We had a nice room with a wonderful view of the ocean. The staff was very helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The indoor heated pool was perfect after a day at the beach. Our accommodations were perfect for our girls trip!

The room smelled like someone just fried chicken in it. I know it is a studio and that’s fine but the smell was over powering as soon as we walked in the room and it didn’t get any better the entire weekend. The hallways to the room were extremely warm and also smelly. There is no direct access to the hotel from the pool area without having to walk all the way around to the elevator which is located outside the hotel in the parking lot. The restaurant is very old as is the hotel and it really shows as soon as you walk into it. There is no boardwalk to the beach and you have to walk in the loose sand through the dunes to get to the beach area. The rates that this hotel was charging is very close to the nice hotels on the beach so you think it would be somewhat comparable but to be honest they shouldn’t be charging as much as motel 6 because that’s what the rooms and the hotel is comparable to. There is an indoor pool and hot tub but it’s out in front in the parking lot in a separate building and it reeks of chlorine so bad your eyeballs are on fire when you walk in. The staff were super nice and helpful though and the bed was comfortable. The rates were definitely too high and I booked for two nights and the next night the rate dropped by almost $100! So disappointing to say the least. My overall stays at Best Western Hotels have always been very nice but this one really needs to be looked at because of the location and rates this hotel could be so much more!

When we first walked in there wasa cockroach crawling across kitchen counter. We went to front desk and asked for iron and iron board they said it should be in our room. We couldn’t find it so we called. They said they would call us back on where to pick it up. Never heard back.

This place was not worth it, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was not clean enough and the bathroom has mold or mildew. You can tell they tried to cover it with paint. The rooms smell muggy, the place is very run down. I’m not sure how they made the pictures look nice but for the price I paid for I would have just spent a couple more hundred bucks and stayed elsewhere. The property refs more attention on the outside, the pool and the jacuzzi area. All of the outside showers were not working and the whole property smelled like smoke. It was disgusting and such a horrible experience. My husband was ready to leave the day we got there, I should have listened to him.

We had a very nice room overlooking the Gulf with a balcony! The staff at check in was great. Very clean with fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

Our room was clean except that the floor hadn't been vacuumed after the last guest nor the kitchenette area mopped. I would expect the kitchenette to have what's needed to fix a simple meal, but there was only one knife and 1 spoon along with 4 plates, which 2 were dirty and cereal bowls. No dish soap, dish cloths, dish towels or potholders.

My family was too scared to stay at this property. There was a small sphere device found in the nightstand drawer with a blinking red light. The oven door fell off. The room was located to an unlocked exterior door where anyone could come in. We walked by an opened dark room on the way to ours. Overall we left and couldn’t stay the night. We dropped our stuff off earlier that day but then left. When we went back that evening is when we noticed all the things wrong with the place. We went to a nicer, safer hotel.

It was a decent place to stay. We rented the room with the kitchen in it. Very limited items to cook with only had 1 cup a couple of spoons and a few pots and pans. So was not happy about that. If your going to offer a kitchen then make sure the availability of items is appropriate for the four people staying. But it was gulf view and all we had to do was walk out onto the beach. So it was great for the grandchildren. Over all for one night it was not bad.

Room was clean and the view was awesome. Had trouble with checking in, made me wait until after 4pm due to carpet cleaning. Meanwhile other guests where being checked in. Not sure why they didn't reassign me to a room that was ready. This is not the busy season and they weren't full. Mgr avoided eye contact with me during this issue. Front desk clerk was very polite.

We were supposed to stay here for a couple days for our anniversary but we were so uncomfortable we left after 1. During checkin-in, the woman called us “traders” for using a 3rd party booking. Even though we paid for an “ocean view” room we were out in the only room on the first floor which was a view of the pool and sand dunes so high there was no “ocean view”. They stated it was the “time out room” and that it was the only room with “rustic” furniture. You can dress up the name to make us feel better but It was just old chipped broken furniture. The walls were chipping, the ceiling looked awful and it was dark and dungeon-y. We asked to move since we paid for an ocean view and they said it would be an additional $40 and we would have a view of the parking lot. Needless to say our anniversary was pretty much ruined and we left. I’m sure the other rooms are nice but we never got to find out

We enjoyed our stay! This is an older hotel, but it was clean and everything worked. We were not in the room except to bath and sleep so it was perfect. Right on the beach. Restaurant on site had great breakfast! Not fast, but we were in no hurry and it was delicious. Some covered parking. Great places to eat within walking distance. We will go back again.

Overall a good hotel and location. Room was clean and staff was helpful. The only real complaint was that the lobby and inside areas had a horrible smell. Not sure what it was or how to explain it. At least the smell was not in our room or sleeping there would have been impossible.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The ladies at the front desk were amazing. They were very helpful and kind. The only inconvenience for me was the funky stench from the lobby all through the hallways on the first floor. Smelled like sulfur. The room was very clean, but wasn’t the room view that I booked. I was given a first floor beachfront room. The one I booked on Expedia was a higher floor room. Overall I was very satisfied. 8.5/10!!

The beach was close. The room was clean. Too much noise outside to enjoy the balcony. Chairs on the balcony were very uncomfortable. Over all the price of the room with added taxes every day was unreasonable.

We have stayed in this hotel several times, and it seems like it’s going more and more downhill. There was stand in the floor when we arrived in our room. While the beds were made there was stains on the blanket that had been seemingly purposefully put facing down so we couldn’t see them. The cabinet beneath the sink in the bathroom was falling apart, and the shower bar was about to fall down which I didn’t even care to tell them about. I just fixed the shower bar myself because the last time we stayed here there was no toilet seat on our toilet, and it took them 32 hours after I told them to bring us a toilet seat. The hot tub and pool area that is covered has something wrong with the chemicals in the last two times we were there. It smelled very much of chlorine and made my wife and daughters hair stink after being in the pool for a short while. The housekeeping ignored our room and moved down the hall. Even after we told them, we needed them to make up the room and replace our towels that we had used. We told him this at 9 AM and at 4 PM. There were only three rooms past ours and I had to go downstairs to the front desk and ask for more towels. I told the front desk that the cleaning ladies had been on the hall the entire day and had skipped our room and they seem to care one bit. Matter-of-fact now that I think about it. The only good thing about this hotel would be the 10 or so parking spaces that are under the building that are nice and big and covered.

Loved the ocean front view in the balcony. Loved the indoor and outdoor pools. it was very hot, so after an enjoyable day at the beach, it was awesome to shower off and take a cooling dip in the indoor pool. Beach has easy access , right out the front and i absolutely loved the parking spots that were covered! Kept our car nice and cool on the hot summer days. Room was clean, a/c was cold and the staff was extremely friendly! I'm definitely coming here again!

Loved being right on the beach with a great ocean view. Was able to see dolphins from our balcony swimming up and down the coast. Good staff and clean rooms. Will definitely be staying here again.
