We had trouble checking in as our credit card deposit didn't seem to allow them to get us registered, so they had to take a second deposit for it to work. We were also a few minutes late checking out, while definitely our fault, we were spoken to quite rudely by a staff member because we hadn't left the room yet. I assured him we would only be a few minutes but he proceeded to wait outside our room until we left. No understanding whatsoever. Heating and cooling system in the room is also quite loud.

The room was clean and the breakfast was really good. The staff interactions were okay. What was not okay was the location. Lots of drug use right outside the window.We didn’t feel safe leaving the hotel at night.

My partner, and I did not anticipate how soft the beds were in the room, everything else was in great condition condition, but the bed did not mean our expectations
In addition, the conditioner in the shower was empty, and in the main lobby, food area, the hot water dispenser was full of coffee grounds
The balance of the hotel was amazing

Service was exceptional and staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't realize they no longer provide clean towels everyday but when we called to the front desk they brought us extra towels right away. Breakfast was very good and rooms were clean and quiet.

Loved the breakfast buffet.
Plenty of options, boiled eggs, omelets, sausage,waffle, french toast, toast, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt etc.
Also like that the new leisure pool is right next door, great place to go with kids

Nice Hotel very close to The Keg restaurant and other places such as a Starbucks and Brewery. Parking lot was small but manageable for a long box crew cab truck.
Front desk wasn’t very friendly. Didn’t greet me when I went up to the counter. The breakfast was not very good.

My Hotel stay was great. The room was super clean and I had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was really nice and it opens at 6:00am which works great for me as I start work at 7am. The restaurant has very limited choices and is unmanned so I ate out for dinner. The area around the property is sketchy so be careful walking alone at night. The one thing that I did not like was the fact that they had no electrical outlets in the parking lot to plug in your vehicle. When I was there temps dropped to -45 overnight and my vehicle did not start the next morning so I had to call a tow truck to boost my vehicle.

Hotel itself is nice. Staff is really friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was MUCH better than expected.
BONUS - Tesla destination charger in the back and the pool next door (200 feet away) has a J1772 charger for us non-telsa EV people (and its free 6kW).
Issue, and not much the hotel can do about this, is downtown PG is a bit 'intimidating'. Lots of folks wondering around, poking in garbage cans. I did not feel safe in the area and while the hotel parking is good, anywhere around the area was 'less good'.

Stay was good. Breakfast every morning. It’s always pork sausages though need to switch it up for some bacon! Wish the rooms had brooms and dustpans especially travelling with kids. 😅

It was my 1st time to visit Prince George and to stay at this hotel "Hyatt Place Prince George".
I was a little late to arrive and to check in, because of my train was delayed about 2 hours.
But checking in was very smooth.
Especially, here's free breakfast was great, very yummy!!

Hyatt prince george was very clean, staff was friendly, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning with a great selection of food items.

Didn’t like around the hotel a lot of homeless. Housekeeper was very helpful and friendly.
Room not ready w extra pillows and blanket for pull out couch.

The room sizes are micro sized, pull out couch barely fits ones kid. We stayed for 4 nights and not once did they clean the room, much less change the towels, empty our garbage or give us toilet paper (only one full roll when we C/I). They happy to give us toilet paper when we called.
The surrounding area is full of homeless people and very sketchy at night. The hotel pool is also micro sized, thankfully right beside the Canfor pool.

Super comfortable King size bed. Huge TV Great work area and sitting area. Nice large bathroom. Everything looked brand new and spotless. Breakfast was good. Just enough variety. Only thing missing was coffee pot in room. Had machine but no pot. Lol. I wanted to boil hot water for tea.

Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable, modern room. Lots of hooks for hanging things. Pool is small but the kids had it to themselves both times we used it. Downtown Prince George is a little rough looking so not the nicest location.

The building is very new, modern and efficient with motion activated lighting to low flow water fixtures. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked the little sitting area in the room. Staff very helpful and friendly except in one instance where staff didn't speak English and I couldn't communicate my needs without contacting front desk - not terrible, as I understand people new to the country need time to learn English.
Hated the inconvenience of the door hiding the little fridge - made it a hassle to get things in and out of it.
Continental breakfast were good, but I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich in the dining area in the evening and was served luke warm soup (which I asked to be reheated), and was given a dry-bread grilled cheese sandwich where there was a slab of melted cheese on top, but the cheese in the middle was still COLD, and there was a bit of crust on the bottom. Definitely not a good sandwich, and certainly not what I was expecting. Chef needs to learn how to make a grilled cheese sandwich.
