Nice, clean, and comfy hotel. Close to everything but not right where all the noise is.
4.0
Nice comfy, centrally located hotel in French Quarter. Good bang for buck, close to a lot of historic and tourist hot spots.

Reasonably priced, great location, close to attractions in French Quarter without being in the middle of the craziness, St. Charles Trolley stops in front of the hotel; clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Very nice room, with free breakfast. The only problem I had was that they kept my deposit and we definitely did not smoke in the room.

We had a wonderful time in NOLA and staying at Indigo was a big part of that. We had the best breakfasts we’ve ever had at a hotel restaurant!

I enjoyed my stay here at Hotel Indigo. It was a very fair price for our stay, and we stayed the day after Mardi Gras. The in-hotel restaurant’s breakfast was so good! It is also a 5 minute walk to the French Quarter, so the location is great. The only downside to our stay was that our hotel room did not have a window.

Perfect location for Mardi Gras. Walkable to Canal, Bourbon and basically everywhere in the French Quarter. Ice machine on my floor wasnt working but that didn't stop the show. Just a slight inconvenience. Restaurant inside hotel is absolutely delicious. Definitely booking again.

This was the best choice for Mardi Gras because it was on the opposite side of Canal Street. You get the parade However, if you were taking a taxi during a parade, it wasn’t horrible cause you could actually get through because it’s not on the main parade route road. we loved every single bit of our stay because it was super clean. The staff was extremely friendly and it just was an overall great pick

Close to parades and bourbon. Room was tiny like size of cruise ship - could barely fit in the bathroom and I am not a large person. Loud 24/7

When my best friend and i booked our trip for Mardi Gras, we really didn't have a plan in mind. Imagine our surprise, and pure excitement, when we discovered our hotel was on the parade route!! It was a magical time, and the staff was great at giving us suggestions for our stay. We had an AC issue with our original room and had to be moved, but they did so with ease and it was massively appreciated. Our only complaint for our stay was that the elevators were mildly scary, but everything else was wonderful!

Location was great! Within walking distance of the French Quarter, loads of restaurants & sites. Amenities were good for what we needed; rooms were much smaller than we anticipated. We brought our dogs, as they advertise being dog friendly, but be aware! The closest park is around .5 miles away from the hotel & they charge you $75 PER DOG per night. Their valet parking is NOT worth it during peak times. We were visiting for our wedding on 12/31 and 3 out of the 5 nights they had wait times of over 4 hours for car retrieval, and on all three nights after confirming our vehicle & waiting over an hour, they eventually just told us they were unable to retrieve any cars, making us late to concerts, reservations and yes, our wedding. At the end of our stay, they expected us to still pay for that service, even though we racked up additional cost in uber due to the inability to get our car out of valet. Luckily, the GM was kind enough to remove fees from our stay at the end, but it was work to get to that point and a massive inconvenience on our wedding weekend.

This property was definitely a great book! The room was small but my experience has been that most hotels in Nola are that way. That makes it unique in a sense. The room was clean, smelled lovely and had a wonderful bathroom (also small). I went to the bar twice. The first night the drinks were great. The second night they could have been better. Still enjoyed myself. Staff were kind and helpful. When a room restock was needed, we got it! In my opinion, this property is top tier for a solo trip. Would book again for a different experience.

While the hotel lobby and restaurant were nice, and the service was good, my room was in poor condition. The room never heated above 69F, despite having service come to fix it—annd there were no spare blankets so I had to use towels. The fan in the bathroom was also broken according to the technician, so it was extremely loud. The volume of water allowed to come out of the shower head was the least I’ve experienced in years. And the room was so small that all the furniture was crowded and touching each other to make it all fit. The hotel wanted to give me a discount but said I’d need to ask Hotels.com to provide it since I booked it here—adding to my hassle. At least they comped my breakfast.

The checkin experience is smooth. We are able to check in early. Staff are friendly. Cleanliness is exceptional. The surrounding area is safe. They also offer taxi service to the airport with a reasonable price.

I loved the cleanliness and the bed was very comfortable. I loved how attentive the front desk was to my needs and accommodating. I only encountered two problems and that was getting my car at checkout with the valet. I waited 45 min for my car and was in fear of missing my flight. I requested my car from my room and reiterated to the front desk how urgent it was that I get my car. I waited 30 min in the lobby and readdressed the front desk to see what was going on. By that time my car should have been ready 15 min ago. They reached out to the valet again and he showed up and apologized and I got my car in another 15 min. I had to rush to the airport. Secondly, I had to complain twice about a drunk neighbor yelling and slamming things the first 2 nights I was there. I finally called and told them I couldn't take it anymore and if they didn't handle the problem I'd call the police. Finally after the 3rd night I was awakened to a drunken woman screaming and banging on doors. However, they accommodated me for my wife's room decorating and that was awesome. They let the decorator in and were very attentive to her and even called me to ask her info so other guests can book her. Overall, outside of those two hiccups, my stay was fantastic. Great food in walking distance. Close enough to Bourbon Street without being on Bourbon Street. Quiet surroundings. Peaceful. I love New Orleans.

The whole place was super clean, everyone was friendly, and the hotel itself just smelled nice! It felt very comfortable to stay in! Not to mention how cute the decor was!

everything was up to par, the only thing to be aware of is that the walls are pretty thin

Pretty good location. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was clean. The only things that I didn’t like was having an interior room with no window. The room just seemed very small and dark. I didn’t know that that was even an option. Also the room didn’t have a refrigerator and that was disappointing. I would stay there again but would make sure that I had a window room and a refrigerator.
