We enjoyed our stay at Now & Zen. The house was just like the description & very clean. Communication was great, just a text away answering questions & sending recommendations. We rented a golf cart & kept it in the garage & also enjoyed the provided bikes. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot for a family of 4 especially with older kids who had the lower level to themselves. House was very clean and management company did a great job of communicating and having everything you would need for a home away from home. Really appreciated the bikes for quick trips to/from the beach and avoiding parking in town. Thanks for a great beach vacation!

My family and I had the most wonderful time at the Now and Zen Beach House! The home was well-appointed and the hosts were quite attentive! We rented a golf cart for a few days and were able to keep/charge in the garage. Pet friendly too! Grab a glass of wine or a beer and sit out on the balcony to catch the ocean breeze. Just lovely! The duplex was clean and new and very thoughtfully furnished. The bikes were a great way to get to the beach and everything was very convenient. Highly recommend to anyone with a group that wants to go to the beach and enjoy the restaurants and attractions.

Clean, cute and roomy. Dogs loved it. The requests about no sand in the house, dog hair, the cook top, etc. were a bit inconvenient. If you rent your house at the beach there is going to be sand. If you allow dogs, there is going to be dog hair. The neighbors dogs barked the entire time we were there which was annoying whenever we sat in front porch. Overall it was a great place!

We had a wonderful stay even though we watched hurricane Ian storm through. The home was furnished lovely everywhere. The games in the bookshelf and in the ottoman were wonderfully fun. We brought some of our own but it was nice to see other ones also. We especially enjoyed the puzzle. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen was wonderfully furnished with everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This home is tastefully decorated and in like-new condition. Check in/ check out was easy and the property manager was very responsive when we had an AC issue (which turned out to be our fault). Highly recommend if you don’t need a beach view. It is 6 blocks from the beach, and only 2 blocks from a nice paved greenway that is shaded in the morning and great for walking.

Everything in the house was very nice. It was stocked with everything we needed including 2 bikes and several beach chairs. We rented a golf cart which was helpful because it was too long of a walk to the beach if you were carrying beach chairs. We rented games, a tent and other beach supplies from GotShade and SunFun Rentals. I would stay again!

Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The house is pet friendly and there is a small yard for us to take our dog out with dog baggies provided. Location is great and within walking and driving distance to anything you might want to do. The space was perfect for 6 people. The outdoor shower is a great idea for when you come back from the beach. Only one small suggestion would be to have pavers from the shower to the house door.

The house was by far super clean and welcoming! The property management was great and only a text message away, which is ideal when you are not familiar in the location. Now and Zen was a perfect beach getaway for our family of 4. The house was in a great location, only a short walk to the beach. It was also so thoughtfully equipped. The 'extras' were such a great touch, from the extra toiletries in the bathroom to the ketchup and mayo packets in the fridge. The bikes were a hit with my teenagers and so unusual to have a rental house supply them. We had a fantastic trip, will definitely keep this home on our list to visit again!

I traveled with 5 other friends and we stayed at the Now and Zen Beach House. This place was awesome! It accommodates 6 adults more than comfortably. In the evenings we sat around the table for dinner together and played card games. Now and Zen is nicely decorated, you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into what would make people relax after a hard week of work. Lots of personal little touches. We had all that we needed to relax and not worry about a thing! The kitchen was well stocked in regards to pots/pans utensils etc. Even a wine opener (we all forget those and always have to run out to get yet another one:

Nothing better than spending a wonderful day a the beach and coming back to a new modern townhouse in a quiet area. I'm a bit of a clean freak and this place meet my expectations in every way. Even though it a few blocks off the beach the walk is easy and short. I will without a doubt be staying here again!

Now & Zen is a beautiful, relaxing beach house conveniently located in Carolina Beach. The house is situated between the beach and trails with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The home has a nicely equipped kitchen should you choose to dine in and has a deck off the kitchen to relax on while you enjoy your dinner. Staying at Now and Zen was a treat! As soon as you settle into this spacious 3BR 2 1/2 Bath rental,the tranquil colors and calming vibe melts the stresses of the day off right away. There is a full kitchen with more than everything you would need, a big screen tv in the living room with plenty of seating for a movie night and a super comfortable Cali King bed and tv in the Master bedroom. After a good nights rest, you can take a very short walk to the beach to enjoy the sunrises, which are magical, then walk north to the Carolina Beach boardwalk for breakfast and shopping. You may also choose to walk south to the Kure Beach shops and eateries. The best of both worlds!

Having spent several days at Now & Zen, we don't have to question why the house was so named.
From a flawless registration and check-in process, thoughtful touches throughout the house welcome you. A bright hallway (equipped with current necessities like hand wipes) is indicative of what else you will experience here. On this floor there are two very respectably sized bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room. The garage contained two bicycles, 6 beach chairs and a small trolley to haul everything you need to the beach, which was about a three-minute walk away.
In the hallway there are integral night lights that were a subtle but wonderful addition in an evening .
The stairway to your left delivers you to both the Now and Zen part of the house. Extremely tastefully decorated, (my wife fell in love with the granite on the island and the kitchen layout in general) this floor contains furniture and fixtures to make you feel immediately relaxed and at home. Modern appliances and touches tell you that this was extremely thoughtfully equipped and decorated. We literally lacked for nothing in the kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathroom areas.
The master bedroom on this floor has two very amply sized closets, king sized bed and a wonderful master bathroom.
All in all, Now & Zen is sandwiched between perfect weather, beaches, boardwalk, bicycles, breweries, State Park hiking trails, the absolutely perfect place to stay at! The property and all of the conveniences provided were above and beyond expectations. The check-in process was flawless, and communication was extremely prompt and insightful.
As a foursome, with our friends, we have traveled many countries around the world as well as staying in many places throughout the United States. As a group, we give Now and Zen 11 stars.

It was such a nice stay! Walks on the beach every morning were so relaxing. Watching sunrise and seeing surfers was an awesome start to the day. There's a cute breakfast spot close enough to walk or ride a bike to. (Surfing granny on the building was funny) The house had every thing you needed and the bed was comfy. Carolina Beach was a laid back beach town and Wilmington isn't far for additional activities/shopping or whatever you are looking for. Looking forward to going back again! Maybe horseback riding next time?
