendly. We will stay here again.

Hotel has beautiful views and it is in great location. My only complain and reason why we won’t be back is the fact that any windows open at all for ventilation or fresh air, the room was clean but smell horrible.

Good location for walking to restaurants and breweries. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub around 9pm after the children had left. Room was a little noisy and stuffy but overall it was good. Everything was clean.

This was definitely a five-star experience. The hotel is in fine shape, seems very new, very clean. Staff members were amazing, from our check-in to our breakfast servers. Wow -- we want to stay here again soon.

Came to Hood River for my birthday weekend with my family so we could do the train and enjoy a different part of Oregon. The staff were very friendly and attentive to needs a they came up. The breakfast options were really good both mornings. The pool always had towels available every time my family went down. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking to stay in Hood River. Thank you for your hospitality.

Tina, the most friendly fun concierge and welcoming check-in agent ever. We love a hotel that leaves free bottles of water in the room and sells good quality wine 🍷 in lobby. The beds and pillows are very comfy and hotel has my favorite layout of shower -toilet separated by door from vanity sink area(you can blowdry hair without humidity of someone in the shower!) Home baked cookies in the evening and so handy to have breakfast bar items in the morning or hot coffee to go.

It was my husband and I and our dog. Room was perfect with two queens it gave us lots of room for a large dog bed as well. The bathroom was very large, bright and clean! No spooky corners ;) It was in a convenient location to take advantage of the walking trails along the river and restaurants across from the park.

We are 3 friends who only see eachother 2 times per year. This was a great meet up spot. Walking along the riverfront was beautiful. A handful of food options ithin walking distance. Nice rocky beach area to hang out on. Quick drive (or longer walk) to cute shops and more food options. Perfect stay to enjoy the fruitloop!
