Main thing was there was NO valet.

Excellent hotel. Neighborhood is fine. Visit Sutter Fort and Crocker museum. Cafe Bernard has great food. Room was very, very nice. Staff was charming. Some businesses did not make it through the pandemic. But there are plenty of places to visit. Close to the Capitol and Old Town.

Very nice location. Walking distances to everything in mid-Town.
Hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful, welcoming.
The room was up to the expected standard with all conveniences and practical.
Parking is in a public place next to the hotel and charges $18 max for 24h.
Staff told me to make sure not to get in and out in order to avoid being overcharged, and advised to park in the street if I intended to use my car during the day (much cheaper). It was nice to inform. Leave the car in the parking overnight if you don't need it. Thanks for the tip.

The room felt very clean and bed was super comfy! Had to ask for extra pillow’s but they brought them so quick! We ate at both restaurants and food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced/same as at home. 100% recommend!!

Great location, cute hotel and had a friendly staff!

I recently stayed at the Fort Sutter Hotel and overall, I was quite pleased with my experience. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and they made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
However, there was one aspect that could be improved: the shower tub hardware. It didn't quite meet my expectations and could use some improvement. Despite this minor inconvenience, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience I had at the hotel.
If the shower tub hardware were improved, it would certainly enhance the overall experience for guests. Nevertheless, I would still recommend the Fort Sutter Hotel to others due to the excellent service and accommodating staff.

Very nice hotel. New in appearance and feel.

Stay was ok. Water pressure is horrible. Need to work on that. At over $300 per night, with Covid behind us, I don't think guests should have to request service in the room.

I enjoyed the hotel cleanliness, and the staff were very professional and quite helpful, and always with a smile. It was a welcome experience. I like the fact that there was a eco watering stations on my floor. I don't know if they're on every floor, as the ice maker was not. Enjoyed my stay would stay again! Thanks!

I like this hotel (staff was friendly and helpful) but when I wanted to heat up some water for tea (and they have tea bags right there by the Keurig coffee maker) there was NO way to do that. How can a nice (and somewhat expensive) hotel not have a microwave in the rooms? Why provide tea bags if the customer can't use them? I had to go down (I was already in my pajamas, so I had to get dressed again) to the lobby and the front desk person went over to the restaurant to heat up water for me. How inconvenient for her and me. Plus, I had a food item I'd brought with me that needed to be heated before eating, and I couldn't do that either.

Loved it !!!

The hotel was comfortable but the neighborhood was strange. Large bus yard directly across the street.

It was really pleasant, but short. I regret getting into Sacramento so late because I didn’t get to enjoy all of the things this hotel had to offer. Loved the parking, the cafe, and the room

The hotel itself is nice, clean and in a good location. The parking, however, is a problem. Make note there is no parking at this hotel. A public garage next door (that fills up with hospital workers during the day) offers parking with no in and out privileges, otherwise I was told I could find metered street parking until 8am before I had to move the car. Not ideal, I would not have chosen this hotel had I known that.

The property overall is good I rented this suite which was like a small apartment the only minuses were the heaters sounded like a tank is driving by and shower was having an issue with the water pressure. The water pressure was very very low.

Parking instructions to make sure we went to the right garage would be nice or having the garage labeled. Great place and great bar/food downstairs.

Had problems with ABC tv channel being taken over by TLC thus not showing the 49er/Raven game on December 25th, plus internet coverage and the electronic keys on the 6th floor of the hotel. However, the hotel, room and Bernardo’s restaurant made up for it. Would stay again.

I asked for a higher floor room due to noise coming from outdoor patio. No roooms available. Also, view of cinder block wall not appealing. Suggest painting a mural.
Bed’s clean and comfy, however shower had hair in it for previous guest. Finally, we put do it disturb sign on door and the door was opened at 9am and again and 9:45sm for cleaning.

Hotel was great. There were a lot of food options within walking distance. Walk over to Fort Sutter for a little history. The tea shop close to the hotel was amazing. The hummus with the spicy ginger oil was amazing!

The Fort Sutter in Sacramento was fantastic. My family and I were in Sacramento for the California International Marathon. The customer service was the best. There is a lady by the name of Allison who works the front desk. She was so helpful. I was going to be a super late check in because I had to drive in from Orange County, CA. She ensured I would not lose my reservation. She took the initiative and checked me in before I got to the hotel. She then reached out to me and ensured my family and I would have a smooth check in. Allison is a true professional and I thank her so much for her help. She needs to know this and hear about my gratitude. The rest of the staff were so helpful and fantastic.
