We stayed 4 nights. Our room was never cleaned and we had to get our towels ourselves. The BREAKFAST WAS GOOD! That was a plus.

Comfortable and clean rooms. The hotel needs updating. Older carpeting and fixtures. Pool area was not clean. It was too warm in the hallways and public areas. Check in was terrible. Waited until 3pm on the dot to let people line up to check in. Horrible process and not customer friendly. Side door key card reader didn’t work but it didn’t matter because one of the workers said, “just pull it real hard and it will come open”. And it did. Did not us feel very safe.

My room was very nice VERY clean! The only disappointment was the room had a microwave but not a fridge.
Breakfast every morning was Great!

Great staff, clean, and comfortable. However, it could use a facelift.

Breakfast not the best. Coffee terrible. Orange juice terrible ( coloured water). Eggs ice cold. And we were at breakfast at 7am. The only thing good was the bacon and biscuits.

La Quinta is an "upscale budget" chain. This one was pretty new, very clean. No bugs or nastiness like you get in other budget hotels. Breakfast, like all La Quinta's, is awful powdered food. The maid kept trying to get into my room to clean it even though I didn't want that, and when I mentioned this, it was clear she did not speak any English. She also spent time in the hall loudly talking in Spanish on her phone's speaker to a guy. (also clearly heard).
If you want a clean, cheap hotel, this is good but you get what you pay for.

This place is ghetto. The reivews and star rating for this type of a property is misleading...either that or the bar is so low for hotel chains. The front desk was a mess. Elevators broken. Fitness room out of order. Super uncomfortable beds. Large bugs on the walls in the hallways. Key cards would randomly stop working. The coffee for the morning breakfast was watered down and disgusting....plus they don't have half and half or any sort of cream for coffee. You had to use the milk they had out for the cereal. What hotel doesn't carry half and half or anything for the coffee?

The young man at the desk was super nice, after checking in I don't think the room had been vacuumed cause we found a fake nail by the side of the bed, the room needs updated as far as electrical outlets for phones, bathroom super clean and plenty of hot water and towels, the breakfast was lacking, no yogurt until it was asked for them the attendant brought it out, as a veteran I appreciate the fact they had veteran parking all establishments should!

Not worth the price. Frequent problems with key card, room stunk of bacon starting at 7am, no maid service, bed squeaked, hair dryer didn’t work, many items ran out at breakfast and limited choices.

Check in and out was easy. Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly. Convenient location

I was allowed to pay and come back to check in later which was great. Did have an issue with the bathroom sink backing up after my son took a shower and that came to repair it in a timely matter. The breakfast was cold and they ran out of some items.

Friendly, helpful staff at check-in. Room was clean and spacious. The area around the hotel was dirty. This hotel allows dogs, but there was dog poop literally in every inch of grass around the hotel - and there weren't many inches of grass in the first place. We had registered 4 people in the room, but they gave us 2 towels, and only enough soap and shampoo for 2 people. The one elevator wasn't enough for the size of the hotel so we had to take the stairs most of the time. No luggage racks. Breakfast was good and plenty though.

Location was ideal and basic, good hotel. The check in process took roughly 20 minutes and then we were sent to a room that wasn’t ready. Our second room lacked some basic cleaning.

The breakfast was terrible The biscuit gravy was cold and the juice machine was not working. I requested a blanket for my room and I didn't until the next day..

Great place to stay for Mardi Gras. 1 minute walk to Parade Route. Room was large. Beds were hard. Toilet kept backing up and wouldnt flush. Moderately clean. Staff was excellent!

I was very disappointed in the room interior as this was a suite. The bedroom curtain was ripped letting in quite a lot of light. There were very few outlets that were usable. The foyer light worked all living room lights, you could not turn on one without the other. Desk outlet missing a receptacle plate, seems sort of dangerous. The shower curtain could have been of better quality. No housekeeping unless you stayed more than three nights, you could request service the third day if needed. Thankful housekeeping personnel were more than accommodating. Overall, my stay was adequate for first visit to Greenville, next time will pay more than $100 for different hotel. I was very surprised the rate went from $93 to $96 then $143 for a Wednesday.

Check-in was easy. Pet-friendly. Structure is very old, worn down. The carpet was not very clean. The room smelled unclean, like a wet mop.

The staff was nice upon arrival, and the pet fee is reasonable. These are the only positives. My room smelled awful, and the bathroom could use a deep cleaning. The breakfast was inedible (there were hard boiled eggs on a streno food warmer which I'm pretty sure isn't safe, but most definitely not the way you prepare hard boiled eggs out of a bag!). Other food options weren't great. There were individuals almost certainly on drugs hanging around the side entrance making myself and my wife feel unsafe. Again, nothing personal to the proprietors here as their staff was nice, but we won't stay here again.

My first stay in Greenville and a La Quinta. Both were pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. The location was central to where i was going. There was one incident on the 2nd night of my stay involving another guest, but it was handled.

We checked in late (after midnight cause flight schedule) so we went straight to bed. My husband woke up in morning said he felt something wired on bed but he didn't check cause we were so tired. I immediately removed the blanket and saw a huge yellow spot (size as a football) on the mattress. It's so disgusting so he quickly took a shower and got changed. We went down to front desk and requested early check out (it's was planned for 4 nights originally). Although hotel front deck offered room changed we just couldn't stand the low service quality standard of the hotel room and turned down the offer.
Also when we checked in the front desk asked for ID and made a copy of it and kept it. Under what law hotels keep copy of your ID?? We checked in to a nearby courtyard they gave us a room right away at 8:30am and didn't make copy of my ID!!! I will never go back to any La Quinta for the rest of my life!!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel staff were very friendly. Service was great and the free breakfast was a bonus. This was a very convenient place to stay. Easy drive to downtown and surrounding shops and attractions.

We have stayed stayed there many times and have found it very convenient and comfortable. We like that there is a table located in the room which worked well for us. The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast. There was not enough of a variety for us.

The first room had bugs. We were moved to another room that had a horrible odor.

The carpet in the room was stained. We found a pair of socks from the previous visitors.
Breakfast was ok but a good suggestion is to use the right equipment to keep the food warm

When we 1st arrived, there was no TV in the room. They were nice to move us to another room(quick & no hassles). The bathroom doors would not shut all the way due to the hardware being worn out or broke. We found toilet paper unflushed in the commode, which made us wonder how clean the room really was. The last issue we had was the biscuits & gravy were ice cold during breakfast. The rest of the stay was uneventful and we even met some unique characters next door!!

Good hotel, however not very accommodating. Checked in after well after midnight and asked for a noon check out. It was not an option and not negotiable. Stayed on the first floor and it was very noisy.

Room was basic, temperature control on heating unit didn’t work. It was either off or run you out of the room hot. Even though we had both the wall thermostat (?) and the control on the actual unit set to 68.
TV reception was terrible. Since we were there only one night we didn’t mention it to the front desk.
I went out the back door to load the car early and my room key wouldn’t open the door, even though it worked on the room door 15 minutes earlier.
It was a place to sleep and actually met expectations.

You can literally hear through the walls. The person talking communicating even using the bowel movements. The Shard was not clean properly. Curtains were rippe. Good thing I finished my business in 1 day. Instead of 3 days like I originally planned. Would not recommend.
The only positive note was the staff was very friendly and helpful.
And understand me when I left.
Prior to the. Contract the time.

NOT TRULY PET FRIENDLY.
We chose LaQuinta primarily due to their reasonable pet fee. Check in was quickly and easy, the room was clean and the breakfast options were decent.
Our issues took place during check out. The night and morning of our stay was pouring rain. Because of the rain, I stayed in the lobby by the exit waiting for my husband to bring the car around so we could load are belongings under the awning. I was told by one of the employees that I couldn’t stand there with my dog. I explained that I was waiting for my husband so we could get in without getting drenched. The employee then pointed to a sign on the lobby saying that pets were not allowed in the lobby. I said I was leaving shortly but she kept insisting that I use a different exit so that I wasn’t in the lobby. I asked if those exits were covered but she did not seem understand my question. Fortunately, my husband arrived shortly after so we loaded everything, including our small dog, without getting soaked. We drove around the hotel and none of the alternate exits were covered.
Not allowing pets in the lobby of a pet friendly hotel is ridiculous. Regardless, you’d think they wouldn’t make a huge deal when it was raining so hard.
So this is definitely not very pet “friendly “

There was a vehicle with busted out windows in the parking lot which made us question the safety of our vehicle. We will not be staying here again.
