Ice machine didn't work, restaurant and bar closed on mother's day. One of the busiest days for restaurants. Was told by the checkin that no one wanted to work. When i reported the faulty ice machine at check out, was told to get ice from a different floor.

Not wild about the room decor. Rooms were clean and the pool was very nice. Incredible value for the money

We checked in which was good. Were placed in a cigarette contaminated room. The bed was hard and the sheets had burn holes in them. Within minutes our throat was raw from being in the room. We checked out within 30 minutes of checking in. They canceled our additional two days stay and refused to refund our first night stay. They later called and indicated that they agreed to refund 50% of our first nights fee.

Check in was easy and the receptionist was friendly. The breakfast had a good variety and the staff kept it well stocked. Pillows and beds were decently comfortable. The hotel seemed outdated and dirty upon arrival though. In our room there was dirt in the corners and along the trims, saw an ant crawling on the ground, the bottom of the bathroom door looked chewed on, the pool water was colder than other indoor pools, and the heating/cooling system in our room didn't really work as we tried using the heat and it just blew out cold air. I also wish you could turn off the light on the outside of the room as it shines into the room even with the both curtains closed.

Outside of many nit-picky items (bathtub is dirty, wallpaper is peeling, no hair dryer, etc.) the biggest peeve I have is how unfriendly the building itself is to the handicapped.
First the elevator only goes to a single hall on the second floor, all other second floor rooms are only accessible by a single staircase by the pool (which itself forces you to go through a maze to get to the rooms).
I am sure there may be work arounds for that, but they absolutely do not want anyone that cannot go downstairs to eat breakfast (free) because there are no ramps to the restaurant.

The hotel has a wonderful location, cheap rates, and superb staff (with, sadly, notable exceptions). The gentleman running the bar was exceptionally nice and made sure we could get dinner after 9 p.m.
The hotel's key market is families with rambunctious children. As the pool is in the center of the building, they cannot be avoided from 10 A.m. to 10 P.m. Rooms have no external windows, so they are quite stuffy. So- a great place for kids who want to use the pool, clean rooms, and nice breakfast offered (quite crowded and noisy). Not a great place if you want reliable service (1 person only at the front desk throughout our stay- one great, one not so much), calm, or a tolerably quiet bar/restaurant (it is right by the pool). Kind of bad for us, but I can understand that for those with multiple children who are safe in the water, it could be great.

Ist time experiencing a problem. Rooms & hotel in general were great, as always! For some reason a certain area lost power to parts of the rooms, both of our rooms being included. We weren't offered a different room when they couldn't get it back on that night offer nor any type of rebate/reduction of cost even on a future stay. We didn't ask, but really shouldn't have had to. Our phones didn't charge which made us just slightly late for an appointment but the main problem was our daughter with autism did not sleep as her device couldn't stay charged on her night stand. We'd received great medical results while there & to be honest, I didn't even think of asking about a refund for one of the rooms or something of the sort. I heard other guests complaining but wasn't worth ruining the results of our good news. That being said, we'll continue our 2 to 4 night monthly stays as the staff is WONDERFUL along with the rooms. Nothing is perfect every time.

Super hot, Ac units didn’t work, beds not comfortable, hallways very dirty. Breakfast wasn’t bad, baggage carts were hard to find, people kept them in their rooms.

For what we look for in a room, everything was fine...clean bed, clean bathroom, and everything was in working order!

It was okay, all of the outlets in the room were soooo loose I couldn’t even do my hair!!! My curling iron kept falling right out of the plug and considering we were staying there for a couples night out in Ann Arbor I was hoping to get dolled up. Was definitely a bummer

Another AMAZING stay at Wyndham! The suite we reserved was out of service so we received an upgrade. It was FABULOUS! Seriously more roomy than some condos I've rented. Regular price for that room should maybe include a stove stop, utensils & real cups, plates, etc. but all in all we were more than happy with the roominess & comfort & staff was GREAT as always! This was a very nice surprise for a dreaded business trip! Will definitely be booking this room in the future for family get together w/ family near by!

When checking in we asked the host what kind of food is served with the breakfast they provide - the employee responded, “How should I know!?!” Air conditioner did not work - only put out heat so the room was warm.

I stayed in a 4th floor tower room which has been nicely renovated. New pull out couch, however it was not comfortable to sit on. Very stiff. Nice vinyl floors. Better then carpet that turns your socks black. Color scheme very pleasant. The only other disappointment was the hardness of the mattress. I woke up in pain all over due to the bed being way too hard. I have stayed in a king room before on the ground floor that had a pillow top mattress which made for the best night of sleep i had in a long time. Hot tub was working this time which was nice and the complimentary breakfast with eggs, tator tots, sausage links,waffles, fruit, bagels, bread, cereals, juices was very nice as well. Overall a nice stay.

I love the room rate I received. The biggest issue was the hot tub was dirty and the water was cold. When you take a shower in your room the water about scalds you. Tub is slippery no grab bars inside. Was told to go to elevator that was a long walk away from my room. The breakfast was good.

Room did not fit website description well. Sheets looked wrinkly and possibly used. Children were screaming in the pool right outside and playing loudly bouncing a ball, all the noise coming straight into the room. We just left. Didn’t spend the night.

The pool is out in the middle of the hotel instead of a separate part of it, so until 10 pm all yohh is could hear was kids screaming in the pool. The walls are super thin so our neighbors kept us up until after 2.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was wonderful. I slept very well. The area for the toilet was cramped. If you need more room, you may want to address that. Also, budget for a $50 extra charge on your card that will be refunded if you don't have extra charges from your stay, which I find a little annoying. Also, the air conditioner/heating was loud. Once, when it kicked on, it woke me and scared me.
These issues are not enough to prevent me from staying here again.

The staff was wonder and the location perfect. The hotel room was dated but clean. The pool was filthy and the “workout” room sad.
It was okay for a business trip stay, but next time I will opt for another hotel.

This place is not well kept at all. The double bed rooms are closed off by the entrance door and a window that’s covered by a curtain. The place is dirty and not well kept at all. Their staff stay on sight and the place is still a mess. Spills all through the lobby and the management is not very accommodating

We have stayed here before without incident, but this time our room was facing I-94 (so loud), the bathroom fan was extremely loud, and only a few breakfast items were available.

Right next to the highway, so noisy. A maid also randomly just opened our door while we were sleeping? Very nice facility with many amenities overall and clean, just some weird happenings.

Building was decently nice just outdated beds were not very comfortable there were people yelling in halls all night, and our hall smelled like cigarettes heavily

The Wyndham is a tired hotel with a paint job. The interior courtyard is right out of the disco era - neon and mirrors. Youth hockey teams were holding warm up sessions in the common areas. The gal at the front desk wouldn't let us check in 45 minutes early. At least the bed was nice.

Loved the font desk lady (evening) common area, hated the washroom in the common area. Small, dirty, and smelled like vomit.
