Hotel is close to everything. It is quaint and full of character. Gentleman in charge is very accommodating and his breakfast was superb.

We found it great fun to stay in such a different environment than we’d ever stayed in before.
Phillip saw that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

It was clean and well taken care....the bed that we had was a little bit rocky....

Very beautiful place. One of the best b&b's we have stayed in. Close to everything. Access to the garage.

Fantastic antiques enrich this B&B visually. Great breakfast in a gorgeous dining room in a great setting in an interesting and lively neighbourhood.

Enjoyed our visit.

After a long and weary train ride, we arrived at the property at approximately 9:15 pm. Unbeknownst to us, the doors to the property were locked with a sign that indicated guests would not be welcomed after 8:00 pm. No one answered our phone calls or the doorbell. We made other arrangements at a different location. Obviously, I cannot comment on the condition of the property.

The B&B was so clean, I don’t think there was a bit of dust to be found. The free parking was a really nice touch and was only a few min walk away. The breakfast was good. We stayed in the grand suite my only wish was that the TV was bigger and maybe mounted on the wall or put in the bedroom. The B&B was locked at all times so we felt safe during our stay. We stayed in late September and the AC seemed to be off but we opened the window and packed a little fan so the temperature wasn’t too bad. A fun little touch was there was a cd player in the grand suite, we were able to listen to a new cd we picked up on our trip

Decor is beautiful. Room was clean and nice size.Great location. Nice breakfast. Free parking provided (10 minute walk away). Must be OK with stairs.

The lobby and restaurant have a dignified atmosphere with historic furniture, and the room we stayed in had ample space with two bedrooms and a living room.
The staff were gentlemen with a calm demeanor and were kind enough to accommodate us even though we didn't speak English well.
The hotel is a little far from Old Quebec, but there is a bus stop just outside the entrance, and you can take the frequent bus number 807 to the bus terminal, then transfer to bus number 11 for a smooth ride to the tourist center. I can come and go. However, please note that the street in front of the hotel becomes a pedestrian paradise only on the weekend we stayed, and regular buses will take a detour.

Beautiful B&B thats an easy walk to old Quebec City. Located on a vibrant street. The host was welcoming and responsive. We loved our garden view room and the secret garden. Breakfat was fabulous...french pressed coffee, made to order eggs, meat, cheese, fruit, and cookies. Great value. Would definitely stay again.

Like: the decor is extremely charming and very clean. The breakfast is excellent. The parking is not onsite but only a 8 - 10 min walk away in a locked garage and it's free. The inn keeper Phillipe is a man of few words but very helpful.
Don't like: the mattress is extremely worn, the furniture cushions are also so soft the you avoid to sit on.

The host Pierre is great. Breakfast is a feast. The house has amazing rooms with many antiques

What an amazing property this is! It was so unique and like stepping into a film set. Absolutely loved it! The property is in a good location with a 15 min walk to the start of old Quebec. There are many bars and restaurants close to the B&B and along the walk to the old town. Off site parking was available but is limited and so should be arranged in advanced. Breakfast was served in potentially one of the best dining rooms ever and was mainly continental with the addition of eggs cooked to your liking. This isn't just a place to stay on a trip but becomes part of the trip. Fantastic. Only minor downside was that the third bed (in the room with space for three) was a fold up and a little small.

We were fortunate to have the king bedroom which was so much larger than expected. We were pleasantly surprised with the grandeur and beauty of the home. It is truly a unique experience. Just be sure to check in before 9pm, otherwise you will not be allowed to stay that evening.

Entering this property is like taking a step back in time… two centuries, actually.
The owners have successfully returned this house to its former glory with every detail.
And yet, the comfortable bed, the available hot water and water pressure in the bathroom are as good as it gets to ensure a wonderful stay.
My wife and I also enjoyed an excellent breakfast provided by Phillip.
We had no issues with check in or check out and parking for our SUV was fine.
Terrific location to explore the old city.

This b&b was beautifully decorated and very clean. It was in a great location with easy walking to old town. If you are tall don’t get the loft room as ceilings are low. The host didn’t talk much but was polite. Good breakfast. I would recommend.

The caretakers of this property really look after the condition of the B&B and thoughtfully provide everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent!

The decor is as if you were in 1890. High ceilings chandeliers. As in the old days there is no phone in the room. We did not mind it. Pedestrian street outside the chateau. Good breakfast, hot.

The bed had an awning so i felt like a queen sleeping under it. Very convenient location

A very unique property where the host bends over backwards to accomadate you. Quebec hospitality at its finest.!

This renovated turn of century estate had Polish of updated renovations with old world charm in period furnishings. Phillipe was extremely helpful and even printed items for us. The breakfast had nice assortment of cold items and eggs to order. I would definitely like to spend more time here. Lots of nice sitting areas. Only downside was no elevator. Hauling bags to 3rd floor was a endurance test. He allowed us to keep bags downstairs after checkout. Definitely recommend staying here if no mobility issues.

I had a really nice stay at Chateau du Faubourg, unfortunately I had a very long drive the following day so I missed out on breakfast.
The room was clean and fit in the style of the whole home, it was like stepping into a baroque painting.
It was difficult for me to find the B&B, GPS said it was in between two streets and the entrance is not at street level so I missed it from my car while lapping the block but the owner was very kind and answered my call when I was lost!

The place is clean and the service is excellent. The apartment in the back of the house has a kitchen and a bath, but it is not as historically amazing as the front of the chateau. Door handles are loose and the floors are uneven, but the bedroom and living room are large and comfortable, and the apartment has everything and is highly functional. Parking is an issue. It is detached and requires maneuvering a 13 or so step exterior metal stairs and then a 4 or so step wooden stairs. Not ideal if you have heavy luggage. I, however, would definitely stay here again. The location is good.

This B&B is all about style. From the entrance I felt as stepping into museum!
The house has stile of 19th century nobility house, and yet with all modern attributes such as modern bath as present in each room. House host was welcoming and helpful. Overall very good experience!

We loved the old world character of this building. The back garden looked pretty, however the manager was working out there all the time, so, unfortunately, I felt that trying to enjoy the garden would be intruding, so, nice to look at but not enjoy. The room was amazing, all furnished with period pieces, absolutely luxuriously beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent also. It was convenient getting one of the parking garage spaces. The location was straight up the street from the old town, so very walkable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The house was elegant and comfortable.
But, there were no fridge in the room and no extra sheet available.

Excellent t location, easy walk to Old Quebec. The property was spotless and spacious. The bed comfortable and the room quiet. The breakfast was beyond our expectations and the staff excellent and helpful. We were also able to park there which was great since Quebec is one hour parking until 5:00 in the area. A very unique and historical place.

The location is good and the property inside make you feel like you are in a museum. Breakfast was very nice and served in a nicely set dinning room. Beautiful garden and overall was a nice experience .

Very unique property that could be so much more than it is. Bathroom was not clean, shower curtain looked as though it hadn’t been washed in some time(build up of soap scum) no grab bars anywhere near large claw foot tub to use to get in and out of. Lots of curly hairs on floor that were not ours. Breakfast was eggs and toast with the option of dry cereals and fruit, for a bed and breakfast I expected more. The best parts were the covered free parking, location and building uniqueness.

Stunningly beautiful and luxurious. Great location as well. Excellent breakfast too.
