It’s colorful and location is good. It’s a Days Inn. Food and bar are unique. Large “Resort fees” Even for VIP members. They said they would wave a day’s charge but never did.

The staff was very helpful in providing information for public transportation

Fun, contemporary, clean, kind, and welcoming.

Great staff, basic hotel, great price, great location, easy parking. Weird thing is that all parking spot lines are blue, so no, they are not all handicap spots. The elevator in the back building is very noisy. Avoid rooms 231 and 331.

Wonderful wonderful stay! Will definitely come again next time we're in Boston. Affordable for the area, amazing Staff, whole place was very clean, and breakfast was PERFECT. Only complaint would be that the room AC was uneditable, so it was stuck at 70, and all of us liked the temp lower. Still, would happily go here again!

Not in love with the new food service. I liked the previous breakfast buffet. This new service took too much time to get and the free breakfast was too limited in choice. The food tasted like it was prepared meal just pulled from a case and microwaved. I usually don't have much time in the AM and that is what was nice about the breakfast buffet...grab and go, not sit and wait. Much better selection with the old Buffet. I'm sure this will save them money but....

Very unique. But we were not in the main building and not very convenient going up/down stairs with luggage because the elevator was out of service. Appreciated the location/free parking though

Convenient to the Boston area and FREE PARKING! amazing. Staff was courteous and friendly. "Social hour" from 4:30-6:00pm Fri and Sat with wine selection. Extensive "continental" breakfast.

The front desk gentleman was professional and yet, considering. The hotel room was excellent.

The staff is very kind; a good breakfast, good enough gym and nice furniture and decoration. If you don't need nothing different to a nice and clean room with a good bed and all previously commented, this is your place. Thank you guys, only success in 2024.

Generally a good place

I paid over $500 for 2 rooms. When we got there, we were not given adjoining rooms as promised. Then we were hit with $150 in facility fees and given a ridiculous explanation blaming Experian for not advertising them correctly. I should have been given a tag for my car and after finding a note on it that threatened to tow me away, they gave it to me. There is no restaurant on premises which adds to the disappointment of being overcharged. Staff was not very friendly. I will not return this place ever.

The property feels like it needs an updating. Elevators felt like they may not make the trek.

Ample free parking was great, especially in a city where things are so expensive. Room was ok, kinda pricey for how basic it was. Staff was nice, the complementary wine was a nice touch too.

Great Boutique Hotel. Have been to Boston on business many times but never stayed in Alston neighborhood…took a chance on this last minute booking. Fun neighborhood with great dining options walkable. Room not fancy but more than adequate; comfortable, spacious, clean and nice linens. Reception desk was very, very nice and helpful. “Continental” breakfast was much more than typical continental and more than satiating with plenty of good options and good coffee. Parking included…in Boston!! I’ll stay here again.

Staff was nice and knowledgeable. The breakfast was lovely, coffee was great. The had a Saturday wine social. The staff made great dining recommendations. They could have had and used more recycling containers in the dining room. Johnathen had a great idea for an opportunity to be creative. He helped us with the yoga glass, one of the female staff recommended our restaurant- Lulu Allston , which we took our friends to for drinks and dinner for a birthday celebration, was so fun- and Shawn gave us a room over looking at the river- we got to watch the rowing teams with fall colors. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, thank you so much. We loved visiting Boston!

Great convenient place to stay!

Bathroom needs to be updated. Sink was peeling same in the bathroom although the room was very clean. There are steps to get into the south building instead of an elevator or ramp for luggage purposes. Ni water bottles offered breakfast was mediocre at best

Very nice hotel, we'll stay again!

The building is a bit older with a lot of bold colored paint that hides some of the shabbiness. The glasses in the bathroom didn't look clean. Given a microwave for the room at no extra cost. The continental breakfast was huge with fresh pastries. Staff was very helpful. Nice outdoor courtyard off the breakfast area. Has a pingpong table in the lobby. Charged $4 for a can of diet coke. With tax++ it ended up being $400/night. That's a bit pricey. I would come back again, if I could get a better price.

First the good: I slept well at this hotel and that’s the most important thing! The breakfast was great and the bed was comfortable. And I found the staff kind and helpful during check in/check out and when they made sure I received a delivery.
Things I would want to know: I was in the north building and found it quite loud with traffic noise and the building itself (not really other guests but the elevator noise, doors, etc.). Also I think when they updated the spaces there just wasn’t a ton of attention to detail - paint stains on the carpet and bathroom floor and stuff like that which just took away from the hip new look.

Very funky decor! Comfortable and great location!

The wallpaper had giant guerrillas, a tiger a camel and a hawk staring at us. My daughter stated it reminded her of "The Veldt." The beds were hard as a rock. Bathroom was extremely small. The hotel was not full but they put a family with a crying baby directly across from us. I will not be staying there again.

First trip to Boston so we were flying blind-found this to be a great location, close to everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend.

The hotel was average at best. They have a resort fee, despite having absolutely nothing resort-like— continental breakfast does not a resort make. An extra $35 if you arrive before the 4pm check in time— all good. I can hang. I get it.
But here’s the real kicker. We showed up in October on a 40 degree night and the entire hotel had no heat. It was a planned switch over with the boiler. Did they notify us? Of course not. When I called to the front desk to ask about it, they offered me a blanked. Because my friend and I want to snuggle under a blanket together all evening.
Eventually they arrived with a space heater, which allowed us the option to be fully dried out and fried or freezing. The service was horrible and I certainly would not have chosen this option if they had been forthcoming. It was frankly just bad business practice. It was supposed to be a VIP booking, it was anything but.

The is a very basic hotel. For the price it does not have any great amenities. Breakfast was not particularly good.

The elevators are poorly maintained. The breakfast was below average. The bathroom door didn't close properly. It's very expensive for what it is.

The staff were fantastic but the facilities were lacking.
