Hotel did not look like the pictures showbusiness. The reception were very outdated - looked cheap and not very welcoming.
We had free breakfast inkluded, and when we arrived at the buffet at 9 o’clock everything was gone, and 1 server were working. He wasn’t very polite, and ignored every question we had. For instance, we asked for more cups for the coffee, since everything was used, and he just made us feel not very welcomed.
We are breakfast elsewhere the rest of the tour.
The room was very very very old. I had to check under the bed before even wanting to go into it. Almost no bedding and the hardest madress i have ever slept in. The Walls were dirty and had old holes in them, and throughout the week we could hear people in the rooms next to us, since the Doors didn’t close propperly.
TV didn’t work, and there were no adds in the room like coffee machine as seen on the pictures.
Overall a very very dissappointing experience for such an expensive hotel.

Great place - highly recommend to others

The room was clean and the style was traditionally Italian in decor. Overall a nice place to stay in central Venice. Close to shopping, restaurants, boat rides all within walking distance. The only problem is that the hotel is on a tiny side street and very very difficult to find even with the incomplete directions provided by the hotel. I walked around for 2 hours and asked several people before I was finally able to find it.

The room was lovely and super cute and the location was perfect. Right by the water ferry and the bridge. Only complaint was the four flights of stairs to our room. Lol way worse with luggage too. It was just the two of us and we were there for two nights.

Great for the price and taking in account is Venice. Good place to stay

We had a short stay in Hotel Graspo de Ua, but we had a great experience, they delivered good service and the room was clean.

Its ok. Very friendly staff, but it is an old building and it is not good isolated. You hear everything specially the cleaning staff in the morning they are extremely loud. But location is great and the room offers what you need.

Property near the Ferrovial system. Great location. Decent value but they can try harder to help the customers enjoy Venice better by cleaning the bathroom and room. It looked dirty and the bathroom smelled.

Terrible experience. Pictures were deceiving. When I booked the hotel room , it shows totally different pics than the actual room. Bathroom was leaking and smelled liked sewers. I hope I get my refund. Had to walk thru hotel trash to get to my room. Owners was not at all helpful in finding better room or changing our room.

Horrible property, will never recommend anyone to stay here. Pictures on website are deceiving, had to walk through hotel trash to go to our rooms. Bathroom was leaking and had sewer smell. Dirty linens. Owner did not do anything to make it better. Kept saying we are fully booked.

Hotel staff was very nice but hotel is in very poor condition. Rooms are small and hotel is very run down. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Room was old, small, and expensive. I'm not at all overweight but could barely fit in the shower. I do not recommend staying here.

This hotel is crumbling.
It’s a 0.5/5 stars maximum, should not have the rating it has.
1) Mold on the walls and shower. Not good if you have allergies.
2) No hot water in shower despite multiple complaints.
3) Shower was clogged and even when it was fixed it was still slow draining.
4) The hotel staff is very rude and unresponsive to our request to fix the issues.
Would never stay again nor advise anyone to do so.

Pros: Great Location (near Rialto Bridge)
Cons: 1) Not stable supply of hot water and fluctuations of water temperature in shower; 2) Bath drain clogged; 3) Broken bulb above the unit entrance (reported 3 times - never fixed); No room service provided and no garbage removed from the room for a few days; 4) Super-UNCOMFORTABLE sofa bed. We don't recommend this hotel.

Perfect position from Rialto bridge and San Marco square
We stayed in the apartment.. very costly .. no plates cutlery cups glasses bottle opener but the worst was no hot water after we’d been travelling in the heat all day .. staff were very friendly and did their best to help us settle in .. carried bags etc finally fixed hot water but it still ran hot and cold EVERY shower .. our second bed wasn’t made up when we arrived. I had to offer to do that to have it for first night but PERFECT position

Hotel was clean but very very outdated, the walls looked very old, furniture, elevator, showers, everything.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location, it’s very good.
Also it’s a hassle to get to your room, they give you 3 keys in total, and they are actual keys not cards, and you have to open one gate, then walk a few feet, open the door, and then get the elevator or stairs to your room and finally open your room…. They use some old style keys, so sometimes is very hard to open the door, I was like 15 minutes stuck trying to open it.

The room was tiny. Apparently it was a converted room as the 7 on the door was converted to a 9 by means of a marker 😂. No elevator/ so make sure to stay on first floor / but it was close to some great sights

Great last minute hotel in good location! Only issue is theres no lifts/elevators! Had to walk 3 flights of a narrow staircase.

The location of the hotel was good but the property is not in great condition, could use updating. The room itself was fine, air conditioning worked well.

Location, location!
Cant beat that!
Beds were comfortable, the room was clean, bathroom had the amenities, ac was not cooling much but the weather was nice so it wasn’t uncomfortable. Its in a quiet area so you dont get the tourist’s noise. Hotel is old, some refreshing would be great. Overall its a no brainer.

Graspo da Ua was conveniently located in the heart of Venice. Rooms can use updating but overall decent price for central location. There are many options for shopping, dining, etc…

I would say this hotel is a 3.5

The room we had was spacious! They upgraded our room.

Good location

The hotel is very well located and the staff does a great job. The room was comfortable and the bathroom clean. What can be an issue is that it doesn’t have an elevator and when they give you a room on the fourth floor (5th by American standards) it can be uncomfortable. However for a 3 night stay, we learned how to deal with it. Thank you all.

Our room was very small and the view overlooked an alley/roof top. Quite noisy too but a really good central location. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is very good.

It was a simple decent hotel. No windows to see anything and you go down a semi-dark alley to get to it. But the location was perfect for us. The price was perfect. The breakfast didn't like to be much so we went somewhere else. But if you want to see a lot all in walking distance and not spend too much. It's good. The room is very very small. The shower is very very very small. If you are a bigger person, good luck, it won't be easy showering in there. It was quiet and clean. If you are on a tight budget but want to enjoy Venice, this is a decent choice.

Arrived to no longer a room available for our stay after booking 5months in advance to be put in another hotel 15 minutes walk away ,to not even be staying in the hotel but a dark dirty damp room in the alley way out of the hotel , booked a lovely room at the hotel originally for a proposal weekend in Venice,to be ruined by this experience, complaint has been filed by not even a generated email returned to me , absolutely disgusting practice from Expedia in my opinion.

Good location and easy to find. Really basic room for the price. But you pay for the area

We've been traveling through Europe for almost three weeks, staying in 6 different hotels. This is the ONLY hotel who told me it was custom in Europe to sleep on a STRECHED-OUT COUCH, AND NOT A PROPER DOUBLE BED! Unfortunately, the person at reception did not (or pretended to not) speak English very well and we could not have a decent conversation about the matter. When we booked the room through hotels.com, the room was listed as a room with a double-bed. The location of the hotel is great and the food and service in restaurant is good, but that is about the only compliment I can give.
Although the room had a kitchenette, with a stove-plate and washing basin, there were not crockery or cutlery as "that does not come with the room" (was the reply) - my word; why is there a kitchenette then?

Tucked into the perfect spot near major shops and dining - very clean room!

Amazing stuff,location and rooms,loved everything

The location and staff were good. However, the hotel room was not as pictured; it was smaller, old needing some repair (wall peeling), key hole was difficult to use, moldy, no elevator, fridge door would not stay closed, etc. It was a definite case of misleading advertisement and a let down.

HORRIBLE!!! The worst experience of the whole trip. Horrible service, no air conditioning, did not provide roller bed that was agreed upon reservation, wanted to charge more, uncomfortably small, expensive, tacky decoration, horrible service. Extremely disappointed with Hotels.com, I don’t think I’ll continue using this website after this horrible experience.
